ATTENTION: Its come to our attention that there is some confusion over what is being done here. THIS IS NOT A VIOLENT PLOT--at least, it will not be in the beginning. The first 'wave' of the entire plot will be very peaceful, involving a lot of talking, and ASKING kami to step down. Fighting will ONLY be used afterward, IF AT ALL. While the siblings can be violent, they are trying to use 'Taka's way' and tumble the empire with intelligence, NOT brutality. A PrideLander/Outlander Plot
Brought to you by:TaBlue Swampiestar and Kisoni With Help From:Iris_Virus
The Overview: In the "beginning," there were two brothers, now quite infamous, called Taka and Mufasa. They were the princes of the PrideLands Pride; Taka, the first born, was the heir to the throne while his brother was content to be just another lion in the pride. The two got along famously, until the disaster of invasion struck their land. In the end, Mufasa ignored Taka's wise words of caution and took the pride back by force. He got lucky and managed to win the fight, and for this Taka's throne was stripped from him and Mufasa, whom had never thought to want it prior to this, gladly took it from him. Mufasa did not stop there, however! Taka's fiancee, Sarabi, was also given to the newest usurper of their throne... and this she did gladly. This left his brother hurt and humiliated--a feeling he would take to death, for the plague claimed his life soon after.
Taka didn't leave the world unmarked, however. He left behind two pregnant females, both of which would give birth to a single healthy cub each. The first was Tiah, and the second her half-brother, Danzi. Tiah was raised upon the true story of the pridelands, and taught well the injustice that her father had been dealt. She, like her father before her, was brooding and bitter for the humiliation her family was given--the humiliation of forgetfulness. Even when she rejoined the pride, she was cast aside to the lowly rank of Nanny... not even considered strong enough to be a huntress.
Her rage was nothing that she had the power to act upon, however, and she soon found herself in less a position to do anything about it... Tiah was with child. Her loyalties changed from personal vendettas to the little lives that she now had to cultivate... and yet, we all become our parents, do we not? These children, too, would grow up filled with the stories of their family's unjust past....

The Players:
-- Tahka (Tablue) and Sarafina (Kisoni) _______ The pair with which this plot will begin. Though they look nothing alike, these two have been referred to as "The Twins" since birth for their uncanny report with one another. The pair seemed born to balance one another. While both a little too smart for their own good, Sarafina's intelligence is countered with a weakness towards violence and impatience. Opposed to her, Tahka has little strength to fight with--indeed, he could be said to be the 'runt' of the litter--but what his body will always lack in the physical he makes up for with a quick, sly tongue. Rarely without one another, or otherwise too far from the other's side, these two make a force that isn't easily stoppable. There seems to be something truly odd about this pair, beyond the violence, but no one has quite put their paw on it just yet.
-- Ru Shou, played by Swampiestar _______ Third in the litter of six, Shou, as he prefers to be called, is indeed a quite middle child. What is on the surface hardly matches the inside, however, as Shou can easily become as heavy handed as his elder sister. On his own, Shou may have simply wandered through life without much care to his destination or doings, but his siblings thought to give him a "greater purpose." Considered to be one of their closest allies, he is the first 'general' of their movement and will function as a ready and willing bodyguard.
-- Mjrn, played by TaBlue _______
-- Tiah, played by TaBlue _______ Originally a somewhat reluctant mother, Tiah's attitude towards her brood changed radically in the moments after she'd given birth. While she loves her children as much as any mother might, she lives in constant fear that she has raised them incorrectly--indeed, doomed them from the moment of their conception. Because of this, Tiah find little power in herself to stop her children's revolution, and instead backs them as much as she possibly can. If they can't depend on their own mother, who could they depend on?
-- Nyota'Visima, played by Kisoni _______ Once a passing figure, Nyota seemed to find the perfect opportunity in the form of these little cubs. After making a tentative sort of friend in their mother, his slick words and obvious intelligence have drawn the children to him like a magnet. For now he's sticking around to teach them all he knows about the world and help to further their endeavors. No one truly knows why Nyota has chosen to help their causes, and thus far they haven't thought to ask. As far as they know, he doesn't realize what he's helping them with.

