Rules: 1) The GAs run the thread. They are gods. If you piss them off, they have the power to smite you with the full power of the force. Continuation of provokative acts will result in banishment.
2) literacy is recieved with acceptance. Illiteracy and chatspeak are not. One liners are to be used rarely.
3) Gaia rules apply.
4) You MAY NOT have Force sensitivity. We randomly give it out. if you don't like it, i will refer you to reread rule #1.
5) Do not go overboard with posting. We don't want to loose people in the process, so several posts a day will do. Nobody likes having to read 40 pages to catch up because they missed a day. Don't do it, and you won't have to be left behind when you miss either...
6) Please use black or dark fonts. Don't make us squint because you wanted the white font.

Story: (Current events)
This story has concluded.
The Non-Force Sensitive Bios will be set up like this:
Name: Age: (must be older than 21, or no drinking.) Gender: (just do it) Race: (anything you want, just remember what you are, and half-breeds are not allowed) Main weapon: (not lightsaber. You''re not a jedi) Side weapon: (lightsaber allowed, but you can''t block with the saber like jedi) Affiliation: (rebs, imps, or freelance) *Short History: (not too revealing now...) Description: (not "avi")
*optional
these must be PMed and APPROVED by a GA (Nelo mostly). Look for your bio in the Personel thread. Do not begin posting.
Force Sensitive Bio Version 1.04:
Name: Age: Gender: Race: Force Affiliation: (light or dark) Lightsaber color: Secondary weapon: (if any?) Preferance: (lightsaber or force) Lightsaber Style: (dependent on rank and preference) Skills: Description: Bio: (optional)
Padawan/Apprentice: Everyone starts off as a youngling. You must be trained by a knight. Your skills are non-existant mostly. So you start off:
-No force powers, but gain one or two per planet, depending on time spent.
-No using dual or poleblades until knighthood, and using only Style 1.
-Must choose preferance for the force or the lightsaber. see below.
1)Preference:
This is the style which you fight. It determines some factors, though remember what you will be using before you hastily decide. You will be stronger in one, but not by leaps and bounds, so don''t get too wild. In example, a padawan who chooses lightsaber will be ranked about 2 out of 10, while their force powers are ranked 1 out of 10.
Lightsaber: You are more skilled with a lightsaber, and tend to me more aggressive to get to a fight. You handle the sabers with more efficiency than a normal student, but that doesn''t mean you are god. Your dexterity has left you slightly lacking in force skills. You will have a slight edge in battle with your saber, but that doesn''t mean you will win. Bonus: Handling of lightsabers and fighting techniques for closer combat in confined spaces, and use of duals or poleblades at knighthood.
Force: You will have more stamina when using the Force, and you will be more powerful when using them. While less adept with the lightsaber, your Force skills more than make up for it. Bonus: Better sensing and tune with force and more powerful techniques.
As said before, you will also learn one to two skills per planet. You can choose from (description later):
-Force Push/Pull -Force Jump -Force Levitate -Force Speed -Mind Probe -Force Persuade -Force Heal -Force Absorb -Battle meditation -Force Lightning -Dark Craze -Force Choke
Skills Description:
You may pick 4 at your leisure. YOU MAY NOT PICK ANY MORE! YOU CAN ONLY USE THE FOUR YOU PICKED! (this helps balance skills, instead of being uber-leet at everything...)
Push/Pull: This skill is a duh. You can push or pull one unwilling opponent.
Jump: Ability to jump higher and farther, as well as land with better control from high distances.
Speed: This is you on Crank. You are insanely fast, but only in dire times. You will almost run faster than a laser.
Levitate: Allows you to pick up inanimate objects and throw them, such as a rock or your lightsaber.
Mind Probe: Search someone''s thoughts and feelings and maybe discover somethign of interest.
Force Persuade: Not quite a mindtrick or mindcloud yet, you can still influence people to a small degree using this skill. It will not affect the strong of mind, and the weak of mind only are influenced, not controlled.
Heal: Everybody needs a little healing sometime. Not as good as bacta, but great first aid. However, this is not an instant process. Healing takes time, so use sparringly.
Force Absorb: Takes most Force attacks and absorbs them, aka deflect them.
Battle Meditation: By meditating, the Jedi can forsee incoming attacks before some happen, and have a chance to block more. It also works on a larger scale, influencing those allies around you to be more confident, and boost morale.
Dark Craze: A technique that drains you until battle is over or you pass out. Speed, dexderity, strength, and focus increase.
Lightning: Go Palpantine on tha fool! Self-explanitory. Only effective against one person.
Choke: Works on more than just choking, but who cares? Can be used to pick up living objects and throw them as well. So technically it''s grip...
Lightsaber styles are limited. You''re stuck with Form 1:
Shii-Cho - The most basic techniques, the basics of attack, parry, body target zones, and the practice drills called velocities are all here. Pretty much stuck with anything you can use. Effective if honed, especially against multiple opponents, but overall weak.
Jedi/Sith Knights: You have passed the Jedi or Sith trials, and have passed. Now you are a knight. You have four skills at your disposal, but due to your limited knowledge, you can only use those four. Fortunately, your skills have increased. Also, your preference builds here. If you picked lightsaber as a skill, you''d be ranked 6 out of 10 with the saber, but your force powers stay at 5 out of ten.
-Have four skills at their disposal -Take orders from the council or lords -Can train apprentices and become masters. -Can change their form from form 1 to another:
