Have you ever seen Dante's Peak? I loved it! It also gave me nightmares when I was 6. blaugh Have any of you been in a simmilar situation? It doesn't have to be about volcanoes but like the intensity and everyone depends on you?

Is Dante's Peak about a volcano that erupted?
It sounds quite familiar.

Its a very good movie. Its sad and funny and suspenseful and lots of action!

I watched that a long time ago, when I was little (probably 8, I forgot). All I remember from that movie is people crossing an acidic lake in a boat, and the acid ate away the boat's motor.

We watched that in my middle school science class! Despite the fact that it was somewhat of an apocalyptic movie, I really enjoyed it. The only part I really remember is the acid lake when the grandmother pulls the boat to land and her legs are dissolved (Yes, I get a mental image. ><).
