Tell me, who is your favorite and least favorite decepticons. Personaly, I like Starscream, but can't stand Shockwave.

Hmm, that's a toughy...I suppose my least favorite would have to be the crazy Galvatron (the Leonard Nimoy one was okay). The whole "I'm insane" but really got old after a while.

Hmm, My favorite would probally be Starscream as well.
Least favorite, I never really liked Scourge, he just seemed quite lame.

That would depend on the series.
G1: Fave would have to be Soundwave. He was a manipulator like no other, and had a completely loyal army of his very own in the cassettes. Smarter than any would think, save Megs, nobody underestimated him that didn't regret it.
Least would have to be their portrayal of Grimlock- no, wait, hold the angry mob . . . let me explain. He was downgraded to the sidekick for Rodimus, and that really played up his dumb side. In fact he is brilliant, just has a bit of a glitch in his voice processor. Read the comics and realize that he is somebody to be respected and feared- not laughed at.
Beast Wars: Megatron. Devious, Calculating, manipulative, powerful. Of all the Megatrons thrust into our world, he is arguably the most successful. At least a third of the time his plans worked- a ratio few other megs can match.
Least is probably Terrasaur. A combination of bumbling idiot and hopeful powerplayer. Somehow he always annoyed me.
Beast Machines: Again, my fave has to be Megs. give it up to the bot that not only conquered Cybertron, but also nearly became the allspark itself!
Blackarachnia, however, became the crapjob. She went from a playful and powerful female figure, to a pining co-dependant wuss.
RID: Do I have to like any of them? I suppose Scourge. He is as close to an 'evil' Prime as I have seen.
Least, Cybershark. Like Blackarachnia of BW he seems like he could be a powerful Predacon, but ended up being a whiny wuss.
Armada: Hmmm . . . again, do I have to like any? I would say Megs again if he ever loaded up his 11 possible minicons at once. That might have made him worthwhile. Instead I suppose I would have to say Starscream. That is the only worthwhile char in the show that had any development at all.
I hated so many here . . . Can I just say the entire cast?
Energon: No favourites . . . all hates.

I'ma do what Talon the Diamond Star did and state from different shows.
From G1:
Fav= Megatron (He was just a great leader and a heartless commander)
Least Fav= Shockwave (simply didn't do anything outrageous or cool)
From Beast Wars Though they're Predicons and not Decepticons:
Fav= Rampage (It was a close tie with Megatron 'cause THIS Megatron was somewhat insane and an egomaniac, but Rampage's lust for other's pain and misery is too much to make him come in second)
Least Fav= Scorpinock (He was supposed to be second in command but didn't really do anything great in that position. He wasn't even a really good fighter neither. Also, he didn't seem to have enough "Predicon spirit," like as in he wasn't as "in to" destroying his enemies as the rest of them seemed)

Talon and Knight have you seen what Shockwave is like in the Dreamwave Transformers series?
If not look in to War and Peace immedeately, he kicks Megatron's a** for a starts and has his own very good set up agenda.
Shockwave is also pretty damn powerful in gun mode due to his high firepower level.
Least Decepticon I can probably stand is probably Skywarp.

Agreed that Shockwave is undeniably powerful. Take the guile of Megatron, and the manipulation of Soundwave, that makes up Shockwave. He is among my favourites, without a doubt. I have been mulling over the Dreamwave G1 handbooks and was a tad surprised to learn that several of my favourite charecters are there solely because of him. Triplechangers, clones, duocons . . . All thanks to his innovations after The Great Shutdown.
I only stop at his lower ideals. Shockwave is all about evolving Transformers in the same rich as a mad scientist. The difference is of course, he is not mad- he is disturbingly sane and brilliant. He was seemingly content to remain a master of Cybertron though. I would prefer my conquerering villian to want more than just a single world- take it all!

Ahh, I haven't gotten in to the Dreamwave Transformers series so I wouldn't know. In the G1 TV series Shockwave isn't too great, but yeah, I don't know about the stuff he's done in the Dreamwave series...

Same here, Knight. I have not read the comics, but I loved the show, so a G1 guidebook to all the transformers was something I could not, would not pass up. I love it!!!

Cartoon network only seems to want to show their 'new' series, even if they suck worse than just about any series I can think of- TF or not.
