Well, I have very little fashion sense, and I've never tried to dress a female avi before, but here's two (rather plain) ideas. (Also, didn't know your hairstyle/color or eye style/color, or skin color, so I just went with whatever lol)  Erm, well, yeah, pretty plain, but maybe it'll give you some ideas. ^^

Um, I think it was something along the lines of: I Think I Red curls, pale skin (I thik you got the skin tone right, actually), green eyes, straight mouth (not that mouth shape really matters any more)

You wouldn't be - you're a bloke, so haven't had much practice. That said, it's better to get guys to give their input for these things, especially in "RL", as they have different -let's just say tastes- to other girlies. Like bobs/elfin crops. Gals love them, the majority of guys don't go for it [on a girl].
