Jojo: *With candle in hand, the feline made his way through the park gates and over to a bench where he sat down. Thinking for a few moments, he stood back up with a flick of his slender tail and walked towards the small pond.. relaxation was a good thing.*

Shadow_windstars says:
Joscelin's coppery eyes closed, his breathing rough. His tongue crossed his lips and he slowly approached the candle holding figure, gun held easy in hand. "Excuse me sir," he said padding behind the cat. "This is a hold up." This..this should stop it. Stop everything.

Tym's my Wonder Girl says:
Joseph turned around, setting amused emerald eyes onto Joscelin. Glancing towards the gun, he simply stood completely calm and relaxed--unphased by the gun pointed towards him and the words that the other spoke. "Oh? Is that right, sir? Would you mind telling me what you're holding me up for?"

"Umm," he stammered copper eyes widening in surprise, gun wavering slightly in his grasp. This wasn’t what he expected. The cat had seemed a likely candidate to be armed and end his pitiful existence. His teeth bit his lip; tail fluttering trying to think of some answer anything.

The coon dress was not one would expect for a robbery. It was bright golden and red well care for and expensive fabric if worn a bit shabby. Dirt was on the helm and slightly smeared across one cheek. He had fallen from everything he knew, riches, home and had just been kicked out of the barest necessities. “To kill myself..”he said softly perfectly at peace with the statement.

"...Then shouldn't I be holding you up?" the feline inquired, one slender brow arching as he scanned the other over. Shaking his head, he clicked his tongue in a 'tsk, tsk' manner. Closing his eyes, still perfectly composed, he thought for a few moments. "Perhaps what you need is someone to speak to... Death, although inevitable, is generally the wrong answer to any problem."

I thought you where armed sounded lame so he stayed quite, flushing slightly. Why did he have to hold someone up that sounded like his darling papa? Except Father was dead now-because of him. He shook his head. “I don’t need to talk about it. Death is going to come to me soon anyways.” He laughed bitterly; coppery eyes tearing, gun swing to his face. “I..I just hoped someone would do it for me.”

Green eyes were completely focused on the male standing infront of him, ears flicking at each word that spilled from the beautiful mouth. Shaking his head, Joseph reached out and lightly took the gun. "Death is coming for all of us, sir... but it would seem you long for Death's company more than Death longs for you."
Taking careful aim at Joscelin, he let out a soft exhalation of breath, before quickly turning to toss the gun into the pond. "Do forgive me sir, but I do not wish to help with suicide, or murder. I do wish you the best of luck, though." With that, Joseph turned lightly and took a few steps away from the other.

A soft hiss escaped him as the gun was plucked from his hands. His eyes blinked, tears forming and he shook slightly completely focused on Joseph. “Please here.” He whispered setting a pale hand over his heart. “I know my face is ruined now..but I,” he trembled, eyes closing to here that click.

Instead a splash, his eyes flew open and he sunk to his knees. “No..” he sobbed out, tears leaking from his soft hazy eyes leaking down his cheeks. “You..no..” he shook his head, reddish hair fluttering as he whimpered, rocking slightly

Stopping, the feline glanced towards the pond before turning around to face Joscelin. Slowly, he approached the male that had sunk down to his knees. Bending down beside him, Joseph set his candle on the ground and reached out to lightly place his hand ontop of Joscelin's head. "...You couldn't have honestly expected me to pull the trigger..." he said softly, tilting his head to the side.

He pulled back slightly at the pressure, tearing eyes looking up though the mass of hair. “I, I was hoping you would. I’ve tried so long. He never finished it..he caused this,” he shook his head. “No I did.” Joscelin looked away, finger clutching in his odd breeches and skirt combo.

“I, I’m just exhausted. I don’t even have a penny to my name. I have no skill, nothing of use but this body and w-“ he whimpered shaking his slim body. “Just can’” He could not sell his body. Staving seemed such a slow painful death.

