Nationality: Irish/English/German....a.k.a., the usual American mutt.
Personality: Callie is ambitious, intelligent, and [unfortunately] incredibly shy, preferring the company of plants and animals rather than people themselves, seeing most society as narcissistic, ignorant, and worst of all: mean. Due to this, she doesn't have much of a social life and spends her time reading anything she can get her hands on and writing about key information in her journals.
Being a kind person in nature, she refuses to tolerate any form of cruelty, and has taken a vegetarian lifestyle in silent rebellion. She's also known to volunteer in animal shelters, soup kitchens, and small hospitals. She strives to help those in need, and hopes that one day she'll get over her social anxiety and speak her voice out like Sue Coe.
Interests: Books, Evie, Zorro, botony, biology, psychology, ice cream, spicey foods, propaganda posters, head massages. Honestly? All massages.
Dislikes: Ignorance, cruelty, really hot and humid weather, carbonated drinks.

Callie belongs to the ever increasing family type where the relationship of the parents fell apart and ultimately, split at her tender age of 7 years old. She stayed with her mother, on regards that her father had a mistress and a different family of his own with her elsewhere. Being an only child, there were no siblings to discuss this sensitive subject amongst themselves, and in the end kept her frustration and anger to herself.
Her mental age and maturity grew rapidly as she watched her mom struggle with their new life: she had given up college to be with her husband, and having always been the stay-at-home-mom, was going through temporary job through temporary job, as most current businesses wouldn't hire a woman just past her prime when they could hire a young, smoldering secretary instead. Going back to school to pick up where she had left off was financially impossible from the care of Callie, so despite the harrassment she would receive from her sleazy employers, she continued to work hard to support the one person she still had in her life and loved. Callie, to help out, took to doing simple house chores after school, such as cleaning, cooking, and maintaining the garden patch they somehow rescued in their tiny backyard.
It's safe to assume that her mannerisms she exhibits now derived from these past incidents. Her record of love-interests are small and short-lived, usually ending in her behalf for one silly reason or another; her social anxiety as a whole, and her aggressive behavior for school, as she doesn't want to end up like her mom, as much as she loves her.
Now in her early 20s, Callie had moved out of her mom's small house and into a fairly-nice apartment in the city districts where she studies as a biology major, and a social science minor. Her workaholic tendencies have earned her a good position at Korma Sutra, an Indian restaurant not too far from her apartment. Working there has provided her a good amount of money to comfortably live on her own, and help out her mom, who is doing better now as is, when she can.
As a second year biology major, she scoped the city out for possible internship opportunities, and after what seemed like an eternity found an interesting article on Vale of Earth, a laboratory that just happened to be nearby. On a whim, she applied to become an apprentice, but instead was given a job as ...a janitor. While she was a little disappointed, she has no doubt in her mind that if she were to work hard enough and show enough interest, she may possibly climb the latter in ranks and find herself in good spirits with school and progress. Little does she know what climbing that latter would entail...
While working at VoE, she still holds her waitressing job from time to time incase things were to fall through, though she doesn't work there nearly as much as she used to, now that she has to handle VoE and school work alltogether.
To this day, the last time she has heard from her father were late-posted birthday cards in her tweens, and she has no desire to see the man who broke her mother's heart, and secretly, her own.
