So, let's talk about Katara. What do you think happened to her mom and village? Will she forgive Zuko? How will her feelings and relationships with other character's develop in the next season?

I really like Katara. She's one of my favourite characters, actually. I'm not sure why I love her, I just do.
I think her village was probably raided a few years ago, and her mother probably got killed while trying to protect Katara and Sokka. I'm kinda hoping we get more information on her this season, though. At least a flashback scene.
I think she'll forgive Zuko, given time and the right situations. Afterall, if she ever found out how he got his scar or why he chases Aang, she'd be a lot more sympathetic towards him. It'll definately take time, though.

Has anyone else noticed that Katara doesn't seem to completely hate the Fire Nation? At least not as much as Sokka, which is weird considering how they took her mother away from her. Maybe her mother was killed trying to protect Katara and some random firebender saw this and felt bad/was reminded of his family and protected Katara from the others until the raid was over by hiding her.
I don't know, just a theory sweatdrop

I think she was she was burned to dead in front of the village burning_eyes crying
Will she forgive Zuko?
Yes because there would be no more Zutara ... and Katara like Zuko
How will her feelings and relationships with other character's develop in the next season?
I think they r going to the firenation once aang get healed
and they see Zuko and Katara fights him but then she could kill
Zuko but she can't so she heals Zuko and then the gang and Zuko take
down Azula. (didn't real answer the question)