Joseph frowned, and shook his head. "Come," he said standing, holding out his hand with a small smile. True, Joseph was sometimes a bad guy, but for the majority he was a pretty good guy. After all, he was still a gentleman. "Let's get some food in your stomach, your clothes cleaned, and you rested up. Just... trust me, okay?" A short pause, "I won't kill you, but I can help you."

Shying from the hand, eyes warily searching the smile for some sort of malice. Nothing, the words rang true in his ears. Tentively, he settled his slim hand in the others eyes not straying from Joseph’s face. “O-okay.”

With a small, reassuring smile, Joseph lightly pulled Joscelin to his feet and began to lead him towards his own home. It wasn't too far of a walk, and Joseph's house was... well... very big. Pretty much a mansion. Opening the door, he led Joscelin inside, leading him through a large sitting room, through the large kitchen, and into a bedroom. "Help yourself to the clothes...""And I will need to know what food you would like to eat, and perhaps your name?"

The barest glimpse of a shy smile poke though at the prompting one Joseph gave. He followed slowly eyes trying to take in everything at once and with a soft chuffing cry he began to sob when he saw the house. Tears trickled down his cheeks as he stepped into the mansion that seemed so close to his own home. An actual home! No more caves and dirt.

He rubbed his eyes stepping into the room. “It’s..It’s Joscelin. Joscelin St. Clair.” His fingers started to unbutton his top; he paused flushing, holding the fabric against his chest. “I, I’m sorry to cause you all this trouble.”

Nodding his head lightly, Joseph turned around with a flick of his tail, so as not to watch Joscelin undress and redress. "Joseph... Joseph D'Moura, and it's no trouble at all." Though he wasn't facing Joscelin, he smiled nonetheless. "And what would you be craving to eat right at this moment, Joscelin St. Clair?" Joseph had a plan for Joscelin, and luckily enough, it wasn't anything cruel.

“Just Joscelin my lord, “ he replied stripping fully out of his clothing except for a small tiny cross set across his neck. Joscelin ran his fingers over it before redressing in the nearest clothing at hand just wanting to wear something clean. God he needed a bath something soon. “Breakfast would be wonderful..” Name a food? Anything, everything..he couldn’t chose.

"Just Joseph, Joscelin," he said softly, finally turning around once he heard the other redress. Walking over, he gently took the dirty clothes that Joscelin had been wearing, taking them into the next room to put them in the washer. Smiling at Joscelin, he nodded. "Breakfast it is, then." With a flick of his tail, Joseph thought for a few moments. "It may take awhile, so you may shower while I cook. The bathroom is just through that door," he said pointing towards it, "and Joscelin... you may stay here, with me, until you are back on your own two feet. I will help you the entire time, I will put more than just a penny to your name. And please, I won't accept no for an answer. All you have to do, is promise that you won't ask anyone else to kill you."

“Joseph,” he repeated submissively bobbing his head. He shift slightly under the other glaze uncomfortable being in such a state with someone that once would have been his equal. Shower? He looked up hopeful, head turning to look at the door. God how he craved a shower, he felt so filthy.

‘Promise that you won’t ask anyone else to kill you.’ He stiffened at those words, eyes fluttering down, and his small teeth worry his full bottom lip. “I. I can’t promise,” he said finally rubbing his arms.

Joseph approached the other, and lightly put a hand on his shoulder, noting the submissive tone that Joscelin had spoken with. Joseph liked that someone was submissive towards him, but... not to this extent. Turning, he walked back towards the doorway. "Okay, then you will be staying with me until you are well again. Showers and warm food every day, no longer having to worry about money."

Joscelin winced as the hand fell disgusted at himself. He was just as good as Joseph and he was nearly begging for a meal and shower. He had cried at seeing the house. Joscelin rubbed his eyes and a small growl came out. “I am well. I am not sick monsieur.” He spoke with a trace of what he once was. “Hungry and cold perhaps but not ill.”

Joseph quirked a brow and smiled charmingly, "And that's just the attitude I was trying to drag out of you," he said lightly before waving a hand lightly in the air. "Oh, and by the way... Your face is not ruined. Nothing a little shower and food can't fix. You're still attractive, so don't worry. Besides, it's obvious that you once had a status like my own, and you know what... you still do."

