Comos glance around as he made sure he had everything. He had lay a blanket out just near the edge of the beach. The breeze was enough to keep them cool and not get sand into the food. Setting the pinic basket down he hope she like sweets. He made alot of pastries, as well as some lemonade. For lunch he made simple chicken salad sandwich, with a side of mixed fruit.
With a smile he look over at the pink and purple flower petals leading up to the spot. He started it clear down the other side of the beach hoping the petals wouldn't blow away.
With a wave of his hand a small black hole appear. Sticking his hand into it he pulls out a center piece made of pink hibiscus, purple hibiscus , as well as small white hibiscus. Setting it carefully down he chuckles "I do believe everythign is ready."
Taking a seat on the blanket he watch for her arrival.

Zoe left her family's house and found her way to the beach. It wasn't long before she found the petals. "Oh, my he really did that." She smiled to herself as she wouldn't have believed it.
Zoe began to walk, but she was kinda slow. So her picture was pretty... that was only a picture. What if he hated her after meeting her. Mist began to swirl around her.
Zoe shook her head as she kept walking. No point in thinking about it now. Just meet Cosmos. Then things will happen or not. The mist stayed around her as she followed the petals.

Comos stood looking up at the sun for a moment, pushing his hair from his face he smiles. He was hoping this would turn out to be a great day. Looking down the beach he tilts his head watching the figure as she walk this way.
It had to be Zoe as she look like she was following the petals. Bending down he lifts the single white hibiscus holding it in his hand. A smile form across his lips as he felt rather nervous. This would be something he would have to get use to all over again.

Zoe saw the male fae and waved to him. In case he wasn't sure if it was her. Zoe found her way up to him and then nodded. "I'm guessing you are Cosmos unless there is another male fae on the beach with a tail a petals." She giggled a little, but it was a nervous giggle.
"I'm Zoe." She bowed slightly as she hadn't been around fae's that much and he did seem regal to her. There was still a bit of mist clinging to her legs.

Comos smiles brighten before he too bows to her. Taking her hand he kiss the top of it as he looks up at her "Your right, I am Comos, and it is a pleasure to meet you Zoe." standing straight back up he takes the white hibiscus placing it carefully into her hair. "I am very glad you decided to come this afternoon. I hope you don't mind that we sit here by the beach."
Holding his hand out her nods towards the pinic that was sitting just on the edge "I figure we could enjoy a meal and get to know one another?" looking back at her he couldn't help but smile.
She truely was a beauty, and that made him wonder as to why she couldn't find someone to love her.

Zoe nodded. "Oh, yeah the beach is nice. I love it here. My family lives here. Well, most of them." She rambled a bit as he kissed her hand. She blushed a little with some mist. Zoe tired to make it stop but it was hard sometimes.
"Thank you." Zoe said about the flower and touched it with her hand. She was sure it looked nice in her hair. Her grandma used to wear one, but that was long ago now.
"Okay, sure!" She walked over and sat down hoping she was ment to. She frowned a bit thinking that might not have been the right manner.

Chuckling Comos follows her taking a seat across from her "So your family lives here on the beach? Must be great, mine live I think pretty much everywhere on this isle." with a light shrug he lifts the top to the basket "I hope you like chicken salad sandwiches as well as fruit. I figure for such a lovely day we could eat something light."
Opening the plastic open he place a plate down in front of her "So you play guitar. I'm gonna assume you love music then?" looking back up at her he had a gentle smile on his face.
So far the date seem to be going great.

"Yeah, most live on the beach. There are a few I dont' know about." Zoe had a few estranged family memebers, but she didn't really know them anyway.
"Oh, that sounds nice. Did you make them yourself? I don't really know how to cook. My mom does though. She liked black berry stuff. She grows them in her garden." Zoe smiled as she looked at the food Cosmos broguht.
Zoe nodded. "Oh, yeah I really like it. My dad and grandma are really good. I'm just okay. Do you like music?"

