I love the quiet sound of your voice tonight
Silently laughing as i joke around.
Your face in my mind, yet it feels so right
Lying on my bed, feet still on the ground.
Phone to my ear, eyes threatening to sleep
Praying to see you yet again this week.
Daring to tell you how i want to keep
Eyes quite shut tight as they begin to leak.
Wondering if you feel the same way too
