Kingdom Hearts II great game. What do you need to know. I've beaten it a couple of times. I'll try to give you help as best I can.

The idea of this thread is to give any experience you have had with the game so that those that might be looking might have a better idea with how to pass it easier.

Ok, something I didn't realize until I was at the end of beating KH2 for, like, the 5th time >.< Whenever you can, level up in Drive forms. Doing this can gove Sora's normal mode many different abilities, like gliding, high jump, floating dodge thing, stuff like that. And each time you level up and you already have, say, the glide ability, it upgrades, making it stronger (Or I believe this happens, I haven't played in a while.) When you level up in Drive forms, I think it's called Growth Points. If you have the KH2 guide book, there is a section on this in there. It should be in the list of drives.

empress dee Okay, what I want to know is, what is the benefit for collecting items for the moogles? I love the moogle shops and I always seem to try and collect the items there. For example, dark shards I need 30, I think... The significance of bringing them items is that they make items out of the things. Like, you get the Ultima Weapon, the strongest keyblade, from the Moogles synthesizing shops. You also get tons of accessories, things like power ups (AP, strength, defense), and you can also synthesize weapons.

Have you ever made the ultima weapon?
I thought gathering the materials was hard to get...
Should I make a list of materials needed for each thing?

One of the things that is required to make the Ultima Weapon is 13 Orchalium+ but there is one problem...there are only seven total in the entire game. First find all the Orchalium+ pieces and then level up your moogle synthesis to the level where you can half the number of ingredients. Just remember that you need to have the recipe and the proper number of the other required ingredients. The recipe should tell you what is required.

Ooh, that's an interesting tip, Rock.
Like, do you know the locations of the Orichalcum + pieces? It would make it easier for players to know where they are located.
Examples: In treasure chests or *name* enemy.

I have the guide books for both KH1 and KH2, so I'll post how you can get Orichalcum+ in KH2. I haven't made the Ultima Weapon, but I have a Code Breaker disk that gives me a cheat to it XD But, when you cheat, it's not the same as getting it yourself. But it's still a heck of a lot faster!!!!! This post is making me wanna play KH2, so thats where i'll be!!!! >.<

Ok, here is the list. And, just so you know, you can get codebreaker discs at most video game stores. Moogle Shop Synthesis: Obtain all material types Chests: Space Paranoids: Central Computer Mesa Twilight Town: Sunset Terrace (L4) The World That Never Was: The Brink of Despair 100 Acre Wood: Finish Starry Hill Atlantica: Finish 'A New Day Is Dawning' Olympus Colosseum: Finish Goddess of Fate Cup You can't buy or sell these, just use them in the making of Ultima Weapon. Also, here is a list of how to get the regular Orichalcum. Enemies: Bulky Vendor (10% with Capsule Prize, 12% with Rare Capsule, 16% with Limited Capsule, 18% with Prime Capsule) Shops: All Moogle Shops Chests: 100 Acre Wood: Kanga's House, The Spooky Cave The Land of the Dragons: Throne Room Port Royal: Ship Graveyard Seadrift Keep Twilight Town: Underground Concourse, Tunnelway, Mansion Library The World That Never Was: Fragments Crossing, Nothing's Call, Naught's Skyway, Ruin and Creation's Passage
Just ask me if you need a list of anything from either game, because I have guidebooks for each. l_~

Now that is an interesting list.
I had been curious... about the gummi ship games here. I know for this game you have to beat certain levels to unlock certain ships and gummis. Is there a way to customize ships?
If I remember, there is a tutorial for it, but I want to know if you can or not. Like how can you customize one?

Hey! Hey! Hey! Kingdom Hearts is one of those games you just can't cheat on. Y--you just don't do it...besides it's a simple game that doesn't require cheats. In KH1 it took training but I was able to beat Sephiroth and collect all the missing puppies.

...
...
But using a guide book has never been out of the question. XP
