 Welcome to the Johto Region! The Johto region's professor is named Professor Elm. The cities of the Johto include New Bark Town, Cherrygrove City, Violet City, Azalea Town, Goldenrod City, Ecruteak City, Olivine City, Cianwood City, Mahogany Town, and Blackthorn City. Some area's of interest you may want to visit are the Ruins of Alph, Tin Tower, Burned Tower, Sprout Tower, Slowpoke Well, Union Cave, Ilex Forest, Radio Tower, Dark Cave, Whirl Islands, Dragon's Den, Mt. Silver, National Park, Mt. Mortar, and the Battle Tower. Every year, the Johto Region has its only league called the Johto League you can enter. But you must have all 8 badges from the Johto Region to enter. When you're in the Johto too, be careful of a group of thieves called Team Rocket. Quoted by Bulbapedia Team Rocket (Japanese: ロケット団 Rocket Group) is a highly organized criminal syndicate "in pursuit of evil" headed by Giovanni (called "The Boss" by his underlings) and based in Kanto. Its main focus is in stealing or capturing, then selling, rare and/or strong Pokémon, but it also conducts cruel experimental research on Pokémon. Jasmine walked along a dirt path in the middle of a forest. She hadn't stumbled upon anything in hours. She was starting to worry that she was lost. Then all of a sudden, she felt a huge shaking underneath her, and a steelix rose up in front of her. She looked with awe, and froze. Then she snapped out of it, and realized the steelix was angry and was charging up a hyper beam. She sent out her Ampharos. She ordered Ampharos to use thunderblot on the steelix (it is effective). It stopped the steelix's hyperbeam, but it made it even more angry. "Ampharos! Use focus punch!" Ampharos used focus punch, which stopped the steelix from using iron tail. The steelix fell to the ground. Jasmine didn't feel very comfortable around the steelix after what happened, but she somehow felt a bond with it, and knew it wasn't always that way, but it was just angry. So she threw her only pokeball and caught the steelix.

Meppe walked out form the town with her Totodile. "Okay Totodile, return to your pokeball" she said. Totodile looked at her and dodged the red light. "Toto toto dile" it replied. Totodile pointed at the pokedex inside Meppes pocket. "Pokemons usually stay inside their pokeballs while traveling" an electronic voice said "However there are many exeptions. Some pokemon hate being inside a pokeball." "Okay, I get it" Meppe said. "maybe we should think of a nickname for you." Totodile nodded and wrote something on the ground. It said "Wanni". "All right, Wanni" Meppe said. "Let's go on our adventure" Wanni nodded and they continued walking.

when payton walked in to town he noticed that there was a pokemart and a pokecenter. so he decided to go ask proffesor oak where to go.

Well one of the things you can do with Pokemon is well you can battle with other trainers from all across the region. you can also battle the gym leaders and once you have all eight badges you can challenge the elite four, but don't take this trip lightly. There will be many dangers ahead of you so beware. there is also one more thing you can do with your Pokemon. you could enter them in contests to see who has the best crowd appeal.