Form 2: Makashi - An old style rarely used by the jedi. One studies the precise manipulation of the blade, making them very strong against another lightsaber wielder. However, in this present day and age, blasters and other weapons are used, and the precise manipulation of blades cannot counter nearly as well as it should. Sith should consider this form, if expecting many duels with jedi. Dooku used this style.
Form 3: Soresu - The all around Defensive style. Unlike form 2, this style is quite adept at blocking lasers. It is widely reguarded that form 3 is even invincible once mastered, as it depends on effecient movements and precise control to block blasters and lightsabers. The only downside is that the form is not for offense, rather, it is stronger when redirecting a blaster or attack back at the opponent. Obi-Wan preferred this style.
Form 4: Ataru- Unlike Form 3 and it''s lack of exposure, Form 4 does the opposite. Using acrobatic movements and the force to move as much as possible, its defense relies more on evading rather than blocking. Mastery makes the user a blur, and only the strongest can defend against it. Yoda and Qui-gon both used this technique.
Form 5: Shien- Focusing on offensive, this style is basically pound the s**t out of the opponent. While form three is defensive, soemtimes it cannot overpower the opponent. Shien takes this, and using many defensive abilities from three, allows to push through. However, it sacrifices some defence for this. Widely reguarded as a domination style, Vader embodied this style.
Form 6: Niman- The diplomatic style, 6 incorporates all styles 1-5. Very flexible in its usage, Niman is very useful where one does not know what to expect. In knowing all the other styles, however, it isn''t as focused, making it have no other distinct advantage.
Certain skills upgrade upon knighthood. These skills are:
Force Push > Force Wave Force Speed > Force Sprint Force Persuade > Jedi Mindtrick/ Sith Mindcloud Force Lightning > Force Storm
Descriptions:
Force Wave: A skill much like push, this skill can fire a "wave" of force energy, and knock all people down in that general direction.
Force Sprint: A skill that exceeds Force Speed. Using all the energy in a quick burst, one is able even to outrun a blaster... for a short distance.
Mind trick: *waves hand* You will not fight me. Doesn''t work on powerful minds. Can make people bend to do actions.
Sith Mindcloud: Much like the Jedi mindtrick, you can make weak minds do your bidding. But unlike the mindtrick, it is by confusion instead of clarity.
Force Storm: Even more powerful than lightning, this not only targets more than one opponent, but has more range, and covers a greater area than lightning.
Jedi Masters/Sith Lords: The pinnacle of the force users. Each has mastered their side of the force to an artform. Their skills have grown to match their knowledge, making them a force NOT to be contended with without proper knowledge or equiptment and a feeling of kamikaziness. In such, Masters:
-know all the moves of the force (excluding the opposite side). -Can still take apprentices, or even help knights grow in strength. -Preferance can be neutral so lightsaber and force skills rank 8/10, or bolster their knowledge further with one being 10/10 and 6/10. -Can learn the last lightsaber form. -Can learn one ultimatum move, as proof of their superior knowledge.
Form 7: Juyo or Vaapad- Mace Windu''s own style, it is styles 1-6, but better. It is by far the most powerful, but relatively fresh and undiscovered. In fact, only Mace Windu himself had ever come close to mastering it. The downside is the complexity of the style can take decades to learn, and thus, many prefer to master another style. If learned though, the style will be bold, powerful, demanding, but not flashy. Only one word can describe it: Overwelming.
Ultimatum Moves:
Force Sphere: A neutral Force move, it involves creating a bubble of sorts, and pushing all objects away from the user in all directions for about 50 feet. Basically: Force push, except 360 degrees.
Force Shield: Another Neutral skill, the user may choose to put forth a combination of levitate, push, and absorb in a concentrated attack that works effectively against all incoming projectiles, much like a shield.
Jedi Lightning: The jedi learned how to use force lightning, and not as an aggressive attack either. While limited to use only in extreme circumstances, the jedi''s lightning is green, and cannot kill. However, it will stun instantaneously, giving the jedi a chance to run or capture his opponent.
Force Feedback: The limited nature of force absorb is limited to only absorbing or deflecting the attack of lasers and force moves. However, a trained master can capture, and then redirect the attack right back at an opponent. However, many times this creates a deadlocked battle, turning the battle into a lightsaber dual instead of a force battle.
Drain life: A true sith skill, the sith lord can drain life out of his opponent, and convert it back to him. However, this does not work all of the time, and the target must be weakened to have any real effect as well.
Mind Shift: A skill used by sith lords who would rather use deception and trickery than direct confrontation. Sith Lords with this skill can literally seperate their spirtual entities including the force out of their corporal husk. They can either sit tight, not move their bodies, and basically etherally travel like ghosts to places, or remote control their bodies and not be sensed through unnatural means.
EDIT: All non-force users who wish their main weapon to be melee based, remember these rules.
1) You may not use a lightsaber as a primary weapon. Period.
2) if you use a vibrosword as a primary, and you wish to challenge a jedi or sith with a lightsaber, the jedi/sith always will win the duel, as they are honed masters of the sword.
2) you will not be able to deflect laser blasts with the vibroswords, as that is a jedi/sith skill. You will only be able to dodge incoming fire.
And for your people who are curious, the Jedi and Sith Code:
Jedi: There is no emotion; there is peace There is no ignorance; there is knowledge There is no passion; there is serenity There is no chaos; there is harmony There is no death; there is only the force
Sith: Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me.

