Who do u think would win in a fight between Dante from Devil May Cry and Squall in a fair fight with no demon transformation?

It would be close, provided we are not going with the above mentioned demon forms or Limit Breaks. The guns might keep Squall at bay for a moment or two, but Squall can deal more damage in melee with the vibrations from the Gunblade. However, this is assuming you don't give Squall magic. Give him magic and Squall has the upper hand.

You do realize you're comparing what boils down to the spawn of Satan fighting an emo kid, right? Squall was awesome. Great character. But since, you know, Dante CAN BE SHOT IN THE FACE AND JUST RUB THE WOUND AWAY, it wouldn't be much of a fight.
Gunblade kinda loses it's effect when you shoot/stab someone and they laugh at you.
Dante would win. No contest.
Squall's cool, but just not some invulnerable warrior. And he can't dodge bullets. So yeah. Dante would just shoot him in the face and it'd be over in all of about 6 seconds.

Dante can be shooted in plain head and he doesn't care. Squall not. So ( my heart is crying ) Dante will surely win.

Yeah, Dante would win.
UNLESS.
If they were both thrown into an arena where it was fair, where they had equal abilities and strengths, I think Squall would win.
Case in point. V
Dissidia Final Fantasy. That game has both Cloud and Squall in it. Logically, Cloud would win. But his abilities in the game are lessened so that he's become equal as the other characters, Mako-infused or not.
I own Dissidia, and have both Squall and Cloud fighting at Level 100 (Master Level), and Squall ALWAYS wins. Only just.
So, if Dante were placed in the same situation as Cloud has been, once again I think Squall would win. Bias aside, I think Squall's the better swordsman without the help of a gunpowder explosion to the face helping him.

i know that this has already been stated, but it would all depend on the circumstances of the fight, magic, guns and all that, but i still think that Dante would win, as much as i love Squall, Dante does have demon blood, and he gets stabbed at least once in every game and still lives, whereas Squall does not have any regenerative powers
