Yep same with mine, but we say something back. Our band doesn't practice much because of that.

Our director called our entire clarinet section retards one day in pep band. I think that was also the day he started calling the flutes, Fluteloops.

Indirectly, but yes. It's totally justifiable, though. She told us the "scratch n'sniff at the bottom of the pool" joke, and three days later, she says it again. And Katie, our resident BLONDE, then starts laughing. We all look at her, and she says "I just got it!" We of course laughed at her, so she said "No! I thought you could just swim down and take a sniff and come back up."
Understand? sweatdrop

Our director frequently calls us doorknobs, or idiots, or sometimes yells things such as "Do I need to change your class to 107?!" which is the sped class.

Our band teacher probably says that in his mind. None of us listen. It's really funny. He'll tell us what were doing will continue on with our conversations, then someone asks what were doing, he repeats, and that is all reapeated about five times. Then he draws a stupid thing on the board for detentions but never gives any out...It's almost like a free block, except we still get around to playing...edventually razz
