Well, I got it, and I know there's got to be some other Pokefans out there!
If you've got Diamond/Pearl, what do you think about it, and the new WiFi capability?
Also, when did you become a Pokefan? This can also be the place to trade Friend Codes and whatnot.

My first ever game was Pokemon Blue, back for GameBoy Color (and yes I still have it AND the GameBoy!). It was not only my first Pokemon game, it was my first GameBoy game. I'd been addicted to the (original) series since it debuted.
I've got:
Blue, Red, Yellow, Gold, Sapphire, Emerald, LeafGreen, and Diamond. (and Pokemon TCG and original Pinball for Color, as well as Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue and Pokemon Trainer).
So, anyone else have Pearl/Diamond? I'm only on my third badge, now. 3nodding

my diamond should be here.. HOPEFULLY.. monday XD i was hoping itd be here today, but no. >:
im looking forward to the wifi POWAHS! as i have lots of online buds in america who i can battle. should be fun.
ive been a pokemon fan since.. before it went big time crazy fad... i was one of those early early fans XD about 3 weeks after i got into it it was like.. uber fandom all over the place.. it was scary.. but fun.

I bought my first (lime green) gameboy so I could play Pokemon Red. I got gold and silver later and the N64 games but then began to lose interest a little when there were too many Pokemon for me to memorise them all...
I just found my Pokemon card collection recently - I forgot how much I loved it! I might think about getting pearl or diamond just so I can battle people online, I'd love to kick some butt like I used to! Or lose embaressingly badly. Either way would be a laugh.

The only reason I ever looked for an N64 ( a few years ago) was because I just wanted to play Pokemon Snap to say that I had. ^^ At one point I memorized all the original 150 pokemon, and now I know a great deal of the Gold/Silver/Crystal ones. There's apparently close to 450 now... I can beat just about anyone with my TCG game, but I don't have enough money for the real cards. I do, however, have 95% of the 'Burger King' cards featuring shots from the first movie and whatnot..... rofl

gold and silver were my all time favourites. i was disspointed in ruby and sappire, i never really go back and play my ruby much... but im hopeful for diamond and pearl, because the seemt o have brought back alot of things form GS and added the best bits from RS, then added more! and the whole online thing is a nice bonus.
i have tons of cards XD theyre all.. somewhere ina folder... and i have tons of plushies, just recently i got 4 more from the cancer research shop i work at! xd all fun.

I used to play that a lot. I got the 1st 3 games I think...I know the last one I got was the first for the GBA. I never completely finished it. I had to stay off it for a while & when I came back all my berry bushes were dead, including the special ones you can't replace if you don't have more berries. It ticked me off so much I haven't gone back to it or gotten any more of the games. And I was getting hacked off at never ever getting to go to that Mirage Island place. :X
I always thought it would be inevitable that someday they would develop a Pokemon game where you could play it on your own player, catching & training pokemon, etc. & then go online with a team of them in a multiplayer enviroment. Looks like it's finally happening! xd Have fun, y'all!

Hehe, first game I ever played was yellow, then I played crystal. Good old gameboy advance...
I now have Ruby, and my sister has Fire Red. Of course I've managed to kick a** and cheat my way to having an almost undefeatable party on level 100... ninja
I'm one pokemon away from completing the Hoenn dex- slight problem, it's gorbyss, ... and none of my friends have it. The battle tower is getting on my nerves, I can only get around 42 straight (EDIT: OHH 42!!) without being defeated by a Gyradoss...
And I can't get to mirage island either... it's avoiding me, I've decided.
I got into pokemon because me and my friends always used to play them in primary school, and then all the better games came out... I don't play it so much any more, but you know, every now and then. It's just one of those things you don't tell people, haha. You either like pokemon, or you hate them and tease other people who like them.
Because I don't have a DS (and am too stingy to buy one), I haven't yet experienced the wonders that is pearl and ah... ... whatever the other one was. Diamond or something.
I think my Anorith evolved around 42 (EDIT: 42 again!!) or so. I can't remember...
Eh anyway my main team is:
Blazekin (100)
Swampert (100)
Latios (100)
Groudon (100)
Salamence (100)
Lanturn (100)
But I have a second party around level 70-100 which I occasionally switch in.
