~:Summer Adventure:~
~ biggrin ecisions and Invitations:~ Heero turned to look behind him as he set the closed sign in the window of his shop. He could see a very confused Hinata looking worriedly at him from the bottom step of the stairs.
Smiling softly at the young girl, he walked over and set his hand on her head. "No worries little tenshi, please, go get your brothers for me, won't you?"
Getting a nod from the girl, he removed his hand and looked to the items on his shop shelves. He'd been putting this off long enough, and things had gotten slow as it was.
Turning back to the steps as he heard footfalls, he once again gave a soft smile. "Good, you're all here." He said as he looked over his kids. "We're going on a trip, it's about time I got around to training you all, so go get packed, ok?"
Getting nods from all four kids, the kitsune was about to turn away, but one of his kids had not yet left. "Serge...?"Serge looked at his father, a little unsure of himself. But if the subject was going to be brought up, now would be the only time. "Um...a...dad...do, do you think Rogue could come along? I...that is...she wants to learn how to fight...and I thought...I mean...you really good so..."Heero could not help the slightly larger than normal smile that crossed his lips at this. "Yes, I think that would be just fine." He said with a nod. "In fact, I think you should extend the invitation to any of her siblings who wish to join in as well."~*~ Serge ran through the streets of Travers Town as fast as he could. What his father had said only minutes ago playing over and over in his head.
To say he had been a little surprised was an understatement, and his reaction had shown it apparently shown it, as he father had asked why he looked so shocked.
He'd only blushed in response, but had quickly shaken it off and packed as quickly as possible so he could go ahead and get to Rogue's.
Sliding to a stop in front of the house he knew to be hers, he grinned and he walked up to the door and reached out to ring the doorbell.

Rogue was bored. Definitely bored. B-O-R-E - "Ooof!"
Rogue was on the floor.
Quickly standing up and brushing herself off, she found herself face to face with a blue bundle of joy. The wonderful bundle of joy that just pushed her off her bed. Wait, wasn't her door closed?
"Rogue there's someone at the door for you. I think Minerva said his name is Serge."
After a quick thank you, a grin quickly spread across her lips as she headed out of the room with Azalea at her heels. She headed down the stairs and to the front door just as Serge rang the doorbell.
She opened the door and grinned, "Hey Serge. Ya come over to play?" She could only hope, but why else would he come to the door? Seriously now.
"Are you Rogue's boyfriend?" Azalea peaked around Rogue to ask the stranger with blue hair.

Serge was about to answer Rogue when the question from the little blue...something, hit his ears. Cheeks flaring crimson almost instantly, the boy turned around quickly to hide the blush before continuing to answer Rogue, while pointedly ignoring the other question.
"Dad is taking all of us away on a training trip..." The boy began, clearing his throat after. "And I um...I told him how you wanted to learn to fight...he told me to invite you...and anyone else in your family that wanted to come."

At the little Azurills' question Rogue had to duck her head slightly to hide the red tint on her cheeks. It quickly went away when Serge began speaking and she went from embarassed to excited almost instantly.
"That sounds like fun! Ah'd love to go an' Ah'm sure Minerva would love to come with meh." And she disappeared around the corner for about three seconds, she came back and grinned before grabbing Serge's hand and pulling him into the house.
"Ah'll be a few minutes, kay?" And she disappeared around the corner again.
Azalea tilted her head slightly and smiled, tail bobbing happily behins her. "So you're Rogue's nice friend but not boyfriend? Zukin talks about Minerva and this Puck boy, she says that they're going to date when they're older." She leaned in closer and spoke quieter, "Do you want to date Rogue? 'Cause I'm pretty sure she'd say y-"
Movement from around the corner cause the little Azurill to stop speaking, "Don't kids say the darndest things?" Spoken from the witch girl as if she had no emotional reaction to Azalea's words. Rogue however was silent as she walked pasted Azalea, a little annoyed with her startings of a loud-mouth habit.
The two brunette girls were clad in 'summer adventure' wear and sporting a backpack each.
Rogue suddenly grinned as she slipped shoes on, "So is this gonna be long an' exhaustin'? 'Cause Ah haven't had a good run-about for a while."
((Ugh, I tried to end this one better, really I did. What a mind blank. xd ))

Serge mentally forced away his blush and softly, much like his father had earlier that day. "Knowing Dad...it's going to push us to our limits and then some." He answered as he pulled something from behind his back and tossed whatever it was toward Rogue. "But it'll be worth it in the end."
Serge held up his arm, showing the bracelet his father had made to help keep everyone in his family linked. "Dad made a quick change to the bracelets, and gave me those." He said, motioning to the two he'd just thrown. "Once you put them on, you two will be included in the circle for as long as you're wearing them."

