Here is were you can discuss Ty Lee. Where do you think she learned how to paralyze people? Is she gonna turn on Azula? Will she date Sokka? How do you think her relationships with the other characters will change?

I really hope we get to see more development with Ty Lee. Hopefully some info on her past, why she befriended Azula, etc.
She probably learned her paralyzing technique at that Firenation Girl's Academy Azula metioned in 'Return to Omashu'.

Ty Lee scares me too. At first I thought she was just an innocent character who was pulled into the dark side by the Sith Azula, but after watching "The Drill" I found that she kinda enjoyed attacking people. She's like a happy-go-lucky villian that finds pain funny and cute.
She scares me eek

Three episodes into the third season, and we still haven't seen Ty Lee!
Did Azula, like, kill her or something? O.o

Nah, she's still alive.
We saw her in her bathing suit at ComicCon 3nodding
I love Ty Lee xD
She cracks me up, and is kinda scary. I just wish she'd spend more time with Mai so she couldn't bother Zuko so much >w>;;;

Ty Lee is a pretty amusing character, despite her somewhat terrifying ability to paralyze people.
Agreed. I'd prefer seeing Mai spend more time with Ty Lee. I mean, all we ever see of the Fire Nation is Maiko and Zuko angst. Dx Not fun.

Spoilers! Highlight to read:
Okay, so we finally learn a bit about Ty Lee's backstory, and I think it explains quite a bit about her character. I mean, if I had six sister who looked exactly like me, I'd wanna be different and be a bit attention hungry too.
Oh, and her giving advice to Azula to was quite amusing. xD

I think I like Ty Lee most of the villains. If she was real she seems like a nice friend to have but this is just my opinion. I kind of hope she switches sides.

So, I officially love Ty Lee. <3 Not only is she kick-a** in terms of fighting, she's also awesome because she finally stodd up to Azula. =D I've been waiting for that since her first appearance, and I'm so glad it finally happened.
Except, now we probably won't see her for the rest of the season, 'cause she's in jail. D:

I don't think this post has any spoilers, but as these episodes I talk about are fairly old, so, eh.
If you pay attention closely, Ty Lee and Sokka share one line [kinda like Zuko and Katara do, though they share sentences more often. xp ] in the episode The Headband and Return to OmaShu.
Ty Lee: "The Universe is giving me strong signs it's time for a career change."
Sokka: The Universe loves proving me wrong doesn't it? *Serpent comes up from the water* Thank you, The Universe!
It's funny isn't it? Sokka is not the religion type, but he believes in more worldly things. [And he still believes in spirits, Yue is a case in point. /Is a Hidden yukka/sukka shipper/ty lokka shipper. ninja ]
