Tiffany turned her nose upward. The smell of spring will her. Of course, the cherryblossoms smelt nearly as sweet as the flowers decorating her hair. She considered spring her favorite season.
It wasn't cold winter where she couldn't go around too much with out freezing, and chattering teeth were not attractive. Summer was too humid for her hair to reach it's prime, and fall came in secound place, because she stood out amongst the ugly bare trees. Still, in spring, everything was abloom, and she felt like part of that, as if she was helping the flowers look better, because she was there.
A bright pink blossom fell down and landed on her hair. "How dare you!" she growled, carfully trying to shake it out with out ruining her hair. Stupid rude tree, dosn't it know who it's dealing with?

Shikoba was soaring above the earth, the pleasant spring air whipping through his long mane. His beautiful wings gleamed in the sun as he soared around the cloudless sky.
Deciding to land, he came down softly and gracefully onto the ground, and shook his head, tossing his mane to the side of his head. He straightened out his wings and folded them neatly at his side. He made to walk forward, but as soon as he looked up, he saw another Soquili not five feet in front of him. It was an awful, tacky looking creature, adorned with flowers and....it looked like she was wearing stockings?! He decided that he didn't really want to have anything to do with this Soquili, and went to walk in the opposite direction.

Tiffany watched some stupid bird soquili land. He had drab brown fur, and TONS of bright yellow hair, far to bright to be blonde, with red strpes. Ew.
He looked at her briefly and then continued. He must have been intimidated by her, she was so beautiful, who wouldn't be?
"It's ok, peasant, I will alow you to be graced by my presence" she said in a suger coated tone. If he was so intimidated, maybe he will stand around and tell her how beautiful she was, and that would be lots of fun.

Shikoba halted, pausing a moment to think about what he had heard. He turned around, a disbelieving look on his face.
"What did you call me? Who died and made you king, you spoiled little brat? And graced by your presence? I was walking away so that I wouldn't have to look at your tacky rear end."
He scowled at the mare, daring her to come back with something.

Tiffany gave an exagerated roll of the eyes. How stupid of him, thinking he had the right to talk back to her. She would certainly have to put her in his place.
"First of all" she started "It would be Queen, smart one. Secound of all, Yes. Graced by my presence. You are quite lucky that I am even speking to you, with your poorly kept hair, and ugly colors. I've seen urine more attractive then the color of your hair" she said , narrowing her eyes. She would let no one cross her.
"Excuse me? Tacky? Is your vision as poor as your fur quality? These gorgeous flowers are all the way from the top of the mountains, only blooming once every ten years!" she snapped. That was a lie, but certainly he was too much of a baffoon to recognize this.

Shikoba snorted, and flapped his feathered wings. Who the hell was this mare?!
"I wouldn't expect the lowest form of life to be obliged to call you "Queen". And yes, tacky! The flowers and lace are only an addition to the eyesore of your pale form. And if you've seen urine more attractive than me, that's fine. Go roll around in it, and it might add some colour to your disgusting appearance."
This mare was really getting on his nerves. Who did she think she was, with her "holier than thou" attitude?

What a stupid stallion. Why would he say such things, he certainly must be very stupid, VERY blind, or very, very jelous. Probubly the last.
"Aww, hunny" she said, regaining her suger-coated tone. "I know that it is intimidating to be near such a lovely mare, but sweety, you are going about this all wrong. Just because you're jelous that I am so gorgeous and you are so...well. Unfortunette looking, you shouldn't use mean words to make yourself be better. It is easier to just crawl in a hole and mope, Kay?"
This stallion certainly wasn't winning any points with her. He should just suck up like one is meant to in her presence. Maybe he was jelous AND stupid.

Shikoba snorted again, and pounded the ground with his hoof.
"Look, you spoiled little slug. You're not intimidating in the least, you're repulsive, and you almost make me dislike being a Soquili, because that puts me in a group with you. Now why don't you go climb to the top of that mountain where you got your stupid flowers, and do us all a favour and jump off of it, ok?"
And with that, he turned and walked away from the mare, furious that she had ruined such a beautiful day.