"But of course," Rogue grinned as she handed one of the bracelets to Minerva and put hers on herself, "They're a.. safety procaution. It lets everyone know when someone's hurt... or somethin', right?"
Minerva slipped the bracelet on and looked at it before turning to Serge, "Magic?" Training was different than magic training, she didn't think there was going to be anything like this on Rogue's little trip. Not that she minded, she just wished she knew ahead of time, not that Rogue knew herself of course.
And they were off~

"Right!" Serge said with a strong nod. "On both your counts." he added. "They also let us know when another is in danger."
Turning and looking at both girls as they walked down the street he grinned a bit. "Dad us a bit of a jack, he can do all kinds of stuff." The boy explained cheerfully, talking more to Minerva than to Rogue. "Spells and enchantments are his strongest suit next to illusions, but he's also an adept fighter, an inventor of sorts and most importantly, a great teacher."
Turning the corner toward one of the main streets, Serge looked back forward, rather than continuing to walk backward. "We'll actually be leaving town via portal, after that, I don't really know what to expect."

"That sounds so exciting, to be able to do so many different things, and do them well." Her mind started drifting, maybe Rogue wasn't the only one who could learn something on this trip.
Rogue was fine with not being talked to, she just listened and walked at a relaxing pace. Just glad to be out of the house. "Wait, a portal? Like a big swirly circle that we have to walk in to?"

Serge chuckled before glancing back over his shoulder. "Still though, he does mess up some. But only on spells he has to translate first."
Serge stopped as they reached the main street and blinked, turning to Rogue with a thoughtful look. "You know...I don't really know actually..." Scratching the back of his head he shrugged before turning back ahead and continuing to walk. "Dad never actually said what the portal would be like."

Minerva paused at that thought, "He translates his spells?" That seemed a bit weird to her, she just said everything in latin. But of course there's different types of magic, so obviously different ways of doing things.
As Serge stopped, the girls' stopped as well. Rogue grinned at his actions before they continued to walk. "Hm... Ah hope it's not one of those things that scramble ya up and shoot you through the air, 'cause Ah dun' think Ah want to go in one of those." She shuddered slightly, causing Minerva to chuckle. In good nature of course.

Serge tilted his head a little at that last thought before shaking it a little wildly. "Neither would I..." The boy admitted with a shiver. "But I'm pretty sure Dad's magic never works like that though."
As he finished saying that, a small group came into view just ahead of them, and Serge could help but wave. "Hey, we're here!" He called ahead as he took off in a sprint.
Heero turned at the sound of the call and gave a soft smile. "Glad you decided to join us." The fox man said with a pleasant wave. "Rogue, and, Minerva, if I remember." He added, nodding to each in turn.
"Allow me introduce my other kits, hmm." Motioning to a young girl behind him, with nearly white eyes first, he began. "This is Hinata, to her left is Riku, to his left, Glenn, and of course, you already know Serge." She said, as each of his kids gave their own greeting. Hinata, a polite bow, Riku a wave and Glenn a mock solute.
"And I of course, am Heero."

Minerva simply stood there and blinked, Rogue's friend's father was Heero? The owner of the shop who was trying to test Puck, and the like. What a small world. "Oh excuse my rudeness, yes it's Minerva." She curtseyed slightly before looking at the rest of the family. "It's a pleasure to meet the rest of you."
Rogue on the other hand was much more shy than Minerva at introducing herself. She stood slightly behind Minerva and Serge, waving politely. "Hello, nice to meet y'all."

Serge grinned a bit while scratching the back of his head. "Guess I should have told you how many of us there are...huh?" The boy questioned over his shoulder to Rogue.
Riku blinked at the girl's action, she acted a little like Hinata. "The pleasure is ours, trust me." The boy said as a smirk crossed his lips. If she was even a little like Hinata, this would be a lot of fun. "Serge keeps mumbling stuff about in his sleep, so Glenn and I have been curious to meet you for a while, right Glenn?"
Glenn smirked, catching on to what Riku was doing right off. "Yep, must be good dreams too, 'cause he's always smiling."
Serge's face went in instant red as soon as Riku had spoken, and he'd try to stop it then, but all he seemed to be able to do was stammer. What Glenn had said was most certainly not helping either, as he could feel his cheeks get hotter.

"A lil' warnin' might have been nice, yes." She said with a playful smile, of course that was before Riku and Glenn decided to make themselves known verbally.
She could almost feel her cheeks turning red, glancing over at Serge a few times. He was having dreams about her? of course she had her share of good dreams with Serge in it, but that was different!... Was that different?
Minerva didn't say anything, just observed. She wasn't sure if she should giggle or defend her sibling. Of course there was no harm being done, the same thing happened to her with Puck, just done a little differently.
As her blushing toned down some, Rogue smiled. "Ah don't think Ah like you two anymore. Makin' fun of Serge like that, of course he has good dreams if Ah'm in them, Ah'm awesome." She couldn't help but giggle.

"Ok, that's enough of that." Heero said when he saw Riku opening his mouth as if to reply. "It's about time we head one our way."
That said, Heero walked only a little bit away from the kids and began to focus. 'Best get it right the first this time...' Focusing, he began to mumble something, whispers of what he was saying floating on the wind as the air in front of him began to shimmer and ripple.
As he continued, his hands began to gain a faint glow, and finally, after what had to have been ten minutes, he thrust both hand forward, and slammed them into the shimmering air before him, a burst of light and wind triggering from the meeting.
When everything died down, what seemed like a rippling puddle turned sideways in the air was floating before everyone, and through it, a giant field of wild flowers with a winding path cutting through it.
