I'm sorta done with this site but, I need constructive criticism...

Any comments on this site will be highly appreciated.

Also, my new lessons are on this site.

The website won't display on my computer, actually. It says your server is down/the website is experiencing difficulties.

It's funny that you should be creating this, because my guild (CULT) is trying to make our own religious tolerance and research page. Mostly I just don't have the time to work on it right now...

Anyhow, if your website starts working on my compy I'll gladly give you constructive criticism. Great idea with getting an off-gaia site though, it's a great way to reach lots of people.

That's weird and doesn't make sense...
I wonder what's wrong... confused

Thanks anyway.

Well, it just started working for me. That was indeed very weird.

I love the color scheme and layout, it's pretty typical of most things of this subject matter (which would be taken as a good thing or a bad thing, i suppose, depending on how well you want to 'fit in' but I love it...)

There is a big gap between the top of the main page and your first bit of image or text, not sure if that was deliberate or not, but it seems like a ton of empty space to me.

Good use of frames, though. News fader is just a little slow in appearing.

the FAQ is good, but maybe make the table of contents a little more prevalent? And the updates seem a bit uneccesary, but it all depends on what you want.

I like the division of energy manipulation lessons by skill level, that is very useful. The Articles page is well organised as well, so is the research page. The names might get a little confusing though, seeing as the research page is really resources that have been reviewed.

Skeptics section is also a good thing to have, though not much is present yet. But, on the otherkin page, make the headings (angel/angelkin, et al.) into actual headings. in HTML this is the (# can be anythig 1 to 6) tag, in case you were unaware. this will just help with organisation.

Although XD the thing about the Elric brothers and the whole thing about "vampyres can turn others" makes me cringe a little XD.....*cough cough*.

And uh....XD....

1) Alchemy isn't magick, Alchemy is the mother of chemistry.

2) Alchemy doesn't use circles or symbols to bring about any desired result.

3) Proof: http://www.levity.com/alchemy/

Hundreds of alchemical texts dating back even before the 16th century. Not a single alchemical circle or symbol to "bring about a desired effect".

I'm not sure why the 'vampire/vampyre' distinction. These are not different words, they're merely alternative spellings, and they are used interchangeably throughout the community. No distinct meanings applied to them will ever stick.

Actually, that's not LoBo's stuff. That's my FAQ (it's also stickied in the guild if you're looking for a slightly more updated one). I might mentioned that I struggled defining that for quite a long time, and asked the opinions of many people, I finally came up with a sort of complilation definition. I know the chemical aspect of alchemy. I learned about that in eighth grade. But different people believe different things. You don't have to believe in the alchemy that is often mentioned in the guild. That form of alchemy is what I described in my FAQ. You brought up a good point, though. I don't have the energy or the resources to do much right now, but soon I'll put in a section about that. That's a good link about detailed chemical alchemy information, but it is in no way "proof" of anything. If you told a judge alchemy is real because that website says so, he'd laugh you out of the courtroom. Remember kids, not everything on the internet is true.

True, but official documents from Roger Bacon and the like are. XD Doesn't matter if it's on the internet or not.

And who's to say Robert Bacon wasn't completely full of s**t? I don't exactly know much about him, but I can tell you that there are holes in everyone's story. Bacon had theories, executed experiments. Have you tried any of his experiments lately? Do you have any proof?

I think what I said came out wrong XD. I mean, him and the others are what real alchemy is, thats IS what alchemy is there is no other thing that is alchemy. Anything else would be called something else, simple as that, magick is only applied to alchemy in cheap fiction such as Full Metal Alchemist.

Damnit. It's very difficult defending something you don't really believe in. Um...I don't know. You can believe what you want. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm saying you have to at least respect the possibility that people believe different things than you do.

Lmao, and thats why nobody can hate Dras XD. I agree though, and I do respect what others believe, I just have a breaking point, a limit, and FMA "alchemy" falls under the same "fluff" category as Otakukin.
