Change gender? Skip the wings? What do you think?
Wings and transgender would be funny to watch!
Just the wings would be cool.
No wings, but a girl to guy transformation would be different!
  Change the animal!
  Ditch the whole idea!
yay! Free gold! (AKA Don't care)

About Evi

Full Name:
Evangeline Cooper
Nickname(s): Evi, Cooper, but mostly just Evi
Age: 19
Birthdate: October 31, 1987
Hair color: Black (raven black, not 'really, really dark brown')
Skin tone: Average Caucasian, a bit on the pale side
Eye color: Dominantly green with flecks of gold and brown. (So, hazel?)
Height: 5'1"
Weight: 10-ish lb
Build: Very slim, rather muscular from years of working as a martial artist/trapeze-circus performer person. It's not what some would call 'disgusting' muscular, but she's well toned.

Common Appearance: Unless she's performing, you'll most often find Evi in very conservative clothing. She prefers dark clothing, long sleeved shirts, dark pants, and her hair cut boyishly short. She's also often found wearing some kind of head gear, whether its a hat or a cloth wrap of sorts. Really though, she possess no drive to go shopping 'just because' and views it as an impossible chore in which whatever she buys someone in her family hates and doesn't match with anything else she owns.

Her face would best be describes as slightly round, but not what one would consider chubby. So, somewhere between angular and chubby? She has full lips and naturally arched eyebrows that are slightly thin. Her eyes are slightly almond shaped and a ever so slightly larger than some, which could have possibly given her slight 'doe-eyed' expression if she didn't look like such a tomboy. However, her skin is, luckily, is still quite nice. Her face is very youthful looking and, combined with her height, could fool people into thinking she was much younger than her 19 years of age.

She would definitely not be considered to have model's body. She would actually be considered slightly flat, and a bit curvy, but not nearly enough to be considered 'model' curvy. (But then again what is 'model'?) Without trying too hard, she could pass of as a young boy, maybe up to the age of about 13. A very feminine looking boy, but it wouldn't be too hard to disguise herself.

Evi would definitely not be considered ' amazingly gorgeous and beautiful' among women. It's not that she's plain, exactly, its simply that she doesn't care to even attempt to accent her looks. She could be 'more than half-way decent' as her mother would often complain, if she 'wasn't such a tomboy and would just wear some clothing that was just a bit more feminine and some make-up wouldn't hurt, nor would leaving that dratted hair of hers just a bit longer...' at any rate, whenever Evi's appearance would come into question, that was generally the route the conversation would take. Evi's nose has been broken several times, broken both legs and arms (though not necessarily at the same time) and had stitches on her eyebrow, which, for some odd reason, has caused the hair to grow white over the scar ever since.

Orientation: She's really much to busy to think about it.
Ethinicity: Russian (technically...)
Birthplace: Moscow, Russia
Occupation: Circus performer (Like Cirque du Soleil, but smaller)
Life aspiration: Doesn't really have one.
Likes/Hobbies: Touring with her circus troupe, martial arts, being better than boys, being 'number one', having fun, performing, sports
Dislikes: Losing, being made fun of, the color pink, pink things in general, frilly things, having very long hair, sounding stupid, school, whining, liquor, smoking

Immediate family: Her father, Gabriel Cooper. Plays an important role in her life and is one of the few that she really respects. At the current time, they are on good terms with each other, which isn't exactly rare, but they had been having difficulties for a while.

Sarah Johnson, her mother. She's actually more of a friend than a parental figure and the only one that Evi would trust spilling all her problems out to (sometimes she'll go to her brother but, you know, boys just don't listen as well as girls...) Evi is closer to her mother than her father, at any rate. Obviously, they have their spats every once in a while over the way Evi dresses, or the fact that she refuses to wear make-up (outside of a show, of course.) but it's never anything that's not easy to get over quickly.

Mikhail Cooper is her one and only sibling and partner in crime. As her only actual biological family member, Evi feels a certain bond with him that simply isn't possible with her parents. In good times or in bad, he's always there for her as she is for him.

