My molly currently has popeye. I was wondering if melafix is a good medication that will heal popeye.

Melafix should help, but here is a link with some additional information on treating popeye.

I would be sure to isolate miss or mister molly in a hospital tank to ensure that none of her/his tankmates somehow get infected as well.

I hope your molly is still okay at this point, I realize it's been a few days since you've made your post. Good luck with nursing your fish!