Joscelin ran his fingers over his face slowly remember each and every wound and scratch he hand inflicted during the night terrors, attempting to claw his eyes open. He shuddered breathing turning in harsh pants suddenly cold at the unpleasant memory. “It is scars. They may not be apparent,” he traced a small thin line. That healer had been impressive. “No…no I don’t,” he shook his magnificent head. “I lost all of it.”

Joseph said nothing, he had simply went to cooking Joscelin food. He stood in the kitchen, fixing pancakes, eggs, sausage, and bacon. The feline shook his head and sighed lightly. Joscelin was attractive. Part of him was submissive, but the other part wasn't... and it was apparent that he had some issues. Soon enough, he was finished cooking, and set the food on the table, turning to read.

Joscelin watched Joseph leave, playing with the collar of loaned shirt. With a sigh he stripped down once again, folding up his borrow clothing and hurried for a shower. Clean to be clean again. He turned on the hot water keeping it at a temp just cool enough he wouldn’t burn and moaned softly as the hot waves his back…Warmth felt sooo good. He scrubbed himself raw and cleaned his hair nearly three times till he actually felt nearly sick and dizzy.

He turned off the water, stepping out and collapsed. Perhaps he stayed in a tad to long.

Joseph reached up and lightly scratched his ear as he moved into the sitting room, to sit in a nice comfortable chair. Picking up a book from the side table, he drank his water and flipped through the pages. He was concerned at how long Joscelin had been in the shower, but he was sure that if he had went awhile without a shower he'd be in one for hours...

Joscelin rested on the cold porcelain of the bathtub breathing in and out waiting for the dizzy spell to past. He ran his fingers though his long red hair, separating it in stands to dry faster. Standing slowly he wrapped a towel around his waist and slowly redressed himself. Breathe in. Breathe out. Slow and steady. He finished dressing himself and with slow dainty steps walked to the kitchen.

“Sir? Joseph?”

Joseph blinked when he heard Joscelin's voice, and slowly closed his book to set it down. Standing with a small sigh, he rubbed his back and made his way to the kitchen doorway, lightly placing his hand against the frame. "I hope you enjoy the food, Joscelin. I wasn't quite sure what to make for your late breakfast..." he said quietly, closing his eyes with a small, tender smile.

The coppery eyes looked up at Joseph and his lip quiver. “It’s thank you. All of it looks so good.” He walked slowly and sat down graceful in the chair pulling his meal towards him with a small sniff. The slim fingers picked up a piece of bacon and a small moan escaped him, as he tasted it. “I..I haven’t had food this good in so long.”

Joseph tilted his head, and scratched his ear lightly as he leaned lightly against the doorway, nodding softly. "I'm honored that you enjoy it, Joscelin. I... should probably go prepare a room for you to sleep in for the night," he said gently, turning lightly away as he began to slowly walk towards the stairs. Scratching his ear, he flicked his tail and smiled lightly.

The coon ate slowly savoring each bite finishing his plate squeaky clean as the gentleman cat left to prepare his room. He was going to have his own room. With an actual bed and warm blankets.

Joseph had quickly prepared a room, that connected to his own room, just in case anything happened. He put a stuffed animal on the bed, as he always did when someone was staying over, and moved back downstairs. Smiling at Joscelin, he tilted his head to the side. "I have a room fully prepared for you... do you need anything else to eat, or is there anything you would like to do?"

Joscelin shook his head, smiling softly. “No, no I don’t need anything else sir.” He said softly, running his fingers across his hair. “I just want to sleep now Joseph.” He stood slowly giving a small smile.

Joseph chuckled softly, and shook his head as he turned, with a candle in his hand, to light the way. "Please, Joscelin... there is no need for you to call me sir. You are not my servant, you are a guest." He began to lead the way towards the room, opening the door as he set the candle down. "That door over there leads to my room, in case there is anything you need during the night."

A faint flush colored his cheeks. When had he become so servitude? “Correct I am not,” he said softly following along. I am not a servant. I should not act like a servant. “I..I doubt Joseph I can think of anything I would need with what you are providing.”

