The Execution Hill, as some call it, this area has currently been sectioned away from most of Seireitei, and is currently being used as a temporary training area for the Shinigami Academy.
At this time, higher level shinigami, as well as several teachers patrol the forested area at the base to oversee training. Several of the student teacher shinigami have also stepped forward to act as training partners for the lower level shinigami.
Atop the hill, classes are being held in sections, specifically, the five primary classes, Zanpaktou, Shikai, Hakuda, Kidou and Houhou. As students pass these classes, they're sent down into the forested area for further training.
Current Winners
Haro - 1 Hikari - 2 Haruko - 3 Shunketsu - 4 Akira - 5 Karite - 6
You're attempting to hit Hiren, who has a dodge of 1d20+20. You are permitted to use your hakuda attack bonuses, as WELL as your reiatsu/reiatsu control modifiers, when attacking. Therefore, calculate your attack for this exercise as:
1d20 + Strength Mod + Accuracy Mod + Hakuda Mod + Reiatsu Mod + Reiatsu Control Mod (1 Point Per Every 10 Ranks) = Total
This enables a better chance of hitting the teacher. You may not add any other bonuses to your attack besides the ones listed above.
I will allow each student a chance to 'attack', and tag the teacher, before attempting a dodge in a lump sum. I will respond to the dodges in order, and will have 'Miyoko' giving out the bands as people tag Hiren. After you've tagged the teacher, you can return to the top [different thread], start sparring, do solo training, or whatever you wish, until everyone has caught her at least once.
If you have not completed at least Zanjutsu or Hakuda training, you are not permitted to participate in the tag game, and need to go into the training thread!

Zenmaru, with his lumbering frame of 7'1, finished the last few steps of the stairway that led up to the execution ground. His eyes looked on at the sandy ground of the mountain, and followed the rough ground till he saw the feet of other shinigami. The man smiled, lightly, as he saw the gathering students and the teachers of the soul academy.

The alarms were loud and could be heard from every corner of Soul Society, a siren sound was coming from the heart of Seireitei. The announcement was broadcast via hell butterfly, which now crowded the sky with the beating of black wings:
"Attention, due to recent events, Soul Society will commence a lock-down of Seireitei in an hour's time. All shinigami, students and otherwise are to immediately return to Seireitei and remain there until further notice. I repeat, due to recent events, Soul Society will commence a lock-down of Seireitei in an hour's time. All shinigami, students and otherwise are to immediately return to Seireitei and remain there until further notice".

Tsai had made his way from Inuzuri district to the footsteps of Sokyoku Hill. He looked up at the stairs that he had to climb. His eye twitched as he looked at how long the staircase was. "I get out of the hospital and now I have to do all this? Might as well challenge myself," he thought as he took his first step up the stairs, and briskly began increasing his speed as he began jolting up the stairs.
In about 4-5 minutes time, Tsai soon made it to the top of the staircase with only a few more steps to go, there was still a gathering here, and more people were arriving due to the announcements. "Hell butterflies..." Tsai said looking up at the swarm of them covering the skies almost. "How beautiful.." he said as he admired the black butterflies in the sky. Something was definitely happening up here in Sokyoku hills and Tsai was determined to find out what since he had missed a whole lot while being in the hospital ward for most of the time.
Tsai walked up the few remaining stair steps only to bump into Zenmaru. "Oi, Ugu-sensei!" he tapped the giant's back with his right index finger, while his artificial quincy-silvered left arm (Gingishu (lit. Silver Arm) remained at his side.

Ugu turned and looked down at Tsai. His lime eyes looked down at the teenager's oddly covered arm. The man's smile from before quickly died off as he saw what had happened to the young student. 'So he was the student that got hurt.' A sad look overtook his face, and soon a small tear exited through the small corner of his right eye. "How are you, Tsai?"

"Ah, I'm doing well sir, my arm still feels weird after the operation that they gave me but it's alright, as long as I'm alive and well enough to train, I'm as happy as I'll ever be. Might I ask, what is going on here, there sure is alot of commotion," Tsai asked afterwards.
Tsai's neck felt uncomfortable when talking to Zenmaru. He was too damn tall, Tsai was only 5'3... 5'3 1/2 if you count that he was growing a bit now.

"..." He turned away from Tsai to look at the gathering shinigami. From student to retiree, his eyes moved and shifted to take them all in. After a moment of collecting his thoughts he turned back to the younger student. He soon began to speak, "The commander seems to be gathering everyone for training. He probably realizes that everyone, even students, will be needed in the battle to come.."
A short flash in his mind prodded the image of the two dead children into his mind. Their clutching fingers, strained arms, still tear stained cheeks tight against their mother's shawl... Then he thought of Kaosu, Karite, and Tsai bloody and dead beneath the blade of the blue butcher from earlier. He shook his head, quickly clearing his mind of the image. "Probably, at least. You heard the announcement, right?"

"actually, I have no idea bout anything right now, I heard from the nurses there was an announcement but I never heard it, I was probably drugged up at the ward, but I heard that some Ryoka had invaded Soul Society like the same one who attacked me," he put his hand to his chin and began thinking. "If Yamamoto-sotaicho is training us all at once, that means.. were drafting soldiers to prepare for war?" he asked wondering if his theory was right.
"Yamamoto-sotaicho also announced that they are sealing up Seireitei.." he noted to support his theory.

