Ok, exactly as it says on the tin, I'm interested in a serious discussion about how the likes of Anne Rice and Bram Stokers creations would survive in the modern age, what would really happen to them, and how realistic are they, in terms of portrayal of someone granted unlife?

I really liked Stoker's creations... but I'm not so sure if they'd survive today in our world of news broadcasts... and you know that they'd be spotted easily in LA (too many mirrors in that place)
But in terms of realism, I'm really not sure how you judge that. I mean, whoever writes the book gets to make the rules - that's a core idea of all fantasy.