With a small smile, Joseph turned and glanced back over his shoulder. "Even so, I feel better knowing that I'm closer just in case you do end up needing something. This old house can get a little uncomfortable during the night." No, Joscelin wasn't his servant, Joscelin was his -equal-, it was just that the coon had fallen from grace a little bit.

Joscelin pushed one of the drying strands behind an ear, giving it an irritated glare as it frizzed. “I. I will be fine; I have slept in worse places.” Some down right uncomfortable for him. “Thank you Joseph till the morn,” he slipped inside his room locking the door and fell in his bed sobbing quietly. It was all too much for the coon.

Joseph didn't change his mind. In fact, he sighed as he heard the other sobbing. Shaking his head, he moved into his room, and sat down in a chair, staring out the window while tapping his fingers against the fabric in contemplation. This... part of him only wanted to help Joscelin, and the other part wanted more from the coon. But, no. He was only going to -help- him. That was it.

Joscelin wept himself to sleep, small fist curled close to his mouth. His lashes rested on his cheek as he slept in the borrow clothing.

A few hours latter a odd malice aura slipped into the room, covering the sleeping coon causing a him to whimper and that same gun once pointed at Joseph slipped in the customary spot close to Joscelin’s hips. His nose wrinkled for a moment before he sigh and everything went back to normal.

Joseph hadn't slept all night, he had simply sat and stared out the window, thinking. Slowly standing, the feline moved out of his room and quietly into the shower, closing the door, but not bothering to lock it.

Joscelin woke slowly, stretching leisurely in the bed and murred deeply stretching, shifting his hips and paused. He blinked twice reaching down and pulled out the heirloom gun. That was strange he could have sworn it had been thrown into the lake..did that mean this was a dream? Or that was a dream?

The coon stood and padded over to the other room. “Joseph?” He called softly, searching for the cat. If it was a dream then the cat wouldn’t be here. He walked to the bathroom, head tilting at the sound of water. He must be dreaming. He opened the bathroom door stepping in. “Jospeh…….” Maybe not..

"Yeah?" the feline's smooth voice called over the sound of rushing water. His ears and tail twitched, as the water was slowly turned off. Reaching out, he grabbed a towel and pulled it into the shower, wrapping it around his waist before stepping out. He was well built, but slender, his skin shining and perfectly smooth, every curve slender. "You hungry?"

A red flush colored Joscelin face as the cat stepped out. His tongue ran across his lip as his eyes wonder across the well built slender body that was just beautiful. “No, I’m fine.” He reached out slowly, hand hovering over one of Josephs shoulder trying to get the nerve to touch the flawless skin and prove this wasn’t a dream. “Am I dreaming?” he questioned.

Joseph had nodded his head at the first words, not seeming to really take notice to the eyes scanning across his exposed figure. He had turned to the mirror, and had begun to fix his hair, when he noticed the hand hovering hesitantly above his shoulder. Turning, he lightly took Joscelin's hand, and pressed his lips tenderly to the coon's knuckles. "Does that answer your question?" he asked, gently releasing Joscelin's hand.

He blushed then, eyes hazing at the surprisingly tender kiss to his knuckles. He took back his hand running his fingers over the knuckles, looking down at them as if he couldn’t believe his eyes. “Y-yes, it does. Excuses me monsieur, I did not mean to break into your bathroom.” He turned and fled out of the room face burning in embarrassment. That..that did not go well.

The feline blinked, and smiled, then gave a small shrug when Joscelin fled before he had time to say anything. Fixing his hair, he exited the bathroom with only the towel around his waist. Once in his room, he dressed into his usual style of clothing, before looking around for Joscelin. "Joscelin...?" he called, frowning lightly as he continued to search around for the coon.

The coon stood in his room, slowly undressing to get ready for a cooling bath to cool the suddening flaming of his skin and this odd feeling in his belly. Back turned to the unlocked door he shrugged off the shirt letting it fall down creamy soft curving shoulders. It fell to the floor in a heap followed by the pants that slithered down his legs. Joscelin tilted his head up at the ceiling lips parted with a sigh and moved to the window to open it. Morning air would feel good. He forgot to answer Joseph caught up in his thoughts.

