The whole scene with the kid saying he had questioned his faith, and it made him feel guilty? Yeah, that was like torture. "Remember kids....thoughts are bad."

Yeah, that's why I'd let my children explore religion (any religion as long as it didn't involve a recluse leader and koolaid) as opposed to being indoctrinated into something like that
