I may or may not shared this with some of the original members, and this is a work in progress. Also, my spelling sucks. Programers, nor Infantrymen, need to know how to spell razz

3246: Humans have expanded into the solar system, terraforming Mars, Mercury, a dozen moons and hundreds of Space platforms in orbits around various planets, even a couple outside the solor system. (Called by people who colonize outside of earth's solor system as 'Alpha', meaning first of any series.)

Humanity for the most part is controlled by a federation of corporations who long ago bought up all the governments, or crushed them with their economic and military power. At times, the FCH (Federated Corparations of Humanity) isn't as united as the public likes to believe. Many were in a cold war of sorts in the field of genetics, and had been for years. The benefactors of the larger companies in the FCH have been known to have lives measured in hundreds insted of tens. The Chairmen of these companies are rumoured to have lived for nearly 1000 years.

A rogue company who fell far behind in genetics, but stayed a member of the FCH through weapon manufacturing, designed and built almost all of the weapons throughout the FCH. When the FCH grew weary, and captured the rogue company's colonies. The company's leading scientist, knowing he had no future after the fall of his life's work, took his weapon capable of destroying whole planets, and deployed it on Mercury, the Headquarters planet of the Federation. Mercury was instantly destroyed down to the planet's core. The atmosphere of Venus was torn off of the gravity's hold, and Earth experinced increased seismic activity across its surface. The FCH adapted and found new chairmen and new factories, Venus was now open to colonization without having to deal with its toxic atmosphere. It wasn't until a year afterwards that scientists noticed the effects the weapon had on the sun.

The sun's core temperature had almost doubled. It also closed half the distance to venus. The few companies that specialized in Space production and exploration sent its citizens out of the solor system, in search for new homes, fearing the worst. The FCH didn't believe it was anything but normal expansion of solar bodies, and did nothing.

A few months later, the galaxy experinced its single most devastating nova in its history. Humanity went from trillions to thousands in less than a week. A few ships that were far and strong enough to survive were caught in the resulting Black Hole. For thousands of years, Humanity wandered around the galaxy, searching for a new place to call home. Every place that was suitable enough was taken by another species. Unable to communicate most of the time, and a few times unable to come to an agreement, humanity was forced to live in the void between systems.

After generations of searching, Humans were taken in by a peaceful alien race and eventualy entered into the inter-system relations between species, overcoming communication barriers.

6000+ AA (After Alpha, refering to the destruction of Earth and it's solar system): After wandering the galaxy for so long, humanity has lost the ability to reproduce - an after-effect of the genetic alterations of the Alpha Era. But a Human-Allurian descendant has begun studying into breaking through the temperal barrier, and attempt to master time itself...

Make your own char, race, and whatever. be unique, be creative, and have fun. just no God-Moding, as in LotR RPs. But SOME supernatural abilities are allowed. In plain, psionics, technology are allowed. Just declare them in your profile. Your character CAN learn and change through the RP. If any of you have ever played D&D or something simalar, we'll go with that kinda RP where anything off the way can happen. If things do go into battle, a MOD will decide the winner by actions. In this, I trust the indivuadal players won't make themselves godly. No magics... and Post in the profile sticky. Let us see where this will go...

((A_A: I corrected some of the spelling for you. I think I'm destined to be a programmer. xp ))

[Since no one dares start...]

1 light year from the formor Solar System

A ship sat silently in space. Its single crew member was slouched over the console, with his elbows on the console, looking almost boredly out of the view point at a large black hole. After so long of less to consume, the size had shrunk slightly, but it would still be more than capable of catching and destroying such a small ship. It was funny to think, the crew member mused, that the blackhole marked a mass grave. Long ago, the blackhole had been replaced by a planet full of his people, but now, everyone of his 'race', were scattered to the four corners of the Universe.
With a sigh, the crew member, who's fading uniform marked him a captain, and name tag named him 'James Stratford', pressed a button on his erstwhile desk. After a moment, the console lit up. Hitting more buttons, the small ship made a 180 degree bank to the left, then started to move. After a few moments, in which time it had gained speed, its engines glowed a cool blue, then raced away from the blackhole, towards an, as yet, invisible space station.

At the Laria Space Station, Hyperspace.

"Oh, come on!" Arianeira complained, banging her fist on the shiny desk in frustration. "I'm not even from this planet; how am I supposed to get back?"

The Human-Allurian smiled politely but in a way that indicated that he was bored of talking to her.

"I'm sorry Miss but there's nothing we can do. Your ship is suspected of being used by pirates and will be held off-planet pending further enquiries. You have two options: you can either wait until the investigations are concluded or you can return to your own planet via a civillian shuttle."

He turned away and busied himself with the machinery behind his desk, ignoring any further attempts to attract his attention. Arianeira scowled at him.

"Over my dead body." She muttered savagely, running her fingers through her hair in exasperation. She crossed to the door-portal and stepped back into the street. "Now what?"

Exiting Hyperspace Two light seconds 'over' Laria
Exiting hyperspace, reverting to true space

A few moments after the vanishing of the small ship, it reverted A few light seconds over a small planet. Offical documents stated it had a space station, but at the moment it was missing. Possibly hiding in hyperspace from Pirates, or some other violent race. A swift R.A.D.A.R scan showed it not to be on the far side of the planet. Opening communcations, the man keyed in a request to dock at the station, in all haste.