Joseph continued to search for Joscelin, before lightly knocking on the door to the other's room, opening it after a moment of silence. And there he stood in the doorway, staring at the back of a beautiful, creamy-skinned body. There was no blush that fell across his cheeks, no smile that worked onto his lips. Nothing, simply those emerald eyes, taking in the sight. "I'm sorry," he murmured, quickly backing out of the room, closing the door.

Joscelin did not hear to caught up in what he was doing. He opened the window giving a soft murr at the crisp morning air before disappearing into the bathroom for a quick, brisk cold shower to get the disturbing heat away from his skin and the flickering sometimes shockingly naught thoughts out of his mind.

The creamy skin goosed bumped but cleaned and his teeth chattering the coon dressed in a different set of found clothes and stepped outside his door.

Joseph had already disappeared inside of his room, and changed clothes to sweatpants and a tight black shirt--something more comfortable. He didn't plan on going anywhere. Stepping out of his room, he smiled lightly at Joscelin before walking towards the kitchen. Leaning against the counter, he flipped through a cook book, trying to decide on what sounded good, since Jo didn't seem to be hungry.

Joscelin gave a small smile back feeling slightly over dressed in the long sleeve sweater that hugged his skin and jeans. It fitted well though just tight enough at his slim hips not to worry about it slipping down. He followed Joseph having nothing better to do and slightly nervous if he left the cat’s sight all this would just disappear.

Tilting his head, the feline hopped up to sit on the counter, not caring whether it was seen as bad manners or not. Hell, it was his house. Joseph's emerald eyes watched Joscelin carefully, as his tongue flicked out to moisten his chapped lips. "Joscelin, are you all right?" he asked quietly, hopping off of the counter to walk towards the coon, stopping a few feet away.

The coon nodded, stepping forwards to lessen the distance to a few inches. “I..so many bad things have happened to me. Some terribly horrible thing to just suddenly have all this..” he gestured to everything. “It just seems to good to be real.” He paused looking down. “ I don’t want to wake up and be alone again,” he muttered in a tiny voice.

Joseph gently reached out, his hand tenderly resting against Joscelin's cheek. His touch was as tender as his kiss, his skin smooth and warm. "Then you won't be alone again," the feline murmured softly, leaning forward to lightly press a kiss to the top of Joscelin's head. He didn't want the coon to see anymore horrible things, he wanted to help him, suprisingly enough.

Joscelin rest his head against the hand, copper eyes closing at the feel of smooth warm tender skin. His lashes fluttered at the kiss and he gave a small sound. His hands fell down, fluttering and hit the butt of the gun. “You leave like everyone else.” He muttered stepping back from the warmth. It was lies. Everything was lies. The voice said so.

Closing his eyes, he lightly folded his arms across his chest, shaking his head before he set his eyes back onto the coon. "No, Joscelin..." the feline started quietly with a little sigh, "I won't leave. I refuse to leave... If I ever leave, it will be because you left first." Joseph said softly, turning around as he walked back towards the counter. "I can't stay with you if you won't let me..."

"Nobody can stay with you if you won't let them. Maybe it's not your fault, either... but you have to choose who you want, and who you don't want..." he said quietly.

“It says you are though. The voice keeps away the nightmares and I don’t want that curse again. I don’t,” he said pulling deep inside himself shivering eyes going flat and emotionless. “If I die I can be with Papa again and he won’t leave me…”

“Then it's lying, Joscelin. You keep listening to that voice, and you'll end up alone again, and death will never come for you. The voice is not the only thing that can keep those nightmares away from you," Joseph whispered as he walked up beside Joscelin, before brushing lightly past him and into the sitting room to sit down, staring towards the fire.

