Freya had to admit she was extremely lazy. She -could- have been off frolicking through the grass, or she could have been off hunting. But she wasn't, she was just allowing Ba'kru, to do all the work. He was so good about doing those sorts of things, it was.. endearing, to say the least.
So she simply sat out in the burning sun, despite how horrid the heat was, on a rock, her body sprawled across it in possibly the most suggestive position any innocent eyes would ever see shown openly in public... not that the grasses were filled with the peering eyes of well.. her peers. Ah, those beautiful yet horrid beasts who claimed to be of her own species.
She was one up in pedigree, and up two in class.
"Mmm... I wonder how long he's going to be off and run away on me." she complained out loud, draping one paw, the golden one, across her face in a sort of 'woe is I' manner. Oh, woe was her.

"Stooooooop!" came a somewhat girly, yet changing noise. A small, common bird, the kind that hung around with large herbivores to get a free meal, darted past Freya, as if distressed it'd soon be eaten.
Thankfully, Nunda wasn't the kind to prey upon small, defenseless things. One could say his weakness was nature itself; it pained him to take the life of something, especially the young, sick, or old. And yet, he remembered it was his duty to play his part in the Circle of Life. He'd learned that from his great-grandmother, Sarabi. Obviously, he'd absorbed that lesson too much, and it eventually became his life's philosophy.
The adolescent came leaping through the sea of grass to the base of the rock, where the beautiful Freya sprawled herself out. At first, Nunda thought she was dead, but upon closer inspection, he realized she was simply sunbathing, and complaining, too. His forest green eyes widened at her; was this the first girl he'd ever met? Probably. He'd been so sheltered by China and Nunda, he'd never seen one. As he opened his mouth to greet her, only air came out. He felt too nervous to say anything, let alone look at her. Slowly, the lessons his lecherous father had taught him faded into his mind, but he quickly shook his head to get rid of them. "E-er, um, hello?" he said shakily, his voice crackling between youth and adulthood.

With the daintiest of motions, Freya moved the paw which she'd crossed over her face and stretched both of her forepaws above her head, holding it for a moment, before one of her ears swiveled towards the puberty-struck voice which spoke to her.
She remained frozen for a moment, before rolling over onto her stomach, stretching out her laziness and sleep ridden legs again, before crossing them in front of her, trained in poise, or so it seemed. She seemed to dismiss the 'child' for a moment, before her golden eyes slowly drifted their attention over to him and his sunny colored pelt. She seemed to admire the coloration for a moment, before she reached out with a paw to brush at his growing mane.
"Mmm... This is lovely." she said, not exactly returning the greeting, but instead getting to the superficial point of just how lovely his fur was. If she'd been bluntly honest, she would have said that she wanted to skin it off his body and run away with it.
But that would have been utterly creepy on several levels.

As the almost heavenly paw of Freya pawed at his mane, Nunda felt an unfamiliar emotion wash over him. It couldn't have been lust, because otherwise.. well, let's just say Ezeoha's lessons would have guided his actions from thereon. No, this emotion was a mixture of embarassment and love. He gently ducked his head from under her paw, before backing up a bit.
"E-e-excuse me for interrupting your sunbathing, miss...?" Chivalry always came first, as his mother taught him. Then again, as Ezeoha had taught, give 'em some slack, then reel 'em in! He puffed his chest out a little, trying to look a bit older. Even though his voice had barely changed to adulthood, he could still look older than he felt. Freya seemed to make him feel like he should act older.

His response was -perfect- and made Freya grin in pride inside. Oh, she -so- won the lottery right then. At least, her own mental lottery, since those kinds were the best in her mind. When he ducked away from her paw, Freya tucked it back underneath her with a content purr, waiting to see what would happen next.
It took a lot out of her to keep from bursting into laughter, complete with the tears which would come from not breathing properly, as Nunda made an attempt to 'macho' himself up while making a -rather- nice first.. second impression to follow.
"Freya." she said, completing the 'Miss' statement, as it was rather obvious to her that it was her job to fill in the blank. A lovely blank to fill, indeed. Afterall, her name went beautiful EVERYWHERE. Aww, he was just so -cute- trying to be a grown up! "And I wasn't sun bathing, I don't need it, but your apology is duly noted, young man."

A shaky, unsure laugh came from Nunda, almost automatically. For heaven's sake, what was wrong with him? He wasn't here to talk to this... er... lady. He wanted to study that bird almost as badly as he wanted to study Frey-NO! 'Stupid father...' he thought angrily. He wouldn't become lecherous and mistrusting like his father had been to China. At least, according to her.
"A-ah, you didn't see a bird fly by, did you? It had a red beak, gold and white feathers, and an amber body. I would very much like to study it, and it'd be of great.." His voice faded a bit as Freya's 'young man' comment sunk into his head. He blinked once, his cheeks turning a shade of pink, before he continued. "Of... of.. of great help to me if, if y-you told me which way it went." He swallowed a bit, before looking directly into her eyes. They were like two golden arrows piercing into his soul. Freya had a certain quality he'd never encountered in anyone.