Arianeira scuffed the toes of her boots along the pavement with disgust, darting fierce glares at anyone rude enough to stare at her. As a pure-human rather than a part-alien hybrid she was fairly rare and was used to the attention she attracted especially as most of the hybrids were a lot taller than the race had been on earth. Her eyes glinted dangerously as she made her way to the skywall. She swung herself up and sat on it, facing space. She swung one leg negligently as she glanced outwards at the ships. Somehow the launching and docking ships made her calmer.

1 lightyear from the Laria space Station

Anna pushed a few buttons on the cyan lighted consul of her small space craft. The computer spoke, "heading to nearest destination. Target locked. Laria Space Station." Anna let out a sig of relief as she tapped a green button, locking the spacecraft into auto pilot. She leaned back in her chair, resting her feet on the empty part of the conul and running her thin fingers through her dark red hair, staring out at the black empiness of space, cyan eyes ocasionally looking at special stars she could name.
"How long 'till we reach out desination, computer?" she said in a soft voice, her words gentle.
"One lightyear, Miss Anasasia," the computer answered.
"MMMM..." Anna confirmed, taking her feet off of the consul and standing up, moving to the back of her small craft. There was just enough room in the front to move around some, and enough room to sleep in the back. She picked a book off the floor at her bedside, wipping some of the deust from the crimson cover, and flipping through the pages. Sure the computer held all her information, but she enjoyed the precious ocasion of finding the old holdings of history and stories.

Two light seconds 'over' Laria
True space

It was only a second's glance, but that was all the ships computers needed, to detect the location of the stations bay. It must have been quite a delicate manouver to do such a pin-point revert from hyperspace. One usually taught to dropship pilots in the Navy, incase of heavy fire during a Marine raid.
Locking the co-ordinants in, the Hyperon drifted closer to the space station, where Captain Stratford would leave her for refuling and repairs, while he went to the surface and got totally bladdered. It was a good life, but a boring life.
Following the now lighted HUD-NAV Points (Heads up Display - Navigation Points ) screen, the ship coasted in on manual. While passing the Docking bay doors, Stratford readyed the four 'legs' that would emerge from the bottom of his ship, then eased it into a docking space. After hovering over a space for a moment, he lowered it effortlessly, then waited.

Arianeira turned her head slightly as another ship readied itself to dock slightly to her right. She rested her hand on her elbow as she watched with interest. By its movements it appeared that this ship was being docked manually rather than by the now more usual autopilot. Traditionalist then. She thought with a small smile as she watched.

At the Laria Space Station, Hyperspace.

Nonah sat at a table, tapping her fingers impatiently. Finally, an employee sat across from her. "How may I help you?" He said annoyed. "I'd like to color my speeder," Nonah said, gesturing at her speeder. "Silver. Not to shiny though," She said, pressing some currency into the engineers hand. Her martin slid silently around her neck. "And, please be hasty."

Over the Hours. Docking into Laria.

"Ready to dock in destination, LARIA, Miss Anna," the computer spoke.
Anasasia lifted her head from her book, her drak red-brown hair falling to the sides of her porceline colored face. She marked the number of the book she was on with a small piece of paper and moved up to the consul of her spacecraft. She pressed a series of buttons, turning her autopilot off. "Proceed to docking manually, computer," she commended ina strong but feminine voice. She comftorably seated herself and took ahold of the controls, slowing the speed of her craft to make a good clean landing. The engines lowly purred as the main power was cooled. Anna manouvered to grab a small bag behind her filled with her passports and such. Now it was time to search for anything interesting.

A second ship docked beside the first, again manually. Curious, Arianeira slid off the wall and moved slowly down the dock towards the ships. Inquisitiveness had always been a great failing of hers and although she tried to be cautious, it was usually ineffective. She strolled down the dock, not lloking directly at either ship but keeping both easily within her sights.

Anna exited gracefully from her ship, her brown bag slung over one shoulder and already a look of curiosity pasted into her bright cyan eyes. Well well... perhaps this place contains more than I expect, she thought as she started to walk through parts of the dock, passing a look to another being, but thinking of it as only a way of looking at her surroundings. 'Where was she supossed to go from here?' was her only question at the moment, but she knew more would casually come along.

Arianeira paused, watching the woman as she made her way through the crowded dock. Arianeira, curious and with nothing else to do, was torn between staying to watch the first ship or following the woman from the second. She hesitated for a moment before deciding to follow the woman. Staying a good distance behind and in the shadows, she followed her towards the bustling streets of Laria.

She waited impationtly. She snapped her fingers, creating flames on the tipps. Nonah then made a fist and a little ember in the shape of a flower sizzled in her hand. She sighed. Her speeder was finally painted. She hoped on and noticed a girl following another. Nonah started her little craft and slowly hovered next to Anna. "hey," She wispered.

Silently, Captain James almost glided down the ramp. As he stepped away, a brie thought flicked through his mind at the ship, which, seemingly in responce, begun to raise its ramp again while sealing its hatch.
Continuing his silent movements, James peered up at the second ship with a faint look of interest. Continuing past it, he strolled towards the sign in desk. After pausing to allow the retinal scanner do its work, he moved towards the lifts, following a pair of females, without really noting them. Reached up to his shoulder, James checked his rifle was in place, then his pocket for his permit. Shrugging, he followed the unknown females.