Joscelin whimpered side stepping back. He wanted to believe. Neron said he had taken away the curse, stuffed it in his gun and that was it. Still every once and a while those nightmares that left him clawing and crying in terror, dripping blood and tears came and hurt. He swallowed and walked slowly to Joseph. “You..can you stop the nightmare?” He questioned.

Joseph gently rubbed his temple, then rubbed lightly at one of his ears. It helped him to think clearer. "If you let me, then I can try." the feline wasn't sure if he could make the nightmares go away, it all depended on how comfortable Joscelin got with him--how comfortable they got with each other. Simply sharing a bed, nothing sexual. Just to see how the night went.

But Jo probably wouldn't agree to that, and Joseph was very attracted to the coon. Something more than lust. There was just something about the coon that made him feel different, so it wasn't likely that Joseph would do anything Joscelin didn't want him to do.
PostPosted: Mon May 21, 2007 7:34 pm

Joscelin sunk gracefully to his knees on the floor, staring up hopefully at the cat. “I..I want to try. I don’t want the nightmares anymore. It..It happened cause Neron cursed me. I don’t even know why he just did said he was experimenting.” Joscelin wrapped his arms tightly around his legs trying to protect himself. “I made him take the curse off so I didn’t claw myself every night trying to make myself wake up. So I didn’t have to drug myself to stay awake.”

Joseph stood from the chair and approached the coon, kneeling down onto one knee to reach out and gently touch his shoulder. "It sounds like you need to stay away from this Neron fellow for one, and for two, I can only help you if you get comfortable around me. Don't force yourself to, just follow your gut instinct.. not the voice.... and then I can help, okay?"

The coon took a sharp intake of breath before nodding slowly, looking up at Joseph though his coppery red lashes. “I know I have to keep away from him. He’s just such an a** and cute damn it.” He ran his fingers though his hair with a sigh. “I’ll keep away from the voices. Try to..it came back,” Joscelin added slowly pulling out his gun, holding it out with two fingers.

Glancing down towards the gun, Joseph sat down on the ground with his legs crossed and tucked into his body. "So the voice is your gun, and it keeps coming back...?" he questioned quietly before shaking his head. "So what if he's cute? He put a curse on you, and he's obviously no good. Besides, you'd be better off with someone like... Keller, than with him." he added with a chuckle.

“I guess. Neron took the curse away, placed it in here.” The coon rubbed his brow giving full body shudder. “It hurt. It hurt so much.” Joscelin tilted his head, flickering his tongue across his lower lip. “Not like that, not sexually. I just wanted to die by someone cute.” He snorted. “I’m not interest in being with anyone.”

"Hm... Keller would kill you," Joseph thought out loud to himself before blinking and shaking his head. "But you don't need to kill yourself... so forget that I ever mentioned Keller. It doesn't seem like this Neron fellow is planning on killing you, either. So I'm afraid that you're just out of luck... unless you really and truely want to end it all. Then I'd send you off to Keller..."

“No he doesn’t and I am confused about all this talk,” the coon shook his head fingers running across the single dragonfly earring. “So you don’t care if I see this Keller then.”

"No, I do care. But I'm not going to stop you from doing something you don't want to," the feline murmured quietly as he stood up, sitting down in a chair. "Though I might want to warn you, Keller is quite persuasive. I find you attractive, so he'll find you gorgeous. He'll try to talk you out of it, so if you really want to die, don't let him change your mind."

Joscelin rest his chin on his knees, looking up at Joseph with his coppery orbs. “I..I think I rather stay here and let you try.” He ran his fingers across his lips, eyes looking at his feet. “Right now I. I don’t want to meet any more people. I’ll just loose myself, do something I will regret.”

I'm not sure you'll agree with my methods," the feline frowned. Sharing a bed and trying to explain that it wasn't sexual wasn't exactly an easy thing to do--especially not for Joseph. He usually got in a bed with someone for the sexual reason. Bah... he had really gotten himself in too deep this time, god damnit.

“I will not know unless I try. I tried killing myself that didn't work. Perhaps I should just let you try stopping everything else.” Joscelin stood slowly walking to Joseph and knelt, resting his chin on the cat’s leg. “Are..Are you regretting trying to help me?” He asked in a tiny voice.

