for me i thought it was THE WORSE THING I EVER SAW i was so anxious to get it i thought it was actully going to be good but i guess not the plot line wasn't very good at all only because it didn't go along with the game and i was sad sad

I really like it. I mean it's hard for me NOT to like anything Suikoden related. Sure the plot isn't exactly like the game, but an exact replica would be kinda boring. I haven't read the entire series yet, but in one of the books I noticed The St.Loa Knights (Melville, Alanis and Elliot) They had no speaking role, they were just in the background. I'm sure it's harder to give every character a speaking role in a manga opposed to a game but I still didn't like that.

Well I thought it was good, god dammit. It strayed from how the storyline really went, but if it was exactly like the game it would be long and... longer. The art was fun. I LIKED SEEING EVERY SOD. And the cameos in the 11th volume was HOT. YOU EVEN SEE GREMIO DYING. How cool is that (not the dying part)? Anyway, I must say, any manga that Chikuu buys is totally worth it, because Chikuu does not usually enjoy buying manga. And besides, it's Suikoden. How could you NOT like it?
9/10.

they changed the ending it made me mad because i wanted to see the hug...thats the only part i hated about it...

i thought it was great! of course it wasn't quite the same as in the game. it makes a very good game, but it wouldn't have been as good a manga if you followed it to the letter. all the stars were well incorporated into it, what side stories that could be included and not disrupt the flow of things were included. i also loved the art. And they didn't draw it out too much either. i don't know if i'm insanely biased or something, but i didn't see any of the flaws you pointed out.
9/10 for being very good, but lacking in the wow factor needed for a perfect score.

I liked the manga better, personally. there were some scenes that made the whole thing feel more complete. I did like the ending more too, especially the flashback scenes.

The manga fills in a lot of gaps in the game and you learn a lot more about the characters. Of course, it's different from the game. It's a comic. But, I'd have to say that I thourougly enjoyed and am proud to own all 11 volumes. I just wish they'd translate the Suikoden II manga into English.

If you don't like the story you should at least love the art. It is a great seires. I have book 3 and 5. ^ ^plan to collect them all

I personally loved the manga. I got when it first came out and followed it to vol.11. I loved the art with the part when Yuber was going to get Sasarai. 3nodding 10/10! I've read the first volume, it was really gory. (also had nakie parts.) xp But other than that, I liked how the story started out.
