Hello there everyone. My name's Key, I'm fairly new to Gaia, well really new. I started on February 1st. I've been in this guild for a few days but I'm really shy so I'm just now introducing myself.
A little about me, I am 27. Yeah I'm a bit older than the average Gaian. I've been playing video games since I was six, so that's about 21 years. I also love to read, I will read anything you put in front of me. Except John Grisham type things and mysteries. I love non-fiction. I just recently got into manga. I've been an anime fan for years, but it was just this year that I read Kare Kano and after that I was hooked.
I love music, Coheed and Cambria are my favorite. I have a wide range of tastes. Apparently I ramble when I can't sleep, if you read all this I'll give you a cookie.
I just hope to make some new friends.

welcome to the guild Key! glad you decided to finally join in the conversation.
you'll have to forgive our lack of activity. most of the members are still busy with school and other real life activities. hopefully we'll pick up during the summer. wink
and age doesn't matter on gaia as long as you're having fun, and not trying to pick up youngsters to take home with you. blaugh wink I'm 23 myself. 3nodding

All I have is virtual cookies, but the good thing about those is that they come in any flavor you want. razz
I play just about any game, but I'm not that good at racing or FPS's. I prefer RPG's, RTS, Sims, and survival horror. My favorite anime is Serial Experiments Lain, and FLCL. I also love Trigun, Naruto, Cowboy Bebop, Excel Saga, Candidate for Goddess, Hellsing, and so on. Manga wise Kare Kano, Tsuba Reservoir Chronicles, Peach Girl and it's spinoffs, Clover, Chobits, From Far Away, Fruits Basket.
@Autumn Don't worry I'm not here to pick up younguns. I'm engaged actually, to someone my own age. rofl I understand about the school and real life activities, unfortunately all I have is work right now. School doesn't start again for me until fall.

Wow. So you prefer the more violent, fighting type animes and prefer to read the more fictional, shoujo mangas?

Kai: Ooh! Pie! I wouldn't mind a slice right now. :] <3 I rotate, right now I'm reading 4-8 of Fruits Basket, when I'm done with that I'm gonna catch up on anime. I work from about 5-11 as a housekeeper for office buildings and since I'm done with college for this semester I've got some extra time. And you know I never realized that before about the manga and anime diffrences. I was never much into shoujo until I read Kare Kano, then my sister got me into Peach Girl, and it just kinda went from there. Kai: I loooooove pie. More than cookies actually. To everyone that wanted cookies, *gives muchos virtual cookies* clairafornia: I have not read Inkheart, what's it about? My favorite book is etiher House of Leaves, or Crank. My friends tell me that if we watch a movie and I fall asleep they'll turn it off and I'll start laughing.

Wow, I guess that makes my welcome REALLY late! lol, but I joined after you did, so....lol, backwards welcome! haha. I just had to say as I was reading I'm like Me too! Me too! lol. I didn't realize that Autumn was the oldest here @ 23 before you.....when is your birthday? Mine's on June 4th & I'm 27 too...so if yours is after that does that make me the oldest one here now? razz I Feels like a granny...