Joseph closed his eyes and lifted his head lightly, looking down at the coon as the chin was rested on his leg. With a light smile, he leaned his head back and closed his eyes, reaching out to lightly touch Joscelin's soft hair. "No, I'm just... thinking. For nightmares, the only thing I can think of is to try sharing a bed--in a non-sexual manner..."

Joscelin eyes flickered just as his hair was touched. His eyes blinked twice, small teeth worrying his lips before he nodded. “That is something we never tried. I guess we can try that,” he said looking up at Joseph. “Fully dressed right?”

"Fully dressed. Abso--well... you will be fully dressed. I'll have these sweatpants on, but I can't sleep in a shirt. Normally I don't sleep in anything, but I can sleep in pants... just not a shirt, it feels like I'm being strangled." A short pause and his tail gave a flick as his fingers gently twirled a curl of soft hair, "...that's okay, right?"

“I prefer a long shirt to sleep in really,” he admitted. “Pants just feel odd,” his eyes closed as the fingers twirled in his hair a small sigh coming from his mouth. “It, it will be alright,” he muttered trying to ignore the voice whispering in his ears.

"I can find you a long shirt to sleep in... I'm sure I have some around this house somewhere. It's just... in case you do have a nightmare, I'll at least be right there to comfort you. And hopefully, with another body in the bed, you'll feel more... comforted or safe in your sleep, and hopefully the nightmares won't come at all.." Joseph said quietly.

“Thank you. I would like that then sleeping in this again,” he said tugging on the collar of his sweater loosing it. “It’s uncomfortable to sleep in these clothes.” He looked up at Joseph and nodded. “It might help..At least you can keep me from clawing myself from the nightmares.”

Joseph nodded his head lightly and continued to run his fingers through the coon's soft curls of hair. It was still pretty much morning, so he wasn't exactly sure what to do just yet... but at least he had managed to comfort the coon somewhat... That was good...

Joscelin’s eyes flickered closed. “That feels good,” he muttered resting his cheek on the others pants content at the moment. “I..I think I will have breakfast then. If that is alright with you?”

Joseph nodded his head and smiled, continuing to gently stroke his fingers through the soft curls before pulling his fingers away with a nod of his head. "I take it that's my cue to fix you something to eat," he chuckled lightly with a gentle smile.

“Toast would be good,” Joscelin added slyly. His eyes opened slightly hazed from the pleasurable feeling of being stroked. It had been a long time since he had been touched in such a way. “I don’t know where anything is in the house monsieur.”

The feline smiled, and gently ran the tips of his fingers from Jo's cheek to his chin, before slowly standing up. Holding out his hand, he quirked a brow. "Come and I shall make you food. Just tell me what you crave, and it will be made..."

The coon shivered at the caress, eyes widening slightly. He blinked twice before taking the hand, standing up smoothly. “Toast. I never have been much of a breakfast person. With some strawberry jam.”

Smiling, he gently played with the coon's hair again, after he had stood, before gently taking his hand to lead him into the kitchen. Immediately, he prepared toast and readied the strawberry jam, layering it nicely before handing it towards Jo.

His teeth bit his lips slightly at the playful movement and the odd sensation running from crown of his head till his toes. Joscelin did not know what to make out of the spine tingling feel. He followed obediently and blinked before giving a tiny smile. “Th-thank you.” Damn, that stutter.
Joseph smiled lightly and nodded his head, a slender brow quirking lightly before lowering quickly. "You're welcome," he murmured lightly before seating himself at the table to enjoy a nice glass of warm milk.

Sitting, he ate the toast slowly licking crumbs from his lips between bites. He finished his breakfast, if a slice of toast could be called breakfast, and wiped his fingers on a napkin. “Can I..get something from the fridge?”

"You certainly may," the feline said, granting the other permission to his request. A slice of toast could be considered breakfast, and personally, Joseph never ate breakfast. He was more of a strictly dinner fellow. Only having milk for breakfast and lunch, usually.

