I just dont understand why it is turning into black , I meen, it could be because he is an evil person, but I just think that is a lame excuse.

im not an expert on the subject but before he went into the water he grabed some of clouds stolen materia and for him it gave him strange powers for example if it was the manipulatin materia he may have found a way to put the magic into the water and posses the kids the way he did but thats just my opinion

it's the effect of the materia he is wielding just like the black materia turned the skies grey when used with evil intuition so did that water when he used the manipulate materia.

Basically its all got to do with the fact that Kadaj is a part of Sephiroths will.

Kadaj is a "Larva" form of sephorath, so basically he is sephorath, and yay I agree about the manipulation materia thingy

Geostigma is actually Jenova's Genetic Legacy. Watch the movie entirely and pay attention to what they are saying. So yes Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo are 'larvea' forms of Sephiroth but since how Cloud had all the material and he also had the Black Material after the major fight with Sephiroth. So maybe Kadaj used the black material to get what he wanted.

i think eirman is kind of right on the materia part but i also think that he was part of that disease that all the kids were getting

Lol reading up articles on several fan websites, the majority vote went to how Kadaj and his evil intentions mixed with the materia made some sort of evil effect - thus making the kids possessed. In my opinion I think it was just Kadaj and his magicness smile
