A friend (the one who's loaned me "GitS: SAC" aswell) loaned me Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 recently. I'd thought that I wouldn't get into it, but I did! xd
Priss is so much like myself to be perfectly honest. Linna's determination is amusing, whereas Nene just tops it all off.

Ah. Well I've heard of this one but I'm not too sure if I should buy it. Funny though. For a while, when I first started into anime and manga, I thought this was a part of the Burn Up seires.

I was told the old series is better than the newer version, but I've only watched the new one (Tokyo 2040). It IS well worth the money. Nene is just amusing.

I just realized Ninjadon said "cyber punk classic". Hahah. That reminds me of the GitS commercial for AS.

Sorry for the randomness. I do remember thinking that this series was a Hentai from the name when I first was getting my feet wet with anime.

Does it matter whether you watch the old one or the 2040 one first??

Nope it doesn't matter. If you do watch the Old one though there as second part to the series call Bubblegum Crash which was good tool.
