.//Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy? .//Introduce yourselfEvery guild's got one; and I'm not making this thread for the sole purpose of following the trend xd We've got it for a reason; to break the ice and to make newer members feel more accepted within the guild whee To start things off, I'll introduce myself; your friendly vice-captain :'D Name (IRL): Ean (pronounced like 'Ian) Bday: 4th September 1990 Location: Malaysia Interests (aside from Queen):- Sleeping: I like to take long naps in the afternoon; pondering, wondering, studying and admiring the often off-beat dreams I have. - Art: Not just visual. I like all forms of art; writing, music, drawing/painting, photography... to be able to create something with just your two hands and a bit of caffeine in your system, it's just a thrilling experience when it comes out better than you've expected. - Fashion: I like to think everyone's different, which is strange for someone like me to indulge in fashion; a business that tends to make everyone conform. I suppose the fashion I like to create is the kind that makes you look twice, to conform and yet at the same time to be who you are. - BJD's: I just think they're damn pretty D: heart Favorite Games: Guilty Gear, Final Fantasy IX, Half-Life, Final Fantasy 1 & 2, Chocobo Racing and Legend of Mana. Other favorite band(s): U2, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Keane, Utada Hikaru, and a few others >w< Favorite member from Queen: A tie between John and Freddie. John is quite unlike any other rocker I've seen, while they all have a wild streak, Deaky is calm and collected, deep in thought, very quiet, very shy. An under-rated star, I just love him so because everytime I hear about him, I'm always reminded of the many sweet and adorable things he's done. And I can relate to Freddie on many things; art, life in general, music, education, etc. I guess...I guess I've always fallen in love with his complex personality all us Virgos seem to have (and those captivating eyes!). I'm quite envious of Kashmira to have such a unique individual as an older brother whee heart Favorite Queen song: Currently a tie between Hammer to Fall, Killer Queen and Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy. Queen phase started when... I heard that the words 'Rock You' on Sol Badguy's (Guilty Gear) headband was related to the song 'We Will Rock You', his hobbies listed includes 'listening to Queen's Sheer Heart Attack album'. I was interested in knowing why Daisuke Ishiwatari (creator and artist for Guilty Gear) chose Queen to base his main character/alter-ego on. I did some research, and I manage to snag a .mid file of 'We Will Rock You'. Fair enough, I listened to it whilst working on my RPG, and I also learned that Freddie was the lead singer. A few days later, an article came up in the newspaper about Live 8 (2 months before the actual thing, I think) and there in all his glory was a blue, monochromic picture of Freddie from Live Aid heart Fell head over heels with that delicious man! I began my search on Wikipedia to find out what I needed to know about Queen. Soon enough my obsession began >w< All thanks to Daisuke-sama :'D Misc:- I'm a 'Mrs.Mercury' mrgreen - Me and Freddie-kins have more similarities between each other it isn't even funny! Long intro stops now xd EDIT: Stickied! xd

Popo-Licious Captain Name: Popo, Celia, Mrs. Taylor Birthday: January 18 (Current Age: 17) Location: Rhye Interests: Art, photography, analyzing people, classic rock, writing, blogging, reading, staring at Roger Taylor photos Other Favorite Band(s): The Beatles, The Eagles, Daft Punk and a wide assortment of other groups who I appreciate on a by-the-song-basis. Favorite Member of Queen and Why: Roger-dear! *hearts* I've always had someone to fall back on when asked who my hero was. But I got to thinking "Wow... They really aren't my hero. I mean, how have they helped me? What have I learned?" Then Roger came into my life, and I was captivated by the way he seemed to stay true to himself. The honesty and truth in most of his songs really made me realize that I shouldn't care what people think, and that I should be myself. Queen phase started when... When I was around seven or so, about nine years ago. My earliest Queen memory is one of my favorites, and marks a special moment in my life. I was in the backseat of what is now today my beloved car (The Bo. Rhap. Mobile, as I want to call it when I can officially drive!) and had my favorite cousin and sister with me. My dad put on Bohemian Rhapsody for like, the fourth time that day, and I recall all of us just falling apart into hysterical laughter. I think as kids we understood the song's fun aspects. All the singing sounded overblown, and the operatics nearly cut off my air supply in those days because I'd be laughing so hard! Anyways, that's the memory of Queen that's been the most lasting and impressionable, so that should sum up when my phase started. Other Favorites: I like the color red and old music; two things that never lose their touch. Miscellaneous: -Wayne's World is a good movie, despite what some people think. Garth is adorable, in that "I have no idea why I'm here" sort of way. It makes me want to go hangout in airport parking lots at night with Lori, Christine and Memai and make super-sonic whistling noises until the big jets come in and nearly blow us off the hood of the car. ...Yeah, it's a good movie. -I have the guts to say that March of the Black Queen is a better song than Bohemian Rhapsody, in my hum~ble o~pin~ion. -Don't stop believin' and Don't mess with Mrs. Taylor!