Comos chuckles as he nods "Yea I learn to cook when Kaelin, my adopted sister was pregnant. She couldn't get up all that much, so I often brough food to her." setting some fruit onto a plate, then the sandwich he hands it to her.
Smiling he nods "I love music, but I don't play. I enjoy listening to it though. I often go back to my caretaker's home just to get some of her elven music. Very soothing, and very peaceful." making his own plate he places down in front of him.
Lookign through the basket again he pulls out to glasses then a bottle of sparkling cider "I hope you don't mind apple cider." pouring a drink he hands it to her "So if you don't mind me asking, how is a beautiful woman such as yourself, have no man in her life?"

Zoe nodded. "Oh yeah? That was very sweet of you. I should learn I guess. Still, if it's not my mom's food it's food from the bar." Zoe chuckled she sure had lots of reason not to learn to cook.
Zoe took the food and smiled. "I should play for you, though I'm only bass. It sounds better with the rest of the band." She then tried it. "Very good." She told him. She knew it was good manners, though she really did think it was good. "Yes, that's fine. I haven't had cider much." She told him with a nod.
The last question was harder. "Oh, well..." Mist swirled around her. "I don't know. I guess I just haven't met the right guy? I haven't met many... how about you? You are very handsome." She told him with a blush and mist.

Comos shakes his head then smiels "She is family, its the least I could do?" picking up a piece of fruit he pops it into his mouth "I would like to hear you play one day." pouring them both glasses he hands her own "It would be interesting to see a family play together."
Looking down at his plate he takes a deep breath as he thought over the question she threw back at him. Nodding slightly he sighs "I did have a love once, she was an Angel like you. But she vanished one night while we were at home sleeping. I spent months searching for her off the isle." looking back down he shrugs "But I know she is gone, so I'm moving own."
Lifting his glass he takes a sip of the cider "Thank you for calling me handsome. Sometimes I wonder if I am." with a light chuckle he looks towards the water for a moment.

Zoe smiled. "Yeah, it is fun to play with my family. I think we sound pretty good." She giggled a little as she ate more of the food. It really was good and she liked it.
Zoe looked up at him with a frown. "Oh, I'm so sorry. That is very sad. My grandpa left my grandma. She's been trying to move on too." She wasn't sure that was the right thing to say. "You are wrose off them me. I guess I just feel left behind. My sister has someone." Her mist stopped now as she felt a little better, which wasn't right.
"Oh, but you are handsome." She smiled and looked at him from behind her glasses.

Comos nods listening for a moment before he looks out towards the water "I often believe things happen for a reason. Maybe your grandmother will find someone will love her. Just like you will.." looking back at him he smiles as he lifts a piece of fruit to his mouth "But never feel like you need someone in your life. Because you do, you have your family."
Looking down he chuckles "Thank you, that means alot. I often found that my being quiet made people wonder." with a light shrug he looks up at her.

Zoe only nodded a little. "Yeah, I know... it's not the same is it? I mean, my sister is getting married and has kids and yet I still live with my parents." She then shurgged. How did she have the right to be so sad when this guy lost his love? "I just want to be loved by non family. Is that really so bad?" She then let a tear fall from her eye which shocked her. This was a date why was she being this way?
Zoe stuffed a bunch of food in her mouth to cover for herself. Though, the mist was still around her which proved she was feeling odd. She then nodded to his other comment still eating food.

Comos arches a brow before he actually gets up moving to sit beside her. Lifting his hand he brush the tear from her cheek shaking his head "No its not bad to want something like that. Every person does Zoe. I found a method that worked for me, that might work for you. Simply stop looking for love." brushing her hair from his face he smiles.
"It will come find you, when it believes your ready. It work in a strange way, but I promise a woman as beautiful as you. You will find love someday." sitting back he jolds his hand out towards her "If you like I can introduce you to some of my family." taking her hand he gave it another soft kiss.
Even though he had a feeling they would be friends, he was going to remain a gentleman and treat her as a princess until the date was over.
