i was talking to my dad a little more and he was telling me how i got my name.(not aloud to say XP) and strangly enought i got my name after an army comersal scream burning_eyes . but befor that he was almost named Rebel lin (cant say last name, my dads rules suck) and also i was almost named tory after one of his D&D characters (AHH!! scream ) and i was almost named sam. thats a lot of names. eek
i still think it weired he wanted to name Rebal Lin! (rebal lin, rebelin hehe get it?) and i got a brother named Storm. (storm trooper)
have you connected the dots yet? hes a starwars fanatic. rebalin storm trooper.
that would be very weired to be called rebal in class.

lol oh wow!!
I got my name from my dad also. ^_^ Dad had a close friend who recently had a daughter and he liked the name "Stephanie" a lot so he decided to name me that.
^_^ I love my name too. In french or greek it means "Crown" and the name meaning (in thoes really detailed books and stuff) really really matches me a lot. lol My name is rather common but its still nice. ^_^ My sister has a unique name that mom chose (lucky her. ^^')
AH..my bad~! I just realized I read the question wrong somehow. o_o'
What were I almost named? I have no idea. lol I think I was named stephanie as soon as it came to my dads mind. blaugh sweatdrop

lucky you! my name was changed atlest 5 times! (im so happy mom wouldnt let my dad name me rebal lin or tory after a d&d caracter O.o my brother was named after a d&d character thou ^.^)

The Lady Nikki i like my name it kewl sry cant say it (my dads flippin rules i hate it) I remember when I was smaller I was told not to give out my name also. ^_^ But I did after a while b/.c its so common. lol So many people named Stephanie. ^^'

The Lady Nikki my name is common for guys and not so common for girlz... what somewhat stinks is my first and last name are SO common i have some one in my class with my first name or my last name... My name wasn't very common in Elementary school. However, iI see many people with the same name now. Back in the eighth grade I had two other fellow classmates with the same name. crying Anyway, what I was almost named: Matthew, Joseph, Dusty or Gunnar. Gunnar would have been awesome.

My name wasn't very common in Elementary school. However, iI see many people with the same name now. Back in the eighth grade I had two other fellow classmates with the same name. crying Anyway, what I was almost named: Matthew, Joseph, Dusty or Gunnar. Gunnar would have been awesome. You're all complaining about common names but the bad thing about having a more uncommon name or spelling it different thatn most people is that people always spell it wrong. The ways I've had my name spelled: Sienna Ciena Cienna Seina Sinea [I can't remember if that's just me mistyping my name though. I'm a terrible typer.] I'm constantly asked how to spell my last name too which I find amusing since it's a country. =P

There was this girl in two of my classes last year who was really annoying because she made everyone call her by her middle name which was Sierra and she was always talking so people were calling her name and I thought they were calling me so I always looked. It is kinda fun to yell a really common name, like Brittany, in the middle of a hallway though and see how many people look.

It is kinda fun to yell a really common name, like Brittany, in the middle of a hallway though and see how many people look. lol and i run into that a lot too (my named being called and they where talking about some one eles) and a lot of people spell my name wrong 1 out of 20 of my certificets are acturlly spelled right gonk ive been going by my nick name so people will stop spelling my name wrong its even worse when your own dad spells your name wrong(thats happened more then once to me)
