Manuela - Delilah's first friend. Back when Del was tiny and quiet, she thought Manny hung the moon and stars when she introduced her to pretty things and friendship. Now that Del's grown up, she's lost touch but finds herself in the strange place of missing someone.

Jacoba - Oil meet water. It's the clash of the titans and, while Del respects Jace's willpower, she finds the other girl too loud, too graceless, and just too much all around. Still... There's no point in antagonizing her! Jace is, after all, a strong lady - something Del always regards with a measure of interest.

Antony - To all appearances, the prince to Del's princess. While once close enough that her mother would joke about Del's "boyfriend," tension has appeared now that they're both teens. Del is mentally counting to twenty on this one, considering the blue prince.

* Delilah is not keen on the dark and has a nightlight shaped like a tulip in her bedroom. The nightlight in the hallway is shaped like a daisy and the one in the bathroom is shaped like a rose.

* Delilah does not like long pants and starts to rub at her legs when put into them.

* The flower in Delilah's hair never wilts or sheds petals. It is also a constantly renewing thing; she can pluck it and give it to people and it will grow back within moments.

* Kova picked her name based on the sound of it, not knowing the Biblical Delilah or Tom Jones' Delilah.
