Yes, I did some voice acting today, only to realize....
MY EVIL VOICE SUCKS!!! gonk
My friend Lilly pulled some strings with her animator friend, and we're making an actual.....ANIME....with voice acting as our characters too...
AGH THE INHUMANITY!! gonk
I'm supposed to play an evil demon in our prologue who kills all the hero's parents, and while I was running some tests on myself with the recorder, I found my 'evil' voice sounds WHINY!!! gonk
AAAAAARGH!!! I SOUND WORSE THAN RENTON IN THE EARLY EPS!! THAT'S NOT MY VOICE!! scream
And you know what? The only time I DID do well, which was when I recorded myself flipping out about the other recording...I sounded like the english TALHO!! gonk

It's more of an anime movie. It's the prologue to our rpg, and it's called "Eulosia". The whole thing will be put together by us. Mostly Lilly and her animator friend.
My character, since this is pre-Lotus (The rp is called "Lotus Village") is still a demon fighting with the rest while they attack the home of the Gods.

Try watching something frighteningly-intense, like watching a little boy get beaten up or some old High School movie where bullies throw a kid in a locker. It'll put you in an "evil" mood that you can use in your personality and voice to record.
... Do you perhaps have a link to some voice clips of your evil voice? razz