He smirked as he could see the massive stair case infront of him, looking all the way to the top and shaking his head. "Leave this kind of structure for the mayans to build, not us!" He growled as he took a deep breath and he placed his foot upon the first step of the long journey onwards and upwards. He wasn't going to run like Tsai had done, but he was going to take it easy and just go at a slow pace, conserve his energy and waste a little bit of time getting up. He wasn't sure yet if Tsai was here, but he hoped he was, or he would have felt a bit like a fool, leaving his house because he was alone, only to be alone anyways.
He contined to walk slowly, and the sun beat down upon him, the raining having ceased and his wet clothes stuck to his skin. He coughed a few times as he walked and then took a drink from a small water canteen hidden within the folds of his black outfit. The sun didn't make it too much fun wearing that black robe, but what could you do? It was the uniform, it had to be worn, so there was no use complaining about it. By the time he had made it to the top of the stairs, it had been at least eighteen minutes and he smirked as he saw Tsai talking to Ugu-Sensei. He walked up beside them with a smile. "Been a while Ugu Sensei." He said with a grin, he remembered his very first class with the monster of a man. He then looked to Tsai and nodded to him. "So, sticking around here you think?" He asked.

Kaosu, being one of the last ones through the gates of the Sereitei, muttered curses as he slowly began climbing. They can't even SLOW the gates for one measly shinigami student, can they?! Had to pull some stupid Indiana Jones crap there. He was torn between going to the Lin Manor and here. Eh, a detour wouldn't hurt.
He took the stairs three at a time, he had discovered it was quick and conserved energy considering how fast one would be going. Finally after a few minutes he reached the top, huffing slightly. "Whew. Well, what do we got goin' on here? He tapped Ugu slightly when he noticed some spacy, fearing look in his eyes. Kind of like a death premonition or something. "You alright, Ugu-sensei? We don't want our number one shinigami spacing out when war is upon us, do we?"
Kaosu was fiddling his feet, first shuffling then drawing in the dirt. He was impatient and worried. This was beyond him. Beyond most of them.

".. Number one?" Ugu asked, midst his chuckling. How could he be the 'number one shinigami' when there were several guys and gals miles above him in strength all around them? Shinrei, Aichou, other teachers at the academy, the General-Captain, and many others were infinitely more powerful than him. 'I'm just a low-leveled grunt.. If they think -I'm- powerful they have another thing coming.. Ah well. Today will most likely dispel their myth.'
He broke his small bit of air-headedness to turn to the two newly appeared students. "Haro and Kaosu, nice of you to come." A small smile kept on his lips as he looked back to Tsai," And you're not being drafted. You're part of the Shinigami defence squads, even if you're a student, Tsai. So technically you aren't being drafted."

As he's running between buildings Rikatsu occasionally catches glimpses of Kaosu up above as he heads towards the city. As they get closer to Seireitei Rikatsu sees that Kaosu is heading in a different direction from where Tsai said his manor was. Hey wait didn't Tsai say something was going on at So-kyoku hill? Continueing to run along for a bit Rikatsu considers. Might as well check it out, doesn't look like Kaosu's going to Tsai's manor either.
Slower of foot than Kaosu, Rikatsu arrives several moments later. Gazing at all the gathered shinigami he moves up beside Kaosu and whispers an aside to him, "Any idea whats happening up here? Or did you just want to postpone your beating." He flashes Kaosu a quick grin, which he rapidly stifles as he feels the seriousness of those around him.

Kaosu turned, a coy smile on his face. "Oh, well we were, but this is so much better. This is training from the best. This is hundreds of times better than what you and I could accomplish from me beating you to a bloody pulp. This is the Academy in a few days. You ready?" He shoved him, challenging him.
He himself didn't know if he was up for it, but he'd sure as hell try. Might as well, right? Give it all you have, and then give some more. A chance to sweat, bleed, and cry. Wonderful.

Turning his shoulders a bit, Rikatsu maintains his balance from the playful push. He then looks at Kaosu with a serious expression the then nods soberly. "Aye, I'm ready for any chance to grow stronger and more able to defend those who can't defend themselves." His eyes actually flash with a fervor not seen from the normally serene student. "Taking care of troublemakers like the Ryoka and protecting the innocent is what being a Shinigami is all about.... to me at least." He continues, "And if what you say is true, this will be our best opportunity; And as far as I know. his is the only time something like this has happened in the history of Soul Society." Rikatsu gestures further in.
Smirking, Rikatsu relaxes a little. "Besides, it gives you a little longer to enjoy walking around without a full body bruise."
I can do it, I can get stronger, and I will get stronger to protect those who need protecting.

Tsai nodded to he people as they arrived and then turned back to Zenmaru but did not reply. He watched as Kaosu and Rikatsu were about to have a spar of some sort but kept thinking at the back of his head if something bigger was going on. There was no way that four ryoka were able to wipe out nearly a whole district, and cause Soul Society to lock up Seireitei as a mere warning.
Something was going on, something big was about to happen. Tsai knew it. Everyone was giving 100% to train themselves so that they could help defend Soul Society. Tsai now feeling highly motivated stepped up and drew his zampakuto. "Mind if I join?" he asked Kaosu and Rikatsu delightfully.
