 Del'nal wobbled slightly as she flew in the bright blue sky. She was getting used to flying especially seeing as she was much bigger now. Being able to roam free and not get in trouble for it was such a blast for her. It had been a couple weeks since she had last seen her parents. Freedom was just amazing and she loved it. Wobbling even more she decided it was a good time for her to head down back to earth and plant all four hooves onto it. Like her mother landings weren't exactly her greatest thing to do so she landed quite hard and tripped over a big rock which resulted in her landing on her belly instead. "Ow..."

'Naci had spent the day playing outside while Lovey overwatched her. The big-haired momma looked over her like a hawk and occassionally. Okay, most of the time, she missed her family.. Moppet and Nono and Horne and Azumoth.. but until she was bigger she'd just have to live here in the pretty area. Oooh.. What a shiny mare!
She even had hair that was nearly as long as her momma's... Picking up a light albeit shaky trot the filly came bouncing up on the mare.. her hooves, mane, and tail were made of blue fire and the grass around her feet crackled but never burnt.
"You fell! Oh my!"

Del shook her head as the dizziness left and she tried to figure out where she was. Though instead of seeing just the trees in front of her there was now a little foal who had feet of what looked like blue fire. She looked at the foal in slight confusment trying to figure out how one could have fire and not be burnt. "Oh uh yeah I did fall I guess." She couldn't help but laugh a little. "But I'm fine. I think. My name is Del'nal but everyone calls me Del. You look very pretty. Though if that is fire how does it not burn you?" Even with growing up she still was quite the talker.

'Naice just continued to look at the little mare. Okay, so maybe her the mare wasn't really that little but to 'Naci it was tiring ot think that everbody was bigger than her. "My name is Ignacia, but most of people just call me 'Naci to begin with. Her pale silver cheeks tinged with color for a moment before shaking off the embarresment, "You're coat is pretty and that's all that matters. My mane is fire, but I don't know who my real momma and pappa are but they're prolly just like me."

Del smiled as she watched the foal's mane and listened to her talk. 'Oh I'm not as pretty as you though that's for sure. I wish I could have fire like you. You don't know who your mama or daddy is?' Del was shocked and slightly amazed at that bit of info. 'How could you not know them?'

"Weell, ye seem me mam an' dah chose ter abandon me when I wasna even outta me lil basket." The little filly spoke with the calm candor of an adult and managed even to shrug. What was there to be sad about when she knew she had a mam, a dah, a cousin, an' an uncle? Life was perfect for her own purposes.

Del stared in slight shock when she heard about how the little fiery one was abandoned when she was still just a basket. 'How could anyone do such a thing?! That's just downright mean. They should be hunted down and taught proper parenting skills. So you pretty much live on your own then? I still don't think that's right at all though. You should have a mama or daddy or even both.' She ranted on and she also put it away in her mind to ask one of her parents how some adults could just abandaon their own children.

Wide amber eyes stared patiently at the mare while she ranted about how awful someone had to be to abandon a basket, "I thought that at first ye ken, but me uncle wouldna hear any o' that. He said there had ter be reasons fer it besides bein' bad people." Shaking her head and smiling easily when a few whisps of flame fluttered down into her face, "I've a mam and dah and uncle and possible aunt an' a cousin." Okay, grammar just fluttered right out the window, "Even if we canna say we technically share the same blood."

"There is no reason to abandon your child though. Absolutly no reason at all. It's just cruel. Utterly utterly cruel. I don't think I could have ever lived without knowing my mama or daddy. It's strange just thinking about it." Del rambled on as she pawed at the ground.

'Naci sighed softly and propped up a foot in resignation, most people found out about her past and felt the need to ramble on and on about how awful people had to be to do that. Did nobody ever see that she had a mam and a dah that cared for her? Most of the not-abandoned Soquilis rarely saw their mother's and fathers.. In her mind she was much better off.

Del finally stopped her rambling and looked down at the foal. 'Do you like to play games?' she asked wanting to know 'cause she was in a playful mood now. 'And if you do like to play games would you want to play with me?'

Finally the mare got over the fact that her past wasn't as hunky-dory as the rest of the world! Yay.. Oh games? "Oh aye.. I do enjoy gettin' out an' kickin' up me heels.. what do ye have in mind, eh?" Whoo.. let the games begin!
