if this is what you mean, then yes. At the moment I have 11 million bells (I went to a town that was ahdning out royal crowns, but its shut down now) and last month I got 44,000 bells in interest. (this is only approximatly).
If you aren't talking about this then I don't know what you are talking about.

every month the bank will add an additional amount to your savings account and the'll send a letter telling you how much money you got
