Tribe of Amores
Test thread
This is just the test thread for the Tribe of Amores. It isn't official yet. I'm making this so that I know how many people are interested.
If you are interested, get RPing.
(If these sorts of threads aren't allowed anymore, please delete this. ^^;
Or if anything in the thread is not allowed/suitable, please tell me so I can change it. ^^; )

Background
The Tribe of Amores is an ancient tribe, dating back to the dawn of the Modifoxes. Its current state isn’t its highest peak, but it still lives.
According to legend, the Modifoxes of a certain region were always hateful to each other. They did not know how to love or care for one another. Because of this, they got into huge and bloody brawls easily, often one or more Modis getting killed. It also didn’t help that a kit was a rare thing, since breeding was near to impossible if they hated the guts of each other.
The Goddess, Adora, was extremely unhappy when she found out about the little band of Modifoxes. Her reign was that of love, emotions, and compassion. So she, of course, can help them.
Adora descended down to one particular Modifox, Amor. He had heart markings all over his body, despite the fact that he was one of the most vicious Modis among them.
Adora whispered that he was the chosen one to bring these Modifoxes to a new age. All he had to do was to follow her directions, and he’ll be the ruler of them.
Amor agreed of course. He paid attention to her words, and carefully followed them out.
((It is unknown what the words were. They’ve been lost through the sands of time. But we do know that Adora commanded Amor to construct a large statue of her out of marble. Of course, one normal Modifox couldn’t do it alone, so she granted him with unimaginable strength. Amor finished the statue within days, and called the other Modifoxes forth.
How the statue helped Adora’s plan is also unknown.))
Adora’s plan worked, and the Modifoxes were united under Amor. He was granted the rank of Elder to lead the new tribe, called Amores, after the leader.
~This is just a little while back from the present time~
The Tribe of Amores has reached its prime state. There were thousands of members under the rule of Amor. ((Not the same Modifox, mind you. And not the current Amor I have.)) The only recent trouble was a vicious female, and she was outcasted by the leader.
Then, the fire struck.
No one knew who caused it. But it was devastating to the whole entire tribe. Almost everyone was killed, including the Elder and his mate. Only a miniscule amount of them escaped, one of them being the heir of the tribe, Amor. ((And that’s my Amor. XP))
So the current surviving Amor was scarred for life by the fire. He vowed to rebuild the tribe, after settling into a new land…

Map GeographyThe Tribe of Amores is located in a lush evergreen forest near the mountains. It is bumpy and full of rolling hills. Many places, the sun doesn’t shine. But where it does, it is a sight to see. The main camp is located in the center of the forest, where it is actually the thinnest. The fire has destroyed much of the camp, so Amor is currently trying to rebuild it. There is some progress, but not much. A slab of marble with a charcoal drawing of Adora’s symbol is in the center of the camp, as a substitute for the lost statue. Some other points of interest:
Lake of Reflection: A large lake near the camp, untouched by the fire. You can see your reflection in it, no matter what the condition. It is a water supply for the tribe, as well as serving religious purposes. It houses the Island of Salvation, and several rivers run out of the lake. Island of Salvation: A small island in the middle of the Lake of Reflection. It has a few sparse trees, but it’s most major attracting is a large rock hill in the middle of the island, called Adora’s hill. It is said that Adora descended onto the hill to confront Amor, and it’s the only place she can come down. Therefore, Modifoxes of the Amores call down Adora there. The Pillar of Purist Stone: A part of the mountain that contains the finest marble. Amor used this to construct Adora’s statue. It is far away from the camp, and most Modifoxes don’t venture there because of the vicious creatures along the path. Peak of Riches: A peak high up in the mountains containing precious metals and jewels. It is even more difficult to reach because it has no path leading to it. Whoever comes back with a decent amount of riches alive is deemed an extremely heroic and brave Modifox. Feuding Meadows: A large meadow where the sun shines down it constantly. The fallen pine needles on the ground reduce impact. Therefore, this meadow is used for fighting or training warriors.

The Modification The symbol of the Tribe of Amores is Adora’s symbol, as pictured above. It consists of three hearts, the Infatuated (arrowed) heart, the Loving (full) Heart, and the Shattered (broken) Heart. They resemble the three stages of love, the first step being to fall in love, the next it to love to the fullest, and the last being to break off the love.  (Fear my crappy art skillz. XP)
The symbol is used in the earring and can symbolize the breedings and loves of a Modifox. The earring is all three hearts connected, and is received when someone first joins. The color of the earring and the metal can be changed. The above earring is NOT the standerd earring, just one that shows the design. It is encouraged to chose the colors that fits with the Modifox best. In the case that the Modifox cannot have the modification attached to the ear, it may be attached to the tail, leg, or anywhere else suitable. If the Modifox cannot wear a piercing at all, he or she may have a tattoo, though that should only be done if it's absolutly nessecary.

