Anyone here fans of the science fiction RPG called Final Fantasy VII for the playstation and PC?

Love it/hate it?

It's storyline=something like it possible [getting rid of the fantasy elements that is.]

Anything up for discussion really.

I'm not much of a FF Fan, but because I've never played it.
I'm sure if I did I'd love it.

I love that game. SO difficult to beat. Why is it impossible for fantasy elements to occur? Science cannot explain everything, neither can faith. Why must you all insist on pegging everything as 'impossible' or 'illogical'? I think it could happen, even if not exactly...Does that mean I do not belong in this Guild?

Fantasy, magic, miracles,.... they are all possible. Yes, they may have a scientific explanation somewhere, but there are soooo many things we do not know and cannot understand yet that there is no reason to say anything is impossible. We don't even know our own bodies well enough to understand them, so how can we say something in the known or unknown universe is impossible? We only use a fraction of our brains-- does that mean we can't have esp or telekinesis? Or does it mean we are still infants in the universe and don't know squat?
Errrrr sorry- I ramble! and drat my quote didn't work like it was supposed to! confused

I have played all the ff games....... I have not beaten ffVII yet. Beat X, really dislike X-2-- Dresses for weaponry??!!??? ack! But I will play, cuz I want the ending where Yuna gets Tidus back!

VII is a good game, but I agree-- Very hard to beat!

Ahh, the Final Fantasy series.. there isn't a
single one that I dislike.

..except for FF X-2 and the dress spheres.
Not even FF's perfect; I'll give you that.

My sister's playing Dirge of Cerberus in the next room rofl

I like FFVII - even though my favorite is FFX, FFVII will always have that place in my heart.

(...Was I the only one that cheered when Aeris died?)

The question you must ask yourself is, are you prepared to dedicate a good portion of the next month to take part in a powerful story unlike anything you have ever witnessed before? If your answer is yes, and you can approach Final Fantasy VII content knowing that it bears its genre's inherently problematic traits, you will find it be among the most incredible games you have ever played - or ever will.

Seriously... although I think they're doing a PS3 (I think sweatdrop ) version with better graphics and sound quality. With that plus the story and gameplay, it's going to be great.
