Marshmallow paws padded away from the 'safety' of the places he usually was. He had a wanderer’s heart, so it was hard for his to settle down.
Rules? Right! He never followed those, though he probably should start. Chocolate eyes wandered the terrain for any danger and dark ears flicked for any sound.
He didn’t like staying in one place too long. Perhaps he would return home later; in a few days maybe? He Sat down a licked his paw, wondering which way to go. He’d never been in this direction before. He grinned lightly and stood to start walking again.

 A long spotted tail flicked back and forth with each step it's owner took, the tan fur rippling with each movement. A large smile revealed sharp pale yellow teeth and occasionally a pink tongue when the feline yawned.  Giggling could be head from behind the cheetah's head.The source of the giggle was a small white furry creature with black markings upon her her forehead, paws and legs. She too was grinning as her claws gently dug into the back of her escort as she held on to him to prevent herself from falling off at a terribly fast speed.
Finally her laughter stopped just long enough for her to pose a question to the feline that she was riding upon "Kika, where are we going? Despite the fact that he could not see her she tilted her head with curiousity.
"We're going to see if we can find a friend of mine, one who I promised I'd tell of the ocean and now that I have I'm going to find her and tell her." The male responded before pausing and considering something "I just hope that she's still in this area..."
"Oooooohhh....so that's what we're doing, we're going to see your girlfriend" Maksia said in a joking tone of voice when she spotted the young lion off in the distance. "Looky there Kika there's someone out there!"

Mufasa's dark ears flicked as he heard a very distant voice. He looked towards the source of the voice. He took a step towards the voice, pondering if whatever the creature was would be friendly.
He sat down again to see if the creature would come his way. He stared at the distant figures, only to look past them. He started to clean his paws waiting for the the other creature to arive if it would.

Kikahawia'Kikavu tilted his head at his companions words. There was another traveler out here? How exciting for the cheetah. He loved meeting new creatures and hopefully becoming friends with them. However he just seemed to miss Mufasa and just couldn't spot the small lion. "Where is the person you've spotted Maksiasui, I don't see anyone else out here..." He inquired looking out at the vast expanse before him and seeing nothing.
Maksia shook her head and let out a little sigh. "That's because you're looking too high silly." She stated before removing a paw from his back and bopping him lightly on the head. "Not everyone is TALL like YOU." She told him with a slight scoff before returning her paw to his back.
"Oh....That does make sense..."Kika muttered softly before shifting his gaze lower and finally spotting Mufasa far out in the distance. "Just how did you see them? They're so far away..."
"I have really good eyesight silly."Maksia stated sticking her tongue out at him before adding. "Why don't you pick up the pace so they can see you, get closer I mean.
Kika nodded but not before grumbling a bit and picking up his pace so that the lion could see him easier.

Mufasa saw the distant creature move closer. He could now see that it was a cat like creature that was agile. He couldn't tell how tall it was or anything, because he didn't know how far it was.
He swiped at his tail a bit before starting to pad towards the cat-creature out of curiosity.

The cheetah said nothing more to the genet upon his back as he padded towards what appeared to be a feline in the distance.
Kika's lack of words and calling out to the stranger greatly annoyed the black and white furry creature and she pouted for a moment before calling out very loudly(Much to the pain of Kika who's ear she was next to)"Heeellllllllooooooooooo!" A slight pause as she crinkled her nose and added "Can you heaaaaaaar meeeeeee?" Again much to the displeasure and pain of her friend.
"I understand your enthusiasm Maksi but did you -HAVE- to yell directly in my ear for that?" The cheetah inquired halting just long enough to rub his ear
"...." The genet didn't give him an answer right away, she pretended to ponder the question before she cheerfully replied "Why yes.....yes I did." Her reply only recieved a sigh from Kika as he started toward Mufasa again.

Mufasa stopped and sat up on his back paws. He waved as a signal that he hadf heard the genet's call. A soft smile played on his face as he stopped to wait.

There was a ringing in the cheetah's ears as he trotted towards the small feline, which slowly grew bigger as they approached. It was when he was still quite a ways away that he realized that Mufasa was a lion. It didn't stop his actions, he had nothing against any of the other species, he kept moving forward.
Maksia was grinning broadly when she had seen the others reply. A nice little wave. How nice. The genet then tugged on Kika's dark hair and clambered to the top of his head.
"Ow! Maksia! Stop tugging!" Kika cried wincing a few times as she made her way to his head. His green eyes flickered up to her momentarily before returning to the lion who was now not too far off.

Mufasa gave a small laugh, as the pair was close enough to hear. He gave a small wave of his paw. "Hello~" He chimed into the fairly non-existant wind.

"But Kikaaaaaaaaa, I caaaaannnnn'ttttt seeeeee!" Maksia whined as she tugged on his hair and finally managed to pull herself up on to his head. It was there that she settled down for the most part. Then Mufasa called to them. She brought up a paw and waved it rather frantically, so frantically it practically threw her off balance and Kika had to slow down so that she wouldn't going tumbling forward
"Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!" She exclaimed, basically launching off of Kika and towards the lion.
Kika shook his head when she jumped off his and toward the other male. "Maksia." He mumbled before catching up to her. "I apologize, she's a bit....crazy.

Mufasa almost rolled laughing. "No, it's fine." He grinned at the hyperness of the small genet. "Who might you two be?" Mufasa asked watching the genet for a second before looking towards the tan colored cheetah. "You're not from around here." The young lion stated the obvious like he usually did.

Maksia rolled head over heels before coming to a stop only inches from the lion's body. She looked up at him with a big goofy grin. "Hai." She told him before giggling shaking her fur out.
"I'm Maksiasui! The big guy behind me is Kika!" She exclaimed proudly.
"Actually it's Kikahawia'Kikavu but you can call me Kika if you prefer." The cheetah replied reaching a paw out and pulling Maksia back toward him much to her displeasure. He clamped a paw over her maw to prevent her from whining. "No we aren't from around here, well Maksia is but she hasn't been here in ages.

Mufasa's head almost spun at the long name of the cheetah. "I'll just call you Kika if you don't mind," he smiled. He nodded. "Well, it's really nice to meet you both." He commented. It was really nice. It was lonely with Uovu being a sentry and all, always out and such.
Mufasa was still smiling from Maksia's enthusiasim.

"I don't mind at all, I'll admit my name is extremely long. Longer than really necessary." Kika replied cheerfully to the other male, glad to see another -MALE- face. He couldn't remember the last time he had met a male. As fond as he was of females it was nice to be another the same gender from time to time.
"I must agree."
"It's nice to meet you too Mister......mister....Uhhhhh..." Maksiasui frowned and furrowed her brow. She didn't know his name! "Do we get to know your name?" She asked peering up at him and sort of getting in his face. She couldn't help it, it was just her.

Mufasa nodded. Kika's name was pretty long. He smiled at bother of the creatures' enthusiasm. He probably wasn't as enthusiastic as Miksiasui on a good day.
"Do we get to know your name?"
Mufasa gave a sheepish smile. "Whoops, sorry." He said. "My name is Mufasa," he told them with a smile. "Not really that long, but you can call me 'Fasa if you want to shorten it."