"A bird?" she repeated, searching her mind for any bird she may have, or have not, seen, tapping one white-toed paw against her lower lip for a few minutes before she lightly shrugged. "Well, I haven't really seen much today, dearie. I had my paws over my eyes until you stumbled onto me, see?" she stated, waving the paw she'd been tapping against her mouth about the air in front of her in a circle.
"However, I -might- have heard one. I don't think I'd be able to confirm if it was the one you were wishing to find, however." she added, ears drooping a bit in her own fake sadness, though she did well to disguise that fact, simply like she'd disguised her open persona for shyness with Ba'kru. Ah, she was insidious like that.
She paused after a moment for added effect before placing the same paw she'd been waving about the moment before underneath the boy's mouth to tilt his face up a bit, leaning in dangerously close to give him a sort of seducing stare, like she loved to do. "But perhaps we could go.. romp the grass and look for it, mm?"

As Freya leaned in, practically an inch from embracing him, Nunda's eyes widened, before he staggered backwards "F.. for heaven's sakes!!" he stammered, half embarassed, half angry. He trembled a bit; he was nearly ready to kiss her, before his mother's little lessons in chivalry kicked in. "H-have some dignity, miss Freya!"
He looked her up and down quickly, before taking the chance of looking into her eyes again. "A-all I ask of you is whether you've seen a bird or not, and here you are, toying with my emotions as though you were a jackal and I was a dying bird! Well, miss, I must say, in my lifetime, I expected to meet a lady with high class and manners, but apparently you are not that lady!" He puffed out his chest again, huffing and puffing with exasperation, anger, and embarassment.

If he expected Freya to be taken aback, she certain wasn't. In fact, she simply leaned away from the adolescent and folded her paws in front of her again, shrugging her shoulders lightly. "-You- are the one who was presuming things of me, and the one looking too much into my actions." she stated casually, before she rolled over onto her side, sprawling her legs out in front of her.
"Besides, I am of high enough class and manners to know that it would be rude of me to not act as who I am and grew up being, now is it?" she inquired with a sort of charmed voice, lifting her head back up to look at the exasperated boy, before sighing and again rolling onto her stomach to get a good look at Nunda.
"Might I add, as well, young man, that while I might not have the manners you expect of young ladies, you've already forgotten the first rule of manners; you give your own name before asking someone else's, and I've yet to have learned yours." she said, leaning and licking his mouth in her own flirtatious manner before rising to her feet, stretching her legs out before she lept down from the rock on the side opposite of Nunda.
She didn't walk away immediately, however, but looked at him over one shoulder casually, shrugging the shoulder there for an added effect. "So I'd say that perhaps you should brush up on what you know of the ladies of the roguelands before you chastise my behavior. You'd learn some of us must be like this in order to further our lives. Don't get me wrong though, that doesn't imply that this.." she wiggled her butt a bit for effect, "is just for any male I happen to meet and flirt with."

Nunda's temper flared for a moment as he listened to Freya calmly explain her... interesting.. actions. But all thoughts of anger and irritation quickly fled as she gave him what appeared to feel like a kiss. The male scrunched up his face as her maw met his, his body stiffening as the new feeling of ecstasy washed over multiple times.
At first, Nunda didn't know what to think. He seemed helpless to stop this sudden feeling to follow Freya wherever she went, like an obedient dog. However, another feeling of his made him feel... almost robbed of this experience he'd been hoping to save. He watched Freya go, a melancholy expression on his face. "Wh.... why did you do that?" he asked, his voice unsure whether to be loud and angry, or soft and curious. His heart still pitter-pattered wildly from the 5-second old memory that would be dutifully logged as his first kiss, desired or not.

"Because I'm sure afterwards, you caught and held onto every little word I said~" Freya replied playfully, laughing a bit, but not in the 'HURRHURR, SUCKER!' sort of manner. She took one step to look at him from the side, quirking a brow at him. "And not that it matters to me at this moment, but you've still yet to have corrected your problem." she noted, lifting a paw to wave at him a bit.
"Now, I believe you were looking for your little birdie friend?" she chimed, looking away from him again. "I'd say you better get to that while I go find my little leopard friend, he seems to have disappeared on me, and he'll probably get lost without me, the poor dear." she chimed, still keeping the same charmed yet cynical tone, starting to stride off away from him.
In fact, that was probably going to be the last thing she told him, the little witch. She didn't really care, though. There was -something- about little boys that needed to grow up, without her help first.

Nunda's eyes lit up a bit, before he looked at the ground sheepishly. "My name is Nunda'kilinda.." he mumbled. He felt quite uncomfortable at the moment, and naturally was anxious to get the hell out of there.
"W-well.. I suppose I'll be going now..." he said after a few seconds. He began to pad into the tall grass, before looking back at Freya. He just stared at her for what felt like forever, before turning and padding into the grass. It was hard to believe that in less than 30 minutes, he'd A: met a lady, B: a different species of big cat, other than lion, and C: been kissed by this lady. Nunda heaved a sigh, knowing that this experience would now cause him to definitely act his age, not younger, not older. 'She certainly set me in my place...' he thought, as his cheeks turned red at the thought of that kiss.

Freya stood and watched the awkward boy for a few minutes, smirking to herself, before she turned away from him, taking her own time to trot off through the grass, pondering where on EARTH Ba'kru had ran off to, though the prospect of him abandoning her never did enter her mind. Afterall, she OWNED him.
"You're a cute kiddo, Nunda'kilinda, but you need to grow into reality a little bit. Just a little." she said, though she knew he wouldn't hear it, and she couldn't help but snicker to herself.
"Now Ba'kru.. I'm gonna throw a fit if you just ran off on me.." she grumbled annoyedly under her breath as she treaded out into the grasses away from the pridelands. She had some butt to go kick.
