The roof; many residents come here to gather their thought, to enjoy the view, or just to be alone. Whatever the reason for venturing up to this great height, the reward one gets is a view beyond compare. The entire cherryblossom forest can be seen as well as the pagoda grounds. The landscape of the horizon is breath taking and stunning... truly a sight to behold...

Alex stood atop the roof and looked out over the landscape. He took in the sight before he began to practice his tai chi katas. With fluid grace, Alex began his movements as he cleared his mind. Anyone who saw Alex's movements could tell right away he was no rookie at this. Alex moved with the grace and fuild motion of a seasoned martail artist... but to Alex, this was a means to achieve mental and physical balance... the heights were just for kicks...

Dyanel appeared on the roof and smild at the cool breeze. She heard the sound of someone moving and she walked over. She smiled seeing Alex trainning. She sat down and watched for a while.
Seems like yesterday he was just a boy. She thought to herself.
She sat there realizing how much time had really gone by, she was going to be 18 centuries soon and she realized how much of a legend she was. She had no legacy to follow in her footsteps either. She sighed thinking about all the possibilty of having children with Hayate.

Samurai X ventures up to the roof to have a sit and relax. But not to long after wards he was visited by a vengefull being that was just out side the gate. Even though the pagoda is very tall Samurai X could still hear the insults from who ever was down below. So he went and peered over the edge to see what was going on when a rock hit him in the forhead. "Thats no ordinary person" he said eek ((imagin the eyes swirling)). He warped to the woods to see what was going on...

Cole appeared on the roof, still holding Tetsuko by her wrist. Looking out over the horizon, Cole smiled as the wind blew past them both. He didn't look at the angel as he spoke...
"I expect my guest to follow the rules Tetsuko. You are no exception from the other guests. I do not allow my guests within my chamber without me for the reasons I already told... now, just to make sure you are paying attention..."
With a grin on his face, Cole; still holding Tetsuko's wrist; ran to the edge of the roof and lept off into the sky. After the two fell ten stories down, Cole released his hold on Tetsuko's wrist and called forth his demon wings and flew of into the sky, then vanishing in a puff of black smoke.

Travis watched all that was happening from his perch on the roof. He watched as his friend left to fight his battle. A battle he could not have help in. Travis had begged, but Tochi had firmly denied any help. But he had managed to give Tochi the Dragon's Amulet. He saw Beren speaking to Shinta again. He got up and flew off of the roof. he looked down again and saw a horse bear its rider softly to the ground and he flew closer.

Tetsuko decided she might check out the rooftop- this time, by herself. She smiled, letting the breeze blow through her long hair. "I wonder how Choe is...." she thought to herself. Stretching, she laid back, waiting for someone else to come.

Tetsuko awoke, startled slightly. In her deep relaxation, she had fallen asleep. Scolding herself for being so careless, and angry yet pleased no one had disturbed her, she stretched, spreading her angel wings. She glanced down, and grinned as she realized where she wanted to go. Smirking, she leaped off the edge, flying down past the many floors of the pagoda.

Aideki had found her way up upon the roof, her muscles tense, her jaw clenched hard, so hard infact that the muscle was quite eminent, causing her cheek bones to stand out more so than usual. She squatted down on the side of the roof, looking down upon the landscape... So vast it was... going on for seemingly ever. How could the world be so big? In comparison she felt so small and feeble...hardly anything at all. "What has happend to me..." her thoughts were loose and she whispered in an almost angry tone. Deep inside her she felt the essance of the other inside her grin...and her muscles grew all the more tense as she clenched her fist furiously.

After calming a bit, her eyes settled on the boardering woods, glazing over the many cherry blossom trees and how they swayed gently in the slight breeze. If there was anything she loved about the Pagoda and its surrounding grounds, it was those trees. She had never seen so many in a single place, and watching them constantly rain cherry blossoms, soaking the ground like snow with them, they had become some sort of marking. Standing up, she swung down over the side of the roof and began to quickly climb down, nimbly swinging from thise footing to that and in a matter of minutes she was on the ground.

Shinta wandered around the pagoda for a few minutes before going to the roof. He could not sense where Lady Dyanel was to tell her where Cole and Hikari were going, so he finally just went to the rooftop to enjoy the peace and quiet. Cheebs fluttered off his shoulder and began doing acrobatic spins and turns in the air.
He sat cross-legged on the edge of the roof and breathed in the crisp air, closed his eyes and began to meditate. The scent of cherry blossoms from below filled the air...
"Blood and cherry blossoms..." The thought intruded enough for him to speak it aloud.
He felt the mistlike touch of Natsuko's hand on his shoulder, lovingly telling him to let it go.
"I know my love..." He murmured. He opened his eyes and stared out at the beauty below them. "I know..."
Cheebs made a final corkscrew spin, then settled into the swordsman's lap. Shinta gently stroked Cheebs' head and sighed. "The past...it does not haunt me quite so often as it did before...It is so peaceful..." His voice carried a hint of amazement.

Shinta rose his head suddenly as he felt the presences of Hikari-dono and Cole vanish. "Good fortune favor thee." He thought, misquoting an old saying.
Cheebs looked up. "What is it Shinta?"
"Cole-san and Hikari-dono have begun their journey."
"I hope she finds her mom." Cheebs sniffled, trying to remember his own mother.
Shinta stroked Cheebs and forced himself to smile cheerfully. "There, there little one, let's go for a walk and maybe find someone to talk with. It's too quiet here."
The little keros nodded and climbed onto Shinta's left shoulder, snuggling into the folds of the his blue gi and wrapping his tail around the swordsman's arm to secure himself.
Shinta cocked his head around to look caringly at Cheebs a moment. Casting his senses around he could sense people in the surrounding woods. Imagining the place in his mind's eye, he vanished.

After stopping in the kitchen, Aideki headed up to the roof top. She liked it up there. Mostly, no one was about much and she could see for miles all around. Some times she even thought she saw the ocean, far off and sparkling in the way-out distance, but she knew well enought that it was only her imagination playing with what she yearned for. Goooo...lllleave and gooo back to the ssssseaaa... hissed the voice of which occupied her body. Her eyebrows furrowed inward at its voice, hissing in her ear though it was completely silent. Without knowing, she broken the glass bottle in her tightening fist that she had picked up from the kitchen. Shards stuck into her flesh through her leather gloves and she winced. Sometimes, the power of the demon spirit within her gave her odd bursts of uncontrolable strength that only showed up under situations where it was just her and 'it', boiling her blood to the point of rage.

She stared down at the glass and blood on and in her hand. It wasn't so painful, just caught her off guard. But she was content, for the sudden sensation of glass tearing flesh shushed the voice within her and threw it into silence. Her shoulders shook with quiet laughter as a faint grin tugged at the corners of her lips.
