Have you ever realized that the Simpsons hides what state springfield is in? I live in springfield, Missouri and I have proof that the simpsons live there. Abe (Grandpa) has a 49 star flag and he said that "He'll be deep in the cold, cold ground before he'll recognize missoura." Then there was an akward pause. HA HA HA! Proof enough!
Poor Marge got married when she was fat and pregnant...in a casino! POOR BART! lol
Whch state is SPRINGFIELD in? You make your assement and post it!

(I'd like to apologize for posting in my mule. I'm actually GinoLeTV and also very lazy about switching between accounts just to make one post)
Matt Groening once made the announcement where Springfield is based. I will look for the town but I can give you hints that he provided as evidence.*
This is not up for debate, the last time I posted in this guild it was about the philosophy of the Simpsons and people seemed to think it was a debate! Yes, there is philosophy in it!
The Simpsons live in Canada.
Their surroundings scream United States because that is where most of the fans of the show live.
*Homer is often seen eating pork and ham and drinking beer. Which are often associated with Canada.

I think they live in a made up state; isn't the motto of their state "Not just another state"? And when you watch The Simpsons, it feels like they're trying to hide which state it is in.

In a baseball game the Simpsons sang the Canadian Anthem.
I was wrong with one thing when I posted in that mule. It was Homer eats donuts, beer, bacon, and has been know to have a glass of maple syrup for breakfast: foods commonly associated with Canada.
Matt Groening frist sold the comic strip which eventually turned into the Simpsons in Toronto Canada(1982). His father's name was Canadian and is named "Homer".
Matt even stated in an interview "That would make Homer Simpson a Canadian" after confirming that Homer J. Simpson was based off his father.
Though the town does not exist in Canada as "Springfield" but as "Winnipeg".

klee010795 in one episode it says they live in kentucky...? Yeah, on the "Behind the Laughter" episode, it says, "So what's next for this northern Kentucky family?" But I don't know if that's the real state... EDIT: And also, I used to think it was Illinois, because the capital is Springfield, and in "Lisa the Iconoclast," when they go to dig up Jebidiah, I thought I saw "Adlai Stevenson" on a grave, who was the Govenor of Illinois in like the 1950's... so... yeah...
