Please post your character stats at fist. Include what items your character is bringing in to the dungeon, and a copy of your character's current stats WITH THE ITEM EFFECTS ALREADY ADDED. I will post at least once a day but I try to more often if I can.
(I will normally present possible side plots to characters, in the form of NPC's. But if your not interested in them at all I can just skip them. Or they can continue to show up and you can pursue one if it seems to interest you.)
If you need to buy potions or triad items to each other you may do so now.
Your group is a band of mercenaries. You heard there was a job here at this remote village so you set out to see. When you arrived you where greeted by the village elder who informed you that there was a small army of goblins camped out to the north. There numbers are known to be about 30. They have no idea when they plan to attack or even why. Unless its just for the common loot and plunder that they are usually looking for. You now stand in a small house in front of the village elder. You are supposed to begin negotiations the payment for this job but you may also ask him any questions you may have.
(Note: When I DM I believe in a vary free form. I have given you the situation. Everything after this is up to you. I have nothing planed. If you are smart you can handle this, but how you take out the 30 goblins is for you to decide.)

Trying to be a good leader, Gerbo stepped forward, ready to complete any task laid before him!
"OK now that everyone is here lets start the negotiations!"
Gerbo looked towards the man which we need to haggle with.
"Ok kind sir! Now my kind, Gnomes to you folk, are quite good at working out numbers. So to decide our payment, let me apply logic to the situation. Just hear me out..."
Gerbo continued to explain...
"Well, since a goblin can kill a man... and an average man makes 1 chip a month (based on a peasent poor man, and 1 chip equaling 1 gold in actual medevial times) and the the avarage man lives for 30-50 years, we will say 40. So one chip a month, so 12 chips per year, for 40 years equals 480 chips. So the average life costs 480 chips. Thus risking our life would cost YOU 480 chips, but thats only for one goblin.. and you have 30 of them. So 480 x 30 goblins = 14,400 chips! Divided by 5 since there are five of us.... and you get 2880 chips a piece. What say you to that deal my good lad?"
Gerbo let out a smirk as he finished the final sentance.
((after we negotiate a deal, we can learn info!))

The village elder stares at you with a blank expression on his face eek . You get the impression that he must not have passed math in high school. “I‘m not sure what you just said. But there were a lot of big numbers in there so I‘m not sure that we can pay it sweatdrop . This is a small village so we don’t have much money. Would you be willing to consider something in the three digits if I where to offer you free room and board while you fight? And of course you can keep any treasure you find while fighting the goblins. I would bet they brought quite the war chest with them.”

trying to be a good follower, Rogue sits back as negotiations continue, wondering what on earth he would do with over 400 chips if he ever had that much in the first place (do strip clubs exsist here?)

Regal stepped forward to speak. "Well perhaps and equal 500 per person should be fine, PLUS we get the remains of what we find... that sounds fair to me." Regal then looked around to see the others opinions.

"Actually, i think 500 plus room and board sounds fair indeed!" Gerbo said, "Do you agree to that oh wise elder?"

Imperial stands there quietly, arms folded, and with his face hidden in the shadow of his hood. He silently nods his consent.