Our "Mission Statement":
Over the course of their late juvi stage, through adolescence, The Twins are going to attempt a take over of the PrideLander's Pride in the name of their Grandfather. They will reach the conclusion to do this fairly early--first as a passing daydream after stories of their grandfather begin to sink in, and later with more and more seriousness. Eventually, a smear campaign against Kamilika will begin, mostly using the truth about her weak career as a queen. They will use this to try and build their "army," though violence will be a last resort to their efforts.
Following the recruitment of as many of the PrideLanders as they can get, the group will come together at Pride Rock to demand that Kamilika hand the pride over to the proper bloodline--to those that could better rule the pride. It is at this point that a true civil war might be started, if not against Kamilika herself, but potentially against Sarakiva and her siblings.
The Potential Outcome:
This side will lose. We feel that it is important to state this, as it is in fact what we INTEND for this plot. Though there is a slight chance that the revolution will follow through completely, the most looked at ending is that all the traitors are rounded up and exiled from the PrideLands. That won't be the true end of this plot, however! After being exiled, we intend for the lions to stick together in their 'righteousness' and form a new pride... the Outlands Pride.
What this plot thread is for:
We're looking to recruite, OOCly, persons that may be interested in having their PrideLander take up 'arms' with our little group. We don't expect that all offered lions(lionesses) will be definite allies, as roleplay will decide how much of this plays out, however we ask that those who post here have a good idea of what they're getting into. This thread is also to be used to see how much interest their is IN an Outlands Pride, and in such a.. pride-wide plot as this is undoubtedly going to be.
Those Interested:
Please, fill out this slight form.... or at least give us about the same information:
Name of the lion: Picture: (for reference) Age currently: Potential Reasons for Joining:
With that in mind, there are a few specific sort of players we're interested in:
arrow Cubs about the same age as our current group that might grow up as friends of theirs--and be swayed to their side later on, OR grow distant from them and their radical ideas.
arrow Lions in power that might have an interest in taking down the current regime--these can be lions of ANY pride. Foreigners are welcome!

Slight Disclaimer:
Just because I know someone is proooobably going to think this: we're not doing this for spite or power or ... i don't know; whatever other negative reasons one might think of. Considering the un-cannon past of the SoA PrideLands, we three thought it would make for an excellent plot that Taka's relatives tried to reclaim his name. This thread was not made until we had spoken with all affected parties ((Iris)) and obtained their consent to run such a plot. In fact, Iris has been very helpful in putting together some solid points in the thread. <3

Oh man. ;; <3 I've been thinking about an Outlands-type plot for a while, so I'm really happy to see this.
I have two SoAs I could offer up.
Hodari'roho is an adult lioness, but she has a personal vendetta against the Pridelands (at least, she will soon). She's the queen of a "pride" in the Southlands, but because of how she runs it... only two lions have joined. xD So she's got a lot of free time on her hands. She's small but a powerful fighter. [pic]
Kiraku is a cub from the Bahari'mtoto pride. When he becomes a juvenile he's going to leave the pride and seek out the Firekin, ultimately being rejected since his fur is the wrong colour. He'll wander quite a bit and could meet up with the twins.
He's fairly big, considering his heritage, and he's a power-hungry bully. I'm sure he could help out somehow and possibly become friends with one/both of the twins. If there's a chance he could gain a high position (not necessarily saying it has to happen - just that he needs to be able to assume it), he'd be all over it. [pic]

I was actually going to poke you about Kiraku since you responded to TaBlue's earlier thread (Before we got this plot worked up). I think he'd be awesome to meet the kids--they might get along really well as he sounds a lot like them!! :3 Hodari, also, would very much be welcomed as a potential ally--they're probably going to need as many as they can get in the coming months!

Awesome! <3 I'll let you know when he gets there so that we can set up an RP. As for Roho, she's not nearly as powerful as she thinks, but she does have a few followers that would help as well if she did.

I'm throwing Latifu in, Reborn and I thought about a plot like this before but she didn't think it would work, so I am happy to throw Latifu in especially if they offered her a position of power if they won. She lusts after power. She is the grandkid of Mufasa and Sarabi so has royal blood though she has always thought her grandfather was a big push over.

Oh crap, I just remembered... *such a dork!*
Do they believe in/accept gods? Or do they take after the Pridelanders in that regard? Because when customs open up, I'm going to get Roho's mate - Xatari, the god of brutality. He could definitely help somehow. xd