Joscelin searched in the fridge searching for a beverage. “Soda?” He questioned looking up at Joseph hopefully. It was not something he drank often but right now he needed something sugary and sweet. The coon felt childish for asking.

"Yes," he murmured lightly, nodding his head. The coon could have whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted, and he didn't need to ask permission... but that didn't mean Joseph didn't like him asking. Manners were a refreshing thing to see.

Joscelin picked up a can of soda and sat down, popping the top, and listing to the cheerful fizzing of the liquid. He sipped the liquid with a pleased murr tail waging slowly behind him. It was sweet, bubbling, and the fizz tickled his nose.

The feline smiled lightly, slender black tail flicking as he carefully watched the coon. Admittedly, sharing a bed with him would be difficult with the keeping to himself part, but he would do his best to not do anything that Joscelin wasn't comfortable with.

Did the cat always smile so? ANd he was watching him again though with his spasitic behavior it probably was called for. He said I was attractiv...the coon blinked eyes narrowing in thought before shrugging it off. Joseph couldn't have ment it.

His fingers rubbed a tiny scar, one of few he gathered durning his curse. He was scarred and his sibbling had said-damn his sib they where the one that outcasted him from his own home.

The coon sigh, tapping the alummn can. Now rested and feed, even dressed and cleaned he felt to dependent on the cat. Not that it was bad, it was to be expected he couldn't get to his trust fund and his sibblings had cut him out of his fathers will. He did have a few things though back there...in that cave. His features wrinkled slighlty.

"I..left some things at my last place of dwelling..I would like to get them back." Was he allowed to leave? Actually he didn't really want to but then he wanted his things back.

Joseph's emerald green eyes intently watched the coon, every now and then his small black ears flicking against his red-tinted orange curls. The coon was attractive, he always said what he meant, it was one of the ways that he operated. Telling lies was useless, and to lie about what beauty he saw within the other would have been nothing but pointless.

Tail giving a flick, he closed his eyes and nodded his head. Okay, so the coon had a couple of things out of his posession that he wanted returned to him. All of that could be arranged. Joseph lifted his eyes back up at Joscelin, and stood. Moving to the coon's side, he gently ran a finger along his cheek.

"I am to assume that you want these items back in your posession as soon as possible, correct? In order to do so, since I have no clue where your last place of dwelling is, you will need to get them yourself. Of course, I'm willing to go with you, but... I will leave that entirely up to you." He spoke softly and almost carefully, leaning lightly against the table, staring down at the coon.

He sigh at the little caress. "Yes, most of them are not valuble so I'm not worry about them, but mothers pearls are there." Three and a half feet of deep creamy color perfect pearls that had been passed down by his mother for years.

He paused looking at the cat and then his hands. Would Akash mind him bring a guest? The coon pushed his hair back and finally nodded. "It would be best. He probably is not going to be happy with me."

The feline listened to the other and then frowned lightly. Gently, he placed an arm loosely over Joscelin's shoulder, placing the other hand on the back of the coon's head to lightly pet his hair. Now, he really didn't like the sound of anyone being angry with the coon... Despite the fact that Joseph really didn't know Joscelin's previous living arrangement and how well he got along with the other tenants, but still, it just didn't settle with him. He would go to ensure the coon's safety.

"Then I shall go with you," he murmured lightly, smiling down comfortingly towards Joscelin before leaning over to tenderly brush his lips to the coon's forehead. Removing his arms, he stood and stretched with a small yawn, little fangs visible.

Joscelin amber eyes widden slighlty at the contact. He had never been touch so familiary, well not since he had been very young. He sigh and relaxed. It felt nice to be touched, petted for once, even the soft kisses. His family was never one to really be emotional.

"Thanks, it be best if someone was with me." Joscelin watched the other, eyes lingering on the small tiny white fangs. Kitty fangs. "We best go know, before A'shi returns."

Joseph nodded his head and lightly ran his fingers through the orange curls before moving away from the table gracefully. His tail swayed behind him as he moved forward to collect his candle. He didn't go anywhere outside without his candle. "Alright, then let us get going..."
