I just realized there isn't anywhere to hang out and get to know each other in this guild, so I resolved to make... a fictional cafe! Hooray. Please introduce yourself, but otherwise feel free to talk about anything. ^_^
Anyway... hi! You can call me Moon. I love Final Fantasy VIII basically more than anything, so I lurk around this guild a lot. xd Let's be friends!?
Edit: Ack! There's actually another cafe on the main guild page that I forgot about. Now I feel stupid. XD;; But that thread is already really long, so we can get to know each other more intimately here. 3nodding

;o! I've tried writing fanfiction but I never finish what I start writing. ;l Mine's mostly Seifer/Quistis. xD I have to admit I've only read one Seifer/Squall fanfic. D; It was only a drabble too.

Don't feel bad -- I've never finished any of my stories either, except of course the one-shots. sweatdrop
I love Seifer/Quistis! They make a great couple. The last fanfic I read about them was really sappy, AU, and OOC, though, so I think that turned me off a little from Seiftis fanfiction. XD I mostly read Seifer/Squall, 'cause it's my OTP. *obsessed*

Hmm so I think this thread is a good idea! I'm also a FF8 aholic, *Raises hand and smiles proudly* biggrin I've been playing it since 1999 and I've beaten it a bunch times, it's better every time. Umm I haven't read much Fanfic but I should. I also haven't written any FF8 Fanfics but I'm the same exact way, I can never finish anything I start! crying
I have done a few fan arts tho......

Yeah. OOC fanfiction can be a turn-off. D; I recommended some good 'Seiftis' in the fanfiction thread.
I've finished oneshots too.... wait no. I lied. I have one where I completely forgot where I was going with it. Damn those spur-of-the-moment fanfics. xD
I'd like to see some fan art. ;D If you want to share.

What!? Why was it bashing Quistis? That's strange... usually the problem is heaps of Rinoa bashing in FFVIII fanfiction FFVIII fandom. Rinoa really gets the short end of the stick. XD;
Do you hate Rinoa? Rinoa was one of my favorite characters the first time I played the game, and I admit that over the years that's changed, but I do still like her. I appreciate her as a character who has a lot of faults but good intentions -- she's realistic. I think the whole cast of main characters is the game's greatest strength; I wouldn't want to part with any of them!
Anyway, my favorite characters now are Squall, Seifer, and Quistis... the moody bunch... o_O How about you? (Sorry for rambling!!)

We’ll dream by the sea Oh, there's no doubt in the Rinoa-bashing. This story, though, paired Seifer off with Quistis first before he was supposed to realize that he was meant to be with Squall. ;l
I admit that I played most of the Final Fantasy before I got my hands on this game and had read quite a deal of fanfiction before playing. So in my mind I was set to love Seifer and Quistis. There were points where Rinoa did get on my nerves, like the fact she couldn't make up her mind to fight and whatnot but even though she did still make me smile.
I adore the whole cast. Just some more than others. xD No wars and no pain

Poor Quisty... she's the only main character who didn't have a love interest at the end of the game. I guess, now that I think about it, Seiftis is pretty close to canon, 'cause Seifer doesn't have anyone either -- and they have great chemistry! XP
Do you watch Lost? It's on in less than an hour and I'm really excited. :O
What's your favorite anime? I'm really into Samurai Champloo right now, but my all-time favorite is Fruits Basket. heart

No, I don't watch Lost. D;

I've read/seen a little of Full Moon, which is by the same person who made Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. I like her art style. heart
I urge you to read and/or see Fruits Basket!! It literally changed my outlook on life.
And... Samurai Champloo is by the same guy who directed Cowboy Bebop, if you've heard of that? I don't like how people are always comparing them, though, because I prefer Samurai Champloo. Anyway, I highly recommend it!
