So, let's discuss Aang. Does he really love Katara, is it a simple crush? Did he actually unlock his final chakra? Will he still be able to bend when he recovers from Azula's lightning blast? How will his relationships change in the next season?

I don't think Aang actually 'loves' Katara. When the he was opening his chakras, and the Guru said love was reborn into another person, I think it meant he loved her like he loved the monks, not romanticly.
I don't think he got the chance to open his final chakra, and I think it would be very interesting if he couldn't bend because of it. It would certainly be a large obstacle to overcome.

I kinda wanna see Aang go into the Avatar State because of Zuko. But not because Zuko attacked him, like he would before. I want him to go Avatar State to protect Zuko.
I feel lonely. Why is no one posting in here?

In all honesty, I don't think Aang knows what true love is. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he's too immature or anything, I just don't think Aang has had enough... experience? I believe Katara's one of the first girls he's come in contact, being a monk n' all. And plus, he spend so much time with her and Sokka; I can see how he gained his crush on her, but I think that that's all it is. A crush.

I feel kinda bad for Aang! I mean, when I was 12, the most I had to worry about was whether I was going to remember to do my homework or not! Aang has to save the world, reunited the four (er- three) nations, and return balance to civilazation. And he still has the energy to put a smile on his face. Cheesymuffins In all honesty, I don't think Aang knows what true love is. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he's too immature or anything, I just don't think Aang has had enough... experience? I believe Katara's one of the first girls he's come in contact, being a monk n' all. And plus, he spend so much time with her and Sokka; I can see how he gained his crush on her, but I think that that's all it is. A crush.
Plus, the Guru said the love he had for the airbenders is reborn into his love for Katara, right? Well, wouldn't that mean he loves her like monk Gyatso and the others? Like a member of his family?
And, no, Zuko would not be pleased if he was saved by his twelve-year-old arche nemesis. That would probably be a bit humiliating

Maybe he is really in love for Katara. But that doens't necessarily means that Katara love him that way. And poor Katara! If she seriously doesn't like him that way and he confesses to her, how is she suppose to say no? If she says no, she's just sent the avatar, the 12 year old whos suppose to save the world, down a spiraling circle of depression. Is she suppose to love him just to protect him from that?

No, you're right in what you're saying, I got used to Aang with hair and was sad when he shaved it off. sad And he did resemble Zuko for a little while especially the whole "I need my honor back" thing. Katara said something that made me think of what happened between her and Zuko. "I'm so sad and angry, and hurt..." I've looked at that statement before, too. I don't think she's talking abut him in that specific moment (unless it's just by-product from his betrayal that intensified her feelings when her father returned), but in 312 she definately displays those feelings. More anger than sadness, though.

I wouldn't worry too much about the hair - Katara wants an original, not a replica. xDOkay first, LOVE YOU ZUKO SIG! One of most favorite lines uttered from anyone evr. Second, don't we all want the original and third everyone seems to be moving in on Zuko's awseome line. Sokka said them same honor line too. Some one needs to inform these people that no matter how much they want to, they can't be as cool or as awseome as Zuko.