Tiffany again rolled her eyes. Such a stupid soquili. Who was teaching them to have self confidence, anyway? Whoever it was, she needed to have a stern talk with him or her. They shouldn't be doing such a sin to society.
"Ok, snookums. Just go off and pretend you are special, ok? I know being compared to myself is tough" she said after him, not really caring if he had heard or not, there was no use in feeding the stupid soquili's jelousy.

As the mare called him "snookums", it almost pushed him over the edge. He really wanted to hurt her now, but he knew that doing that would only confirm what she thought of him. But there was no reason he couldn't mess with her, right?
He turned around with a glare in his eye and bolted into a gallop, running straight at her. He lowered his head, and stared at her as he continued to get closer. Right at the last minute, just before he collided head-on with the spoiled little brat, he spread his wings, and in one great flap, soared into the air. As he curved around, he looked down at her and grinned.
"Don't ever talk to me like that, you disgusting creature."

Tiffany smiled smuggly as he turned around and looked, quite satisfied with herself. When he turned around and galloped, at first she was quite unafraid, but as he got closer, her eyes widdened, and she shrunk back. Would he really do it?
She let out a sigh of releif as he flew up into the air. She squinted as the sun shone from behind him. "Stupid brute, are you really so jelous that you must try to intimidate me with your body? Honestly, all that hair dosn't make you special" she said, trying to keep her cool. Even if she was all talk, the little run had shaken Tiffany up quite a bit.
The mare flicked her long tail back and forth, "Now really, how weak are you to be up there, can you not face me down here? Quite immature, I think" she said, keeping tone suger coated, but adding a bit of an edge to it. In Tiffany's little world, everyone either thought she was wonderful, or was stupid. It wasn't that she was horridly mean, she just really belived it.

Shikoba rolled his eyes yet again as he soared around in a circle above Tiffany.
"I would come down, but you're not worth the time."
He continued to soar around, actually smiling now that he wasn't on the ground with that dispicable creature. However, she kept talking, so he landed again, just in front of the mare.
"Look, worm, why do you think you're so much better than everybody?"

Tiffany glared at him, tuning him out as he talked, wondering why he kept droaning on. She smiled brightly as he landed, but once again with a mocking undertone.
"Why? Hmm. Well, that is a big question deary. I supose I could go on and on about my looks, poise, sparkling personality, or the fact that I just am, but that might take a while. I supose it is just because when you grow up on your own as I did, if you have no confidence, you just become a nothing. And that just isn't me" she said matter-of-factly.
She didn't need to lie about herself like others did to get attention. Inf face, she didn't even need to give them a proper reason, although she didn't mind giving one. Tiffany saw herself as a self proclaimed Queen, and why not? Certainly no one else was taking the roll.

This mare just didn't get it, did she?
"Look, that's great that you had to grow up on your own, and you made it, ok, but that doesn't mean you have to act like that. It only alienates you, and nobody will ever like you when you act like that. Don't you get it? You'll be alone all your life."
He glared at her. She deserved to be alone, he thought. If she was going to act like that all the time, she deserved nothing more.

Tiffany tilted her head to the side. How stupid of him. How dare he predict her being alone. It wasn't like she needed anyone. No, Tiffany had enough ego for four or so others, so why bother looking for a mate?
"Like what?" she said, looking innocent. "And also, I certainly don't mind being alone. Quite used to it, in fact. I don't need some stupid brute tagging at my heels to make me happy, in fact, it would simply bring me down" she said, with a confident nod.
"And what about you, hmm? Do you think anyone would waste their time with you? You have been nothing but just like me, saying that you were not even going to waste your time with me because I was 'tacky'. That is CERTAINLY no where NEAR true, but honestly, if you think that you have any upperhand on me in the niceness factor, you certainly are confused"
Who did he think he is, spitting out such hypocritical words, anyway? She had been nice to him at the beggining, telling him that even though he was disgusting, he didn't need to walk by at a distance as to not hinder her beauty. Why did she, a mare of such a pure heart, always treated so badly?
