I could use some help debating why it is wrong to abort a fetus before it feels pain. websites or comments greatly appreciated.

Does it matter if it can feel pain? Can we kill people asleep or in comas or if they are paralyzed or can't feel pain? Can we kill babies before they can remember anything, before they can understand their death?
Wouldn't it jsut be simpler to kill nobody at all? wink

You could point out to them that abortion appeals to the worst part of humanity and denies the best. Abortion is, in effect, the mother telling the baby "You're not worth my time and effort, so I'm going to have you killed." And don't allow people to use words like, the pregnant woman. Use the word mother, because even if she denies the child, it IS still her child. She will always be its mother, even after she has it killed. Suppose EVERYONE took that attitude? Suppose every charity in the world ended tomorrow, because people started saying "There's nothing in it for me. From now on, it's ME first and everyone else can go to hell." Abortion is shallow, selfish and self-serving, and another person must die for the mother's convenience.
You might also look up the statistics for the various genocides of the 20th century and compare them to the statistics since Roe Vs. Wade passed.

There are people out there with a condition that causes them not to feel pain. if it's ok to kill before pain is felt is it ok to kill them at anytime? they may not feel pain but they are still alive and are still people.

Wouldn't it jsut be simpler to kill nobody at all? wink Because they are still living humans (even if they can't feel pain) and fetus and people in commas can't consent to it. Nor is the fetus and evil killer, it did nothing wrong (it's not like it appeared out of nowhere and plan to kill people rolleyes , though in some cases it can kill a woman but not on purpose, but those cases are an exspations sp?).

Wrong! The fetus is a non-human blob of cells which entirely destroyed my last half-sentance to intentionally destroy a woman's bodily integrity! scream
