Seriously, there's a reason why they arrested you. Its because drugs are illigal. So if you want to do drugs without being busted, don't do it in a car out in public. Do it at someone's house and make sure you don't have any on you, or your friends. You are sooo lucky they didn't make you pee in a cup and yes, ITS OBVIOUS WHEN SOMEONES HIGH ON WEED. They could've thrown your a** in jail for more than one night. They could've taken you to court and you could've had a record which ******** up your chances of getting or keeping a job.

I was told all my life drugs are bad but from what I've seen weed isn't like all the other stuff I've heard about. There's a funny song by a British rap group about a college student asking to legalize weed and a drunk guy saying it should be kept illegal. I can't remember the name of the group but it's a hilarious song.

I've seen customers come into the store high before. So far the only complaint is that if they just smoked it, it kinda makes my nose itch. Besides that, they're the most mellow folks around. I haven't had anything bad happen while a customer was high.

What was the argument against weed anyway? Other than it's a drug. I can't remember.

As for the first paragraph, smoking is said to cause lung cancer, so why isn't smoking illegal? I'm pretty sure that alcohol has some really bad effects on people as well. Not just ones over time, but immediate ones as well.

as for the second paragraph... cuz we all know we give our children alcohol and smokes. Why not make it illegal to smoke marijuana before a certain age like everything else? There's still kids smoking cigarettes and drinking before legal age everywhere.

Drinking alcohol is condoned and so is smoking.

I read something somewhere that one of the main reasons for marijuana being illegal is hemp.

Certain interests that happen to be friends with the government wouldn't like hemp to be widely used because it's cheaper and would work better for things.

Hemp also happens to bear a relatively harmless drug.

I think this is what started it all. So much for politicians looking out for the better interests of the people, huh? rolleyes

Marijuana was initially banned in the U.S. because multi-billion dollar franchise tycoons that were/are very 'influential' on America had already invested alot of money into the sale of nylon, not hemp. They realized that Hemp is a far more superior material to make clothing with but only after they had invested in nylon. Therefore, all forms of Hemp were banned from the U.S.

And no, it's not a bullshit, look it up. I, of course, put it in very basic terms.

That whole teaching of JUST SAY NO to drugs..I got it as well and I personally think it's retarded. That is such an inefficent way to teach children about drugs, to 'Just say no' because they know that in reality this will make children indifferent if not desire to explore into the temptation of these forbidden substances of society. The best way in my opinion would be not to say no or yes but instead some actual unbiased teaching of the drugs and what they can lead to, leading for our dear young adults to make their own independant decisions, actually crafting them into somewhat thinking outside the box beings at a young age. That's a lot better then 'Just say no.' Cause that crap just made me want to try it more. And look at me now! I don't drink, I don't snort coke, do crack, nor have ever had the desire to. I know my own limits and have never gotten physical withdrwals from marijuana. It has not clouded my brain or made me any different from who I was before I started to smoke it. I have not dropped out of school, etc etc..

The argument for why marijuana should be illegal is that 'it's a drug?' What about the countless millions of prescription drugs that are legalized by government? Are you trying to tell me that those are 'safe drugs' because your government has approved of them? I'll tell you something from experience: Presciption drugs can, and usually do, ******** you up way harder then weed can ever do. I'm sure there's a few other people in this guild that can say that prescriptions ******** you up, but I dunno about those of you that can compare prescription drugs to weed..Sure, weed can make you depressed, etc. But so can legalized drugs of all sorts. And 'If marijuana, like cigarettes and alcohol..' then why aren't they illegal, yet weed is?

Marijuana is a great natural plant that instigates pshycoactive behavior and thought processing for a good hour and a half and should be tried at least once by everyone. Cause if you don't try it, then how do you know? I think a bunch of people are just scared to try it because they might actually like it, and then they'll be seen as this little low-class drugg taking individual, but I have news for those that assume weed smokers are these stupid people. Everyone, from the multi-billion dollar CEO's, lawyers, doctors, teachers bums on the street- people internationally from all sorts of backgrounds, class status's and caress smoke and will continue to smoke marijuana. I know, I know. If I say you should try it once, then why not crack, coke or every other drug in existence? Because weed, unlike many other drugs, is virtually harmless universally amongst human beings as a whole, has been smoked for thousands upon thousands of years tracing back to the goddamned Himalayas and has a recorded ******** history of being safer then both cigarettes and alcohol.

It, like almost any other drug in the range of earth has both it's negative and postive aspects on ones body.
