Hey everyone,

I know we all LOVE Gundam Wing here at the Preventer Organization- Gundam Wing Guild . But I couldnt help but wonder which of the newest hottest animes we all must have seen or love to watch is the most popular for a gundam wing fans. So I'm taking a poll to see which of the three shows I know are really popular is the best one.

Thanks a lot, hope ppl vote on this. ^_^

i chose naruto because that's the only one i've seen f the three extensively....but i heard bleach is good and i've seen a little bit of Full Metal
(and that would be like less than a full episode). You know there are other anime series besides those like Serial Experiment: Lain and Cowboy Bebop.....which i say are a bit better than the ones listed

I would fully agree with you Alpha Leader but I was thinking of the shows that came out in the last two years. So from my memory Cowboy Bebop came out a few years back and I havent heard of the other show you mentioned Serail Experiment:Lain, but maybe I should add the fact in the last few years to my first post. sweatdrop

My absolute favourite anime is Victorian Romance Emma (Second Act). I love everything about it. From the story to the characters to the setting to the art. And everything is realistic for the time period it's set it. Even though the anime is based off the manga Emma by Kaoru Mori I actually love both. Second Act has re-written anywhere from 50%-75% for the first two episodes so far, yet it stays true to the nature of the manga and actually makes more sense in certain areas.

All around Emma = Love! for me.

Oh, and in your poll I chose Bleach; the rabid fans of Naruto and FMA have lowered my opinion of the anime. The filler for Naruto didn't do anything to help, either stare

I heart Eureka Seven. I picked FMA from your list; I'm still undecided on Bleach, and Naruto kills itself with the fillers, though Shippuden is showing plenty of promise to almost make up for it.

I like Eureka Seven... mostly because I love the way the characters were developed slowly and in different ways, while still making them all seem like real people. A political mecha anime as the background for an almost fairy-tale romance would be an effective way to describe it, and the characters go through a lot in order to make things work. The plot twists, while sometimes cheesy and expected, work well. And I happen to love happy endings, which makes it suit me even more.

For me, currently, I really like Blood+ and a bit of Princess Tutu, however, I've only watched two episodes of it. crying But I seriously fell in love with it.

OKAY new possible favorite in Gungrave. I can't even describe the depth and emotion and the fact that it still manages kick-a** action despite all of that. As in, what I just said is like... almost insulting to it's awesomeness at times >_>

Or maybe it's that I only just watched it recently. It usually takes a month for something that good to wear off enough for me to look at it more calmly.

For the Poll, I'd have to choose Fullmetal. There's just something about that series that captivates me.

But Aona.. I have to FULLY agree with you on Gungrave. IT is my absolute favorite....And as you said, there's no way that you can describe the depth and character development placed into it. @_@

First, XiKeiyaZI and Aona are right. Gungrave is beyond Amazing. there is no way to describe it. for once we have a good main character who can put his guns where his mouth is.

Second, Rurouni Kenshin. Sure, the filler episodes are crap, but when you actually reach the storyline parts, it's no wonder why it's called the King of Sword-Fighting anime. The storyline is...wow. Straight from the beginning you are introduced to the tortured, yet kind and gentle, soul known as Kenshin Himura, a wandering swordsman who is seeking atonement for the sins he commited as the Hitokiri Battousai ten years prior to the story. it has an amazing cast of characters like Sanosuke Sagara (the former fighter-for-hire/best friend of kenshin), Kaoru Kamiya(the local dojo owner who falls for Kenshin), Megumi Takani(the evil-but-not-really she-doctor) and my favorite character Hajime Saito(the captain of the third Shinsengumi unit turned Police officer who still hates Kenshin). There are many others too, but the best thing to come from Kenshin is the Jinchuu/Revenge arc. only the beginning(which takes place before the series starts) and the end are ever animated, but the rest is in the manga. They managed to turn the middle part of the storyline into something that's been called the "Crowning achievement of anime". it's Called Samurai X Trust and betrayal. go watch it.

As for anime I'm currently watching, I'm enjoying a series I've never heard of called Yumeria and the first-ever great video game based anime Devil May Cry. Dear lord it's awesome!

Third, I voted Fullmetal Alchemist because unlike naruto and bleach, I watched it until the end. and it's great. trust me.

Voted for FMA, but I'm generally not a fan of shonen fighting anime like Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, etc.

My personal favorite anime are Gundam Wing (duh) and Code Geass. I've also enjoyed The Big-O, Mazinkaiser, Gaogaigar, Utena, Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragonball, and others that escape me at the moment.

I voted for FMA since it's the only one I've watched consistently (I read Naruto doujinshi, but I can't stand the series. I know, it makes no sense to do that...)

Yuu Yuu Hakusho is the first anime I ever went totally obsessive over (other than DBZ, but that didn't last long compared to YYH). I still read the fanfiction and keep track of what manga they've released.

More recently, I've gotten to where I adore Death Note. I love stories that remind me of the movie Silence of the Lambs (Jodie Foster rules xd ) and Death Note definately qualifies. Super intelligent psyco villans are always a welcome relief from hackneyed bad guys with cheesy plots to take over the world. Though Light's plan isn't horribly original...but I never said that! The characters in DN are facinating, and I swear 90% of them have a genuine psycological problem. Now if YouTube will just stop removing the episodes so I can watch the rest of the series...

Samurai X is the most-watched DVD set on my shelf. I nearly cry every time I watch it, too crying . It's so sad, and so beautiful at the same time. Kenshin is possibly one of my favorite anime characters of all time, and the show Rurouni Kenshin is a classic, in my opinion.

Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop are two incredibly fun, interesting takes on life in a space-faring future, and are both worth a watch. I also recommend for you shonen-ai lovers out there Yami no Matsuei, Sukisyo, and Princess Princess (which isn't really shonen-ai, but it's still really good). I own all of the YnM manga and I'm watching the anime right now (and enjoying it immensely^^). YnM is also called Decendants of Darkness, by the way. Sukisyo is shonen-ai with a PLOT *gasp!*, and I enjoyed watching it, even though it got kind of sad in the later episodes. Princess Princess is just sheer joy xd . Three bishonen at an all-boys school being forced to dress in drag (Gothic Lolita, no less). It's really cute, and a lot of fun to watch.

I voted for FMA because I do like it... but Gundam Wing is my first love, closely followed by Earthian, Loveless, and *blush* The Last Airbender. smile