Personality: Brash, sharp-tongued, inquisitive, and bullheaded all describe Evi very nicely. Evi's quite the tomboy and as a child, got into a lot of fights with a lot of the older and much bigger boys. At times, she doesn't even seem to remember that she isn't all that big. Unfortunately for her, and to the dismay of her family, she has many 'unladylike' and rather obnoxious traits, which gives them a lot of pain on a daily bases. Evi is very quick to anger and her pride is easily hurt. Because of that, she's very easily persuaded to do the most bizarre and dangerous of dares. To the surprise and dismay of her male and more rough, bar loving friends, she'll never take a dare involving alcohol, simply because she has made it rule to never drink alcohol in her lifetime.

Because of her quick wit, courageousness, and bullheadedness, Evi generally makes friends with burly, 'tough' men because they find her temper so amusing. As for the more high-ended, sophisticated people who know her, they would say that their relationship is less than friendly and that if they could, they would kill her. But of course, that doesn't bother her in the slightest. Though many outsiders find Evi rather unusual and extremely crude, her family would say different. For Evi, respect is a very big thing and is not earned lightly. But if you can earn it, and get her to respect you, than Evi is a very good friend indeed. If she takes up a promise, she will fulfill it, no matter what the costs, because to her, breaking a promise is one of the worst things she could possibly ever do. She won't think twice about insulting someone she doesn't like, or getting into a fight with someone she's never seen before, but to her, a promise is something that must be kept, or you must face dire consequences. Like many who have a 'tough' personality, she tends to hide her true feelings in order to look 'cool' when actually, she isn't all that comfortable with herself.

At times, strangely enough, her personality tends to alter to the exact opposite. Or rather, she becomes incredibly immature and slightly insane. To this day, nobody knows why.

History

Evi's biological parents are unknown and most of her memories until around the age of nine are hazy, so Evi would be considered as one of those types without a real past, which could have possibly effected how she turned out as she grew up. From what information she has been able to gather and from what she still remembers, it would seem that she was born in Moscow, Russia to a woman who's identity remains a secret. On the drizzly morning of October 31, 1987 she was left on the doorsteps of an orphanage and found by one of the women who worked there. They, being those who worked at the orphanage, took the two orphans in without so much as drama – they had had many cases where children had been left at their door (strangely enough), this pair was hardly special. Growing up in an orphanage was more or less an interesting experience, though the women who ran the orphanage did care about the children, the majority of them were nameless (how legal it was, of course, was questionable, but that was the way things rolled.), so for the first seven years of her life, Evi had no identity. Surprisingly enough, as a very young child, Evi had absolutely no confidence and was one of those types of kids that would whimper at every little thing that was moderately scary – like sheep. (She really didn’t have a good experience with sheep.) It may have been for her very shy demeanor or the fact that she was such a tiny, fragile little child, but Evi was bullied almost constantly by the older (or simply bigger) children of the orphanage. Teasing, poking, stuffed animal stealing, and scaring were only a few of the things that she had to endure on a daily basis. For the most part, she would run to her brother for comfort, though he was just as short as she and no older.

Other than the fact that she had no name, no actually family other than her brother, she was scared to death of most things, and she was constantly being threatened by bullies, Evi’s life was pretty normal. The biggest problem for her was that whenever anybody came by to look at the children or to adopt one, it was never both Evi and her brother. In fact, it was never Evi, it was one of the other children, or her brother. Of course, he would never allow himself to be separated from her and refused to go with anybody who would not also take his sister. So, because of those complications, Evi lived at the orphanage until the age of seven. (Which, now that she thinks back, isn’t all that long, but, seven years without ever getting one inquiry for adoption? That’s just a little ridiculous.) It was at that tender young age that she met the Coopers, or rather, Gabriel Cooper and Sarah Johnson, who were couple but not. Just by looking at their bohemian air, the fact that they referred to themselves as ‘married but not’, and the fact that they gave out their occupations as ‘bohemian circus performers touring the world to see if it was really flat or not’ labeled them just a little bit more than eccentric. Though they weren’t really bohemians or touring the world to see if it was flat, (Evi didn’t figure that out until later on in life) they were a young couple, they were vacationing, they did in fact have a family run circus, and they were not particularly looking for a child; or two, for that matter. At any rate, they had come to visit the orphanage to put on a show for the children, knowing that it must be pretty hard to live in an orphanage with many other children and no real parental figures. This was a crucial turning point for the young Evi for as she watched them perform various acrobatic and contortionist tricks, Evi fell in love with it and knew that that was what she wanted to do in her life. (Which is an odd thought for a seven year old, but it does happen to some people.) After the performance, Evi sought out her brother (who had, on a side note, gotten tired of being called ‘boy’ all the time and given himself the name of Mikhail) and forced him to accompany her to talk to the two strange people. Needless to say, by the end of the conversation between the adults and the two seven year olds, the Coopers had too, fallen in love. So, several months, a large stack of paperwork, and lots of coffee, time, and frustration later, Evi (who had finally gotten a name, after some prompting from the Coopers, who pointing out that you couldn’t not have a name.) and Mikhail were in Austin, Texas and starting a new life as Coopers.