Okay. After my next post, the offical RP will begin.
Some last things to touch up on.
This may get to involve a lot of people. Please, do not go overboard with the massive posting.
Post NO MORE THAN 4 posts a page, as of now. I think this will allow for everyone to get involved as good as possible. Until we get a flow going, this is in effect. (( Edit: this is no longer in effect))
SECOND, and MOST IMPORTANTLY:
In this RP, there are what i call "safe zones". Since people will be after one another, there is places which nobody, under any circumstance, will be able to kill, hurt, or spy on affairs.
Such things are: Jedi Temples, Sith Temples, Headquarters. These places are where you can rest you char without fear of harm.

Neb stared at the stars from on board the Khar-selim. He was in the transport, heading once again to the legendary planet of Courosaunt. It had been years since the Battle of Endor was fought, and the capital of the universe was freed. He stared, and let his mind open to what had happened in the years after being accepted into the praxium, learning the ways of the force, and how he had finally acomplished becoming a knight.
He sipped his drink and stared at the planet, which was growing. They would be able to land on the planet in about another 3 or 4 hours, but it was time to kill as of now. His garb was symbolic, as people continued to stare and whisper, as though he was out of touch. He looked at the star systems once again.
"My God. It's full of stars..."

Lyle walked around the ship looking at all the people on it. He was looking for a target but couldn't find him. He pulled out his communicator. "Livana. Have you found him yet?" He asked her.

"I'm pretty sure....I mean I saw him walk onto the ship." Lyle said to her as he kept looking around. Then he suddenly saw his target. "I see him...He's on the 3rd floor running in your direction." He said as he began to chase the target that was running away.

"Mission accomplished" Lyle said as he looked at Zaff Bathrin's corpse. "Well, that 5,000 Credit pay was way too easy to obtain." Lyle relaxed a little. "now we just need to move the body." Lyle pucked up the body and lifted it up over his sholder and began walking back to their room.

Neb jerked his head up. Something had awoken him. He quickly forgot about it, and noticed the small eatery was empy for the moment. He felt around his hip for his coin purse and lightsaber. With a sigh of relief, he found them to be there.
"I wonder what it was like before the age of the New Republic, the Empire, and back in the good days of light. Master Yoda and the rest of the council must have been some fun, as they are always so highly talked of."
He got up, and marched out into the cold, grey hallways, with windows showing space and if one watched closely enough, the spinning of the station.

"Wait a minute, This tug is going WHERE?!" Cale Darksun shouted at the Crewman. The Duros spacer blinked his red eyes and answered "You heard me Fringer, Coruscant. Heart of the galaxy. Now if you don't mind pal, I got to get back to work. We reach orbit in a couple hours." "Aww sith." Cale Muttered. "Coruscant. thousands of ships could have picked up my pod, and it HAD to be the one going to Coruscant." He spit on the floor and stuck his hands in his pockets. "Maybe if I'm lucky I can jump ship. rather take my chances in space then on the Burecrat's homeworld." he turned around and walked back down the corridor.

"Damn. Weapon restrictions, background checks, how am I going to leave the place?" The outlaw mused as he tred the metal grating of the deck. "Then I got to put up with all those snooty Coruscanti. 'oh, we live on Coruscant! The politics of the galaxy rotate on our descisions! We're the Cosmopolitan Center of all republic space! doo dee doo dee doo!' Bunch of stuck up Coreworld nerfherders." He turned a corner and muttered more complaints about Coruscant under his breath and cursing his own misfortune for being so deep in the core in the first place. "Should have listened to my own damn rule : There's nothing but trouble past the Inner Rim." he sighed and was just about to round another corner when he heard voices up ahead. "Mission accomplished. Well, that 5,000 Credit pay was way too easy to obtain. Now we just need to move the body." Cale slowly peeked around the bulkhead. in the next corridor were a pair of humans and a decapitated corpse. bounty hunters, or worse, assasins. Cale thought. tough luck pal. The outlaw decided to let the killers finish their work in peace and started to slink back the way he came.