The Tribe Culture

The Statue of Adora
The most precious relic among the Amores is the statue of Adora, made out of the finest white marble the world has to offer. The base of the statue is laced with gold, silver, and copper, with mysterious symbols made with the metals on it. The most prominent symbol is Adora’s symbol, a chain of three hearts. The Infatuated heart, the Loving Heart, and the Shattered Heart.
The Adora part of the statue resembles the Goddess Adora, who saved the ancestors of the Amores. She is the picture perfect Modifox, with a long flowing mane and tail, slender body, and serene eyes. It is said that a strange aura emits from the statue, one that calms anyone near it. Modifoxes would be more likely to fall in love near the statue than anywhere else.
The last time the statue was seen was in the possession of the Amores. Since the fire, the statue’s whereabouts are unknown.
(I have no pretty picture to show you, so you will have to deal with it.)
The Tribe Elder
The Elder acts as a king or queen. They have absolute authority, but they must be wise with their actions, for Adora is always watching. If the members feel that the Elder isn’t suitable, they may overthrow him/her or try to call down the goddess.
The name of the tribe leader is always Amor or Amora, depending on the heir’s gender. The heir is always the current leader’s eldest child, though another child of the Amor bloodline can challenge the current heir. In that case, if the heir backs down, the challenger is next in line to become the Elder.
If the challenge becomes more of a fight and bloodshed, the elder will call down Adora to make the final decision.
Because it would be strenuous to have multiple Modifoxes of the same name, each Amor or Amora usually has a surname. They can only be called by the surname if there is other Amor/Amora. ((The full name of the current Amor is Amor Divineaus.))
The Tribe Society
The Tribe of Amores is consisted of many kinds of Modifoxes. Anyone can be accepted, as long as they are willing to respect everyone, and not get into fights and arguments.
The Tribe is focused mainly on relationships and breeding.
Elder – The Tribe leader. Dur. XP
Hunter – A Modifox that hunts food for the tribe. They can also double as a warrior in times of need.
Shaman – The Modifox that takes care of sick members. They also serve a religious role, as they also communicate with Adora through dreams and help keep the religious order in line. Like a pope if you will.
Gatherer – These gathers anything that needs to be gathered. Food, herbs, veggies, goods, etc.
Scout – A scout is the runner of the tribe. They deliver messages, relay news, and scout foreign territory. They can also act as… spies?
Carer – A Modifox that takes care of kits and BCRs. They also teach them the ways of the tribe.
Tribe Member – Just a regular Modifox of no important role. They lounge around… eat up the food supply… sleep… annoy others… breed… stuff like that.
((This is a modified list of Sapphy’s list of roles, specified for this tribe. XP))
All Modifoxes of all ranks can breed with each other. But Modifoxes with higher ranks ((Shaman and Elder)) will have to be more careful on who they mate and breed with. Would it be a good sign if the leader bred with a sleazy Modifox? XP

Amor, the next and only heir of the Tribe of Amores, stood amoung the ashy ruins of the camp. Even though the fire happened months ago, there are a smell of soot in the air, and the chilling wind still kicked up cinders of burnt trees... and something more.
He sighed and shuffled his paws in the remains. There was nothing recgonizable in it, just the black powdery remainder of what was once a great tribe.
The Modifox stood still for a long while, reflecting what that meant. He had delayed too long in starting up the tribe again. Being one of the sparse surviviors, he should've tried to rebuilt the camp harder. The only signs of anything special in these lands was the slab of marble in the middle of the clearing and rocks piled up, resembling a shelter of sorts.
But Amor has done something. Glancing behind him, he watched a light blue female wandering around the desolate campgrounds.
Twilight knew that Amor was hiding some dark secret from the rest of the Modifoxes, but never suspected it was something as big as this. Him being the sole living son of an Elder, of what was once a great tribe. In her mind, that made Amor almost like royality.
She stepped on a stick not burned by the fire, snapping it in half. Surprised by the noise, Twilight stepped back and stood erect, waiting for any other sudden noises. When there was none, she turned away and walked back to Amor.
"This place has a sad feel to it... Why do you have to remake the camp here? It won't be easy clearing out all the ashes."
((If you want to join or something, have your Modifox wander around and stumbled upon the campsite or something. XP;;; ))

Taka wandered forest after forest aimlessly. She was hunting down any prey that could be nearby and sighed, "Man..I haven't seen anything to munch on in ages.." She muttered and wandered on.
Taka started to run when she got a bad feeling of some sort that emenated from the lands now and she started to speed on worriedly. Taka stopped taking a giant breath her tail flickered around rapidly. Taka knew something bad had happened to this land and it was as bad as anything she had ever seen. Or felt. She walked on trying to stay calm and not shout out but she was so close to even doing that!
Soon Taka stopped sitting down and took a deep breath and walked on and soon saw a campsite..Burned it was horrible. "Wh-What happened her? She said scared and backed away afraid now.

Cheyenne wandered through the woods muttering quietly to herself. It had been days since she had seen some food other than meat. As much as she loved meat, she loved fruits and berries much more. "...ages since a decent bush..." she continued muttering. As she walked she came upon a charred landscape, there had been a fire here.

Amor whirled around to find two more Modifoxes standing around the campground, obviously surprised at the state of the land here. He gave Twilight a quick gesture, meaning to wait, before approaching the two females.
"There are a fire. A terrible one that killed many and scarred this area for a long time." He tried not to give away hints that he was still upset about this. "This used to be the land of a great tribe, but it was vanquished in just a night. This was the Tribe of Amores, and I'm rebuilding it."
Amor had no experience greeting newcomers into tribe lands, so he just bowed his head.
Twilight silently scoffed at Amor's stuffy speech. She thought that it was way too overdramatic for answering someone's question.

"These lands will mourn for years to come and so will its leader." Cheyenne said. It was obvious that these two were probably the only ones left from the death of this tribe. "I see you need help," she said, "may I offer my assistance?"

"Help?" Amor was surprised that these two strangers that he just met would offer help. They didn't know anything, but maybe they were sympethetic to what happened to the tribe.
"I need to clean up the remains of what's left. I couldn't do that because of the snow, but now that it melt, I could start... And with your and Twilight's help, it should go faster."
Using his tail as a broom of sorts, Amor brushed a small spot away of ashes. He was slightly disappointed to not find anything, but he shouldn't be expecting any.
Twilight stared at the two Modifoxes, wondering why they offered help. But she shouldn't be pondering that. She should just be glad that they were friendly.
"Yeah... I'm just a friend of Amor. The heir. I'm Twilight. And your names...?"
