his eyes had gotten used to the lighter days in the upper Swamp. no longer having to squint, or having trouble seeing in the brightness. though he would much rather prefer the dark. noticing his markings barely glowed in the light, and he very much preferred glowing. since his last run in with the two from Candyland. and that one... rotting Coffee. he had not seem many others. of cource he was used to this. it was not as if Coffee went out seeking company. and thats not what he was doing either, he was simply trying to find something to occupy his time.

A happy scream came from the swamp and it was first hard to see who the scream came from since the numa was born with a brown coat and the girl was apparently taking a little dip in a pool of coffee. She tossed back her head and hair like she was some kind of mermaid but she wasn't.
She was a brown coffee male her hair was black with a string of purple in it and her eyes where almost glowing because of the bright purple and red and she had 2 peacoak feathers attached to the back of her hair. She shiverd a little it was actually pretty cold today and she decided to crawl up from the pool. And so she did...dripping with coffee the numa girl got out of the pool. Her apparence was very feminine and she knew how to get attention to herself even if it was on purpose or not.

having heard her gleeful squeal before actually having seen her. he paused. turning his head in the direction of the noise.
settling himself down, he watch the female Coffee for a while, he had to admit, he was not used to seeing Coffee especially grown coffee acting like children in there play. though he could definitely say that she was not a child.
but, after meeting Numa who detested the Swamp. he had to admit, it this was a nice change.
"its nice seeing someone enjoying the Swamp" he said, loud enough for her to heard him. his voice deep, gruff and as powerfully as his body looked.
he was abnormally large for a Numa, something that granted his easy strength and intimidation.

The female hadn't noticed the male at all maybe because she was busy with getting the coffee off her fur, she squeezed of some coffee from her hair with her paws as well. She looked really silly when she turned around and looked at the male. Oh where did he came from?
She smiled and nodded towards him. When he spoke she shiverd a little what is it with big guys with deep voices it always made her shiver. She watched him for a while before she mentally hit herself.
" Hallo there! ah well is very refreshing but today it was a little cold sadly "
She smiled and decided to walk up to the coffee male and greet him. He sure indeed had some funny markings but he looked cool.

"well." he started. smirking as she started towards him. he held his ground, letting her approach
"cold Coffee can hardly be called coffee then can it?"
he shifted and stood up. nodding his head to her "but its home i suppose. and you always find a way to love everything about it... cold coffee or not"
his smirks carried on. dark eyes, scanning over the brown female.

She walked up to him and sat down infront of him. Her tailtip wagged a little as the watched the male, his markings looked really amasing and those horns he had was glowing <3 she blinked a few times trying to focus on his words.
" Ah yes i love it but i guess i didn't get lucky finding a good pool today...maybe you know better places? "
She pulled back her wet hair some and placed herself on the backlegs so she could have full control when trying to fix it she hoped she didn't look to messy. She licked her lips a little and you could see her white fangs showing they where small but she was also a female.
You could also see a marking on her belly that looked like a unicorn.
" Oh i am Ramona~~ and you might be? "
She reached out her paw to greet the male.

he stared down at her claw for a moment. then lifted his own to shake hers
"Ramona," he tried out her name for himself nodding his said slightly "my name is Equis"
pulling his claw away and settling it back down he glanced over towards the Coffee pond.
"can't say I'm from around here" he said "I would not be able to even tell you where the closes bean tree is from here.

She smiled and watched his claws while he was greeting her as well they looked so nice and shiney but almost everything on him was shiney or glowing. Her feathers wiggeld in the wind...she scratched herself on the unicorn marking on her belly a little as she looked around the area she wasn't very well organized in this area either..
Then she glanced up up at him with her big red and purple eyes and grinned.
" I don't know much of this place either actually...maybe you would like to join me for a walk and we could explore some?~~ "
She lowerd her voice a little and tried sounding more mysterious but it most sounded silly.

"I suppose so" he said with a sly grin "its not my prefer part of the Swamp. but its home nonetheless.
still grinning about the handsome comment he took a couple of strides to the side. then paused to let her join him.
"I could use a walk, theres been quite a bit bothering me since i got up here"

She watched his grin for a few seconds before she grabbed his arm with hers and started to walk. She tought it was much nicer to walk like this and she wasn't really afraid of her own kind either and she hoped Equis wouldn't take it wrong she was just being friendly and very happy over metting another coffee and a very handsome male as well..
" Oh? how come? ah well you don't have to answer maybe it's your private buisness "
She smiled and wagged her tail camly as she walked.

his eyebrow raised, as he glanced down at her slightly. sure he could accept that the Swamp had some features that irked him... but he had far to much pride for him home to think them... bad.
"can Candy land and the Swamp really be compares?" he asked
he didn't see anything appealing about Candy land. he was starting to understand why some of the Coffee up there were trying to destroy it.
"ah no no" he shook his head grinning down at her as she took his arm "I'm from deep inside the swamp. we get little light, and little company but we do get allot of stories about whats been happening up here. have to say... most of them were true"

Ramona listend to him and looked up at him with her big red and purple eyes he was diffently much bigger then her she started to wounder what food he had eaten when he was litte? maybe super large coffee beans..

Then she got her eyes stuck on some strange glowing stick around his neck she didn't want to stare but he really had some awsome markings and items.
" Ahh ok i understand...i am more from the parts there actually the sun do shine sometimes. You must have many intresting stories care to share one? "
She was curious about the most things that happend in the swamp the entire swamp was her home not just the part she had been growing up in.

"most of the stories told down in the depth of the Molasses Swamp are about what goes on up here. we don't do very much in the darkness, we prefer our quiet, solitary life. though we are not above gossip and rumors. more favorably, is one of another land, outside the Swamp, a barbaric one, and how some higher land Coffee plotted to destroy it. thats what got me up here in the first place after all, I'm interested in this so called... barbaric land, and why the plot failed."
he smirked and glanced down at her. lifting his arm that had hers in it up a bit. mostly to show off how strong he was. she was very bold, to be walking so close to him with out knowing him well enough yet. he thought it was.... cute.
"so far most of the stories are true. you guys have walking dead up here. and that land... is very real"
he narrowed his eyes.

She tought that sounded a little extreme no that wasn't the right word she was most surprised over never hearing about it herself. And that higherland coffee really sounded like a mean guy why would anyone want to destroy the swamp? it was here just like the candy land and everything else in this world...
" Hmm i hope you will find your answer...but i must say i never heard that story before at all "
She liked her lips a little and glanced up at him under her black hair that currently was covering one of her eyes. Ramona was mostly judged for being that dark, mysterious beauty but she wasn't really that complicated she was easy to read and she just wanted to have fun in life. But sure this girl had her mysteries like any girl has right?
" Ah you think? well then i want to find out more as well "
But Ramona loved most adventures and stories and was not afraid of anything accept one thing. But she hide that well. The coffee girl watched Equis lift his arm she just smiled and tought he was a little silly but boys will always be boys.

"oh I Intend to" he said with a smirk "and I'm not really surprised, since thats pretty much the only way we socialize down there, rumors and what not."
he smirked down at her, "and I would much enjoy some company. I believe the more united the Coffee are, the better off our Swamp would be. though i have to admit, I do enjoy the distances our kind has with one anther"
he paused, turning to face her, not only to get a better look at her, but to be able to talk to her more seriously.
"I have to find the Coffee who made the first move against those Candy"
