What is the consistency, just so we can get any idea of what type of discharge you're dealing with. Color and how thick it is would be a great help.

A half a cup Satanical, a teaspoon Puritanical, Stirred with a bloody hand A quarter cup Messiahcal, a sprinkle of Maniacal And now I’m a Mechanical Man Oozing through your undies and shorts? o_o I'd go see a doctor about that. I've been on my period for about... four years now, and mine has never been that thick. x.x;; ♥

That's just the discharge? Some perfectly healthy girls wear a panty liner all month because of discharge, but I've never heard of it soaking that much. Considering that you haven't had your period much yet, this could just be a temporary effect of fluctuating hormones. But you should still probably see a doctor, just in case.

Try a pad for your discharge.

I would use pantyliner, but I'm all out. Pads are too thick and uncomfortable.
@HeartAttack: Maybe. Because usually my period is light.
BTW: This is Kitten.

That doesn't sound normal. I get pretty serious discharge, but not that serious...

BTW: This is Kitten. xD I wish I had the liberty to feel the way you do. I have the curse of an abnormally heavy flow. Thank goodness at the moment all I have is maybe 3 periods a year. Because I'm thirteen. My mom says it won't last long though. Woopdeedoo! xD But yeah...I have to use the EXTRA thick ones. xD Ya get used to em I suppose.

That should not be normal. I read in a magazine that your discharge isn't normal if it leaks through like that. You really need to see a doctor. D:
I use pantyliners too. But at night you guys should try sleeping without your underwear on when you don't have your period because it's a better way to protect yourselves from infections. Also remember your smells cause if it smells like fish or something, not normal.
And sometimes it seems like I don't get my periods every month like I'm supposed to, but then when I get it, its been like one month past so it's normal. If it gets to 3 and you're older than 15, it's not normal. Unless you also just started your period, then the cycles are weird. Or so I've read. D:

R A W R Yeah I agree. See a doctor because I have huge flows too but not that bad. It may just be a beginning period thing but still, see a doctor. R A W R

I don't know. I've had my period solidly every month for the last eleven years. Never missed one. Although, mine lasts three days and I loose five pounds afterwards. But even still, that should eventually even out and get regular as I grow older.
But I don't know about after period discharges. I'd see a doctor just to be safe, because that sounds particularly heavy, and in the meantime, wear pads or pantyliners, or the fake, paper underwear. (I had to do that when I first started, because the pads didn't catch everything.)
It's never a bad idea to check things out with a doctor. Even if there's nothing wrong, you want to have that assurance, right? Go with your mom or a friend if it makes you feel better.

"I think I'm drowning, asphyxiated . I want to break the spell that you've created . . .I wish I could help, I truly do, but I've never had such problems. My periods have been regular ever since I started [which I don't like. Periods are such a pain. D: ], and this discharge that y'all are talking about . . . I dunno, does it always start after the period? And, if so, for how long? I haven't really put much thought into it since I don't really have any problems, but I think my discharge comes before my period. But I dunno. I'm probably making a big deal out of nothing.
And, since I'm sorta spamming the thread, I'm gonna look some stuff up for ya. :]
I know someone already said some of this, but I'll put it here again: A vaginal discharge is considered abnormal if it is
* Heavier than usual * Thicker than usual * Puslike * White and clumpy (like cottage cheese) * Grayish, greenish, yellowish, or blood-tinged * Foul- or fishy-smelling * Accompanied by itching, burning, a rash, or soreness
I'd put more from this page I'm on, but I don't want to gross or freak y'all out. Here is the page I got the information on if you want to read the rest of the article. Hope that helped! . . . You're something beautiful, a contradiction. I want to play the game. I want the friction."

Well I have this little guide book and it tell you facts and stuff about periods, and it says " Any discharge which: - smells unpleasant - is thick - is yellowish or darker - causes itching or burning can be a sign of infection You should see a doctor who will be able to recommend the proper treatment. But don't worry - vaginal infections are very common, can easily be treated and are nothing to worry about.

That's a little extreme. o.O
Is it like whiteish, clearish liquidy stuff? I get that too, but not as bad. I wear a panty liner everyday, that helps me, but I'd recommend you see a doctor about that.