Something happened, whether it was the US, the Coopers, or maybe it was just the way things would have turned out anyways, but being adopted seemed to have a bizarre affect on Evi’s personality. Though she learning circus acts, home schooling, learning English, and getting used to her new family, Evi just seemed to bloom. It wasn’t long before she seemed to have gotten over the majority of her fears and was turning from shy and withdrawn to this outgoing, witty, and incredibly tomboy-ish young girl. In fact, her changes still astonish the Coopers, a little more than a decade later. She became more confident (though she will probably forever remain with that chip on her shoulder) with herself and started making friends with other children. But where that was the positive side of her becoming outgoing, there were negatives too. Because the circus act stayed pretty much in one place (as a side note, Mikhail did indeed show just as much enthusiasm for circus performing as Evi and became her number one competitor.) She managed to get to know the people she worked with, which did include children her age and above, very very well. It seemed that the twins had a natural talent for acrobatic tricks, learning every stunt carefully and to great precision, which was only fueled more by their absolute passion for performing and their incessant need to practice. This led to some jealously by the children who had been performing for much longer and who had basically live with the circus their whole lives, whereas Mikhail and Evi had only come when they were seven. Tension grew more and more until Evi was around the age of ten, and heated arguments between the older children and the twins began to occur, which often ended up fights where everyone ganged up on Evi and Mikhail. Though the adults often stopped the quarrels before anyone got too injured, they were helpless in getting them to stop fighting at all and they continued to break out every couple of weeks.

By the time she was fifteen, she rarely experienced any problems and, for the most part, become accepted into the circus troupe. She made friends easily, and her life was completely stable. It remained that way until the age of nineteen, when she was shipped off to a certain island.

Saimiri sciureus
Common Squirrel Monkey

Physical Aspects: Squirrel monkey fur is short and close, colored olive at the shoulders and yellowish orange on its back and extremities. Their throat and the ears are white and their mouths are black. The upper part of their head is hairy. This black and white face gives them their German name, "skull monkeys".

Squirrel monkeys grow to 25 to 35 cm, plus a 35 to 42 cm tail. They weigh 750 to 1100g. Remarkably, the brain mass to body mass ratio for squirrel monkeys is 1:17, which gives them the largest brain, proportionately, of all the primates. Humans have a 1:35 ratio.

Female squirrel monkeys have a pseudo-p***s that they use to display dominance over smaller monkeys, much like the way the male squirrel monkeys display their dominance.

Location:
Squirrel monkeys live in the tropical forests of Central and South America. Their range extends from Costa Rica through central Brazil and Bolivia.

Habitat: Squirrel monkeys are found primarily in tropical lowland rainforest throughout the Amazon basin from Paraguay to Guyana and in Costa Rica and Panama. Squirrel monkeys are habitat generalists and have few restrictive requirements in regard to forest type compared to other neotropical primate; they can survive in a myriad of habitat types, including disturbed and edge forests. Across their range, squirrel monkeys are found in similar habitat types ranging from undisturbed tropical and evergreen primary forests, selectively logged tropical forests, secondary growth tropical forests, and disturbed or edge forests.

Diet: Squirrel monkeys are omnivores, eating primarily fruits and insects. Occasionally they also eat nuts, buds, eggs and small vertebrates.

Social: hey live together in multi-male/multi-female groups with up to 500 members. These large groups can, however, occasionally break into smaller troops. They have a number of vocal calls, including warning sounds to protect themselves from large falcons, which are a natural threat to them. Their small body size also makes them susceptible to predators such as snakes.

Life Span:
15 - 20 years