Name (IRL): Tracy Bday: February 7, 1973 Location: U.S.A. Interests (aside from Queen): Music, surfing the internet, taking care of my houseful of animals, religion studies Favorite Games: Age of Empires, Age of Mythology Favorite member from Queen: Freddie Favorite Queen song: Favorites go in phases for me. Am particularly fond of "In the Lap of the Gods...(revisited)" right now. Queen phase started when... It was only a few years ago, actually...when "A Knight's Tale" came out on dvd, and I heard the opening beats to "We Will Rock You". My husband told me a bit of what he knew about Queen as they were when Freddie was here, and I became curious enough to start researching.
I have come to respect all the members of Queen (though Freddie, in particular) for facing the adversity and being who they are in spite of critics. They've taught me alot about myself....and who I'd like to be, and I am forever greatful.

Bday: 19th March Location: Malaysia Interests (aside from Queen): Being loud, my cat, sleeping Favorite Games: None D: Favorite member from Queen: All of them Favorite Queen song: I'm currently enjoying the song 'Princes of the Universe' Queen phase started when... I remember hearing 'We Will Rock You' on the radio alot, but I never knew who sang it. And then Memai told me about how the words 'Rock You' on Sol Badguy's headband had something to do with the song. She did the researching on the creator and stuff, and told me he was a Queen fan and that 'We Will Rock You' was sang by Queen. Now that I knew that, I thought that they were really awesome. Memai did somemore research on Queen, told me, and I got even more interested. Misc: - I can touch my nose with my tounge mrgreen
-Memai, the keyboard is busted

Please accept my warmest greetings to you all and allow me to introduce myself.....
Name (IRL): Chichi--people *really* do call me that. If not, Mia is fine. Bday: the twenty-first of the month of March, the year one thousand, nine hundred, and ninety Location: The United States of America Interests (aside from Queen): I read. Alot. And write, a little too much though i think. You know its getting bad when you start to think in book format and people describe you as "silent yet eccentric". Other than literature I enjoy the fine arts of the stage and theatre and the musical arts of listening to all types of music (disregarding new age country) and playing the acoustic guitar and piano, I'm a bit behind on my practicing though. Favorite Games: When I do indulge in video games they are most frequently anything by nintendo. Zelda, Mario, Fire Emblem, etc., etc... Other favorite band(s): Dear lord there are so many....too many to name Favorite member from Queen: Because of Popo's influence in the form of being forced to look at the HUGE picture of him in our locker multiple times a school day, I'd have to say Roger. Favorite Queen song: I like Hammer to Fall. Bohemian Rhapsody brings back enjoyably stupid memories of watching 'Wayne's World' though... Queen phase started when... Popo's *obession* began. First it was the small conversations about Queen during lunch. Then it was all the Queen doodles in the notebook. Soon we had a Queen plastered locker. Misc:-
I have to admit that im an against regulation casual fan. I'll learn though, I'll learn!

Name (IRL): Victoria, but I prefer Torey. Location: Utah. Birthday: 24 July, 1991. Interests (Other than Queen): In my free time, I like to write, draw (even though I'm horrible), and hang out with my friends. I love to take pictures, that's the kind of art I'm capable of. I also play a vareity of different instruments, though the bass (electric or upright) is my favourite. I like anything... old. Vintage, retro, antique. Yeah. I'm a card shark player, shitty tennis player, and dabble in lacrosse. Favourite Games: Well... I have a playstation. My games tend to be more limited now that I can't find any games for the system anymore. I like FF8, Spryo, Crash Bandicoot, racing games, etc. I play the Sims and board games on the computer. Other Favourite Bands: Cheap Trick, OK Go, Bing Crosby, The Beatles, Blink 182, etc. I'm pretty excentric when it comes from music. Everything from 1900's show tunes to present rock. Favourite Member: Roger is actually my favourite member. I couldn't say he's my hero, per se. But he has inspired me, along with the other members, to take up the instruments that I play. He's also very intellectual and lives life to it's fullest. Favourite Queen Song: "It's Late", "The March of the Black Queen" Queen Phase Started When: Oh wow... Probably when I was about 2 or 3. I used to dance around in my diaper singing, or at least attempting to sing songs of Greatest Hits 1. In fact.. There's a video of it somewhere. Anyway, I've loved Queen ever since. Sounds odd, I know. Misc.: I prefer to be called Torey instead of Fairy... I'm just odd like that. wink * Personally, I don't really think "Bohemian Rhapsody" is their best song. Sure, it was the song that made them a big band, but it's not their best. * I'm in love with the Marx Brothers... Especially Harpo and Chico. * I'm also a total M*A*S*H fanatic... Whoo! biggrin
