I was just reading that wonderful "The PANTS in the Relationship" thread, when I thought of a splendid little oppertunity.

So if WHEN they get together, what pet names would they have for eachother?

Right now, I'm having rather hilarious visions of Sakura calling Sasuke "Cuddle-Pumpkin" in public areas.


What are your ideas? xd What would they call eachother in public/private/revive-the-clan mode?

I can see Sasuke just calling her "my Sakura". xd

Though in Ngure's RPs, we have a running joke that Sakura found a stray albino cat. It's rather angry and hates everyone other than her, including Naruto, since this was during the time Sasuke was gone [Bear with me, this is relevent]. So what did she name it? Sasu-chan. xd Then another smaller black cat with green eyes showed up with a fat orange tabby. And of course, Sakura takes them in and names the orange one "Naru-chan", but is stuck for a name for the blck cat until she decided that the cats, in fact, acted like the old Team Seven, with one crucial flaw.

Sasu-chan is determined to have kittens with the newly dubbed 'Saku-chan'. Who runs away and hides from his hornyness.

Unfortunatly, she realized this fatal flaw AFTER she had already named that cat.

So in short, there tends to be a lot of-

Sakura: Aww, come here Sasu-chan.
Sasuke: What... did you call me? stressed
Sakura: Not you, the cat.
Sasuke: *after a moment of watching Naru-chan twitch in his sleep* Naruto is pretty stupid.
Sakura: Don't insult my cat!
Sasuke: I wasn't talking about the cat.

I can definitely picture Sasuke's nickname as Yami(Dark) and Sakura's as Hikari(Light) just for what their personalities are. heart

Ew, I find pet names gross.

But well, I'm making some, anyway. I'm just hypocritical that way.

Sasuke: I'm thinking he'd call Sakura something pretty insulting, like "forehead girl," but from him, that would be more of an endearment than an insult. Just because he can get away with it when it comes to Sakura. (Though I'm thinking she'll probably playfully beat him up for it.)

Sakura: She'd probably call Sasuke something cute, like "Sasu-chan" or something weird like "Nekoneko-chan," full knowing that Sasuke would be insulted.

I guess I just like their relationship when they're being playfully insulting to each other.

I can see Sakura making up embarassing pet names to call him in public for fun. xd

Sasuke would probably tell her to shut up, then grab her and keep her mouth otherwise occupied with his own. xd

I am totally all for the embarrassing name in public thing xD
I imagine it being something insanely long, like:

Sakura: Sugarhoneypiesweetiecakesuchiwoochiesnugglepuppypumpkinfuzzylumpkins?
Sasuke: *shall wash and wash but brain will never be clean again*
